I don't know how they could manage branching storylines though. That's why I think Jane/Kenny will have similar roles in Season 3 like Christa and Omid did in the beginning of Season 2. We will be separated from them immediately (either through death or separation) and won't see them for long time.

OK, I appreciate all the compliments, but let's get some discussion going.
When Jane came without the baby, did you believe her, or did you catch on that something wasn't right? I personally thought she had genuinely lost AJ.
I was really suspicious, so I didn't know what to think. At first I knew she was lying, but later on I wasn't sure. Still, I just didn't like Jane, or Kenny at that point...

I didn't catch on but I was caught in the heat of the moment but after watching a lets play of it I can see how obvious it was. The dude I watched realized it immediately. And i was like DOH of course I should've caught on lol.

I honestly thought she'd tossed him to a walker to save herself. It wasn't that I disliked Jane (I didn't like or dislike her until that happened, and when I found out what really happened I didn't dislike her anymore; I just thought she was kind of immature).
I figured she thought AJ was going to be a problem. In E4 she seemed like she was hinting that Rebecca should get rid of AJ ("So what are you going to do with it?") and throughout E5 she seemed uncomfortable around him.

However, if the forums are acting this out of hand over Kenny and Jane, I'd shudder to imagine the nuclear fallout that would be Luke and Kenny fans at war.
Would you guys preferred if the Pizza vs Ice Cream choice was Kenny or Luke, or are you fine with the way it is?
I would've preferred Kenny or Luke, it seemed a lot harder to me.
Instead of having them argue nonstop, have them become good friends, like how they interacted in the campfire scene, and there doesn't have to be a fight between them, just a simple "Save me from the walker!" situation. Remember how people were talking about who to sit with?
I would've wanted to see a Luke vs Kenny choice.

I've never seen anything like it. For me (I'm kind of old, so it's harder to freak me out I guess), I thought it pointed to some amazing writing because people were that invested in the characters.
the forums are being placed into a heated, passionate debate about the choice you made in Episode 205
Lol thats quite the understatement. But yes thank you for doing this! The "debate" was only getting uglier.
It stopped being about the game a long time ago. People are throwing insult around like candy and even death threats! Thats not being invested thats being insane!

I dunno thats hard to say. Luke was there since episode 1 so we knew him longer. I don't think the argument would be so heated because people wouldn't see Luke as such a manipulative person. But I've learned that there will be those who see the bad guy with anyone who dare to challenge Kenny.

I'm not trying to sound like a bitch or anything, but was me asking people to admit they disliked a character be it Jane or Kenny uncivilized and then asking them to elaborate on that? I wasn't trying to incite war, people state all the time they dislike someone, that doesn't mean we're crapping on other peoples opinions. Again, I don't mean to sound like a jerk.
I don't know if I could have chosen between Kenny and Luke. As it was, I had more data about Kenny and a pretty good handle on what his personality was, while I didn't really trust Jane even though she seemed more together (Kenny was more together in Season 1...who's to say that Jane wouldn't snap too?).
But Kenny vs. Luke would have been a lot harder. Luke had some issues, but he still might have been the better choice. But again, those few issues could have turned into crazy somewhere down the road.

Thats what I think the writers were going for. The decision is a lot harder when its Kenny because its Kenny! A more interesting question IMO is what if Kenny wasn't even involved. Instead of Kenny vs anyone... How about Jane vs Luke. A little more tougher without that huge history from season 1 isn't it?
I think I would've preferred that at the end of Ep. 4, but as Ep. 5 progressed, it became too hard to choose between Luke and Kenny. I love … moreLuke, but something about him just kinda turned me off in Ep. 4, as well as Kenny.
I think Luke v. Kenny would've been harder and more heartbreaking, and Jane v. Kenny made the pizza v. ice cream choice way easier IMO.

I know I said I would not merge threads, but I made exceptions for extremely small and recent threads that had no forum drama in them instead of closing them.
I got what ya mean. I just didn't really think my forum was all that uncivil, that's all. I kinda thought things we calming down a bit, but I think as new members join or old people come back and have no idea what the state of the forum is and start to incite arguments unintentionally.

I don't know. I didn't see your thread. All I know is that I took a few days break and the first thing I saw was 3 separate threads insulting Jane in the title... And it was clear to me nothing was getting better. I know whose making it worse and you're not one of them.

Yeah I know but they could live longer than expected.
Sooner, later, they´re still practically doomed.

Ok thanks!
I´m going to keep my expectations low. Don´t wanna set myself up for disappointment.

Someone get the forum history books. This is going in.
Yeah Unknown Status.

I kind of suspected something was going on but I wasn't sure.

When she said "You're gonna see what he really is." I had an idea.

Yeah, that's a little over the top. I'm glad to see this thread!
I'm actually wanting to come back to these boards now. When I was just sticking to the off topic section.

I saw it coming.
I saw it coming and I still shot poor Kenny. But I have bestowed upon myself Quantum Immortality.

I figured it out as soon as she started talking when Kenny got out of the rest stop.
But like I said, it doesn't have to a fight. And we knew Kenny longer, not Luke.
I would have preferred a Kenny vs Luke. I wanted a Luke ending.
Still sore we didn't get one.
I think just mentioning it would have done it. These forums were just going to implode in itself if something wasn't done.
FINALLY

Remember when EP4 came out? Everyone was like "Kill Luke and Kenny, we want Mike and Bonnie."
and now......
"Kill Mike and Bonnie, we want Luke and Kenny."

THANK YOU for this! Seriously
I think if it was Kenny vs anyone but Luke, Kenny would win
And if it was Luke vs anyone but Kenny, Luke would win
So that's why they made it Luke vs Kenny, because they were fan favorites
Kenny was from Season 1, so that's a big help to him
Luke was good to Clem since he met her, and a overall likeable guy
it's like choosing to hang out with your uncle or your brother

The forums have been restored in one fell swoop! Three cheers for BlindSniper!
