You sound like Shane. And people do change, they adapt to the situation. Without her husband ruling over her, she found some strength in herself. She had friends. Losing her daughter and her friendship with Daryl changed her quite a bit. No I dont believe for a second that everyone would be out for their own. Rick was keeping the group together and that's just not how he thinks. He was even willing to keep Shane in the group, this man who betrayed him and was trying to thwart him at every turn. Why you think Carl wouldn't survive when he had people protecting him, I don't know.

Well, how is that different from what happens in the comic or what happens in the game? The Walking Dead/zombie apocalypse universe is a lot of moving around and settling. If you think absolutely nothing is going to happen, you haven't watched the trailer for the next season. I think I can guess why you liked the Grove so much.

It was one of the few episodes to develop characters. The game is different because I actually care what happens to most of the characters. The show doesn't have great character development for me and the main characters pale in comparison to the game.

the correct answer is nobody cares the show has gone to total craps, i stopped watching midseason 3.
Season 3 was awful, and the middle of Season 4 was too, but the rest of Season 4 wasn't that bad.
