Why do people never consider them starting a completely new story in the TWD universe?
The most we'll get out of Clem's story in S3 is mayb… moree a few mentions or scattered details.
They won't pick a canon ending because that would defeat the whole point of their games, and they won't make 5 different stories to start from because it'd be insane work. Clem's story is over, accept it.

Not to my liking, sorry bud. I'd much prefer an older Clementine or Christa for protagonist.

I just don't have the faith, is all. I still remember how they told us 400 days would matter a lot in Season 2. Lol.
How will they know who downloaded the game on console? Anyone can go into the store and say: "Yeah, I downloaded it before, but since Season 3 will be on Next-Gen I need to get Season 1 and 2 on Next-Gen. Can I have a discount?"
Well, although I liked Lee very much, in the end i cried because of Clem and not his death. If TT pick another protagonist and Clems story is over I'm not sure if they can create the same mood from the last seasons.

Nah, our ending decision will probably end up not mattering unfortunately. Or they can do what Bioware is doing for the next Dragon Age, in which you chose the decisions you made without playing the game and then import them.

Lee dies in Season 1. Clem is alive in Season 1 & 2. Unless we actually see Clem dies, Telltale cannot scrap the main character with no details. Telltale also wouldn't let the main character die as a child, besides Duck and Sarah.

I don't want to change consoles yet, they'll probably make it for 360 and PS3 I hope. It isn't exactly a high demanding game, engine wise
I think that Season 3 will have 5 different first episodes, all leading to the same place.
They need to fix the awful cutting in the console versions though. It's one of the many things I'm glad are fixed by playing on PC.
