Kenny is canonically a Fable
Let's think about this here for a second:
Georgie, a fable, gets a slice across his stomach with a knife.
He is in extreme pain for the next couple hours, being constantly tended to by Vivian, before succumbing to his wounds and dying painfully.
Kenny, a human, gets a slice across his stomach with a knife.
He then runs outside without help instantly after the wound is made, holds his own in a brutal fight that he ends up winning, walks off just fine through a snowstorm without any medical supplies, and is fully healed and A-OK 9 days later.
The only explanation is that Kenny is actually a fable, and his popularity amongst mundies saved his life.
(As a side note, I'm half-joking about this. I saved Jane and went to Howe's with her. Please don't fight about Kenny/Jane and just consider the faulty logic behind Kenny surviving his wounds.)
Comments
Simple, She didn't cut him deep enough but only just enough to draw blood.
Could be. But if he survived that from somebody who intended to cause harm, rather than Bigby who simply accidentally cut Georgie (who is still a Fable), it doesn't add up that Kenny's cut would be less deep.
I dunno, he died pretty easy from a bullet. Considering Ken's popularity I'd think it'd take more than that if he was.
Season 2 is just Kenny fan-service.
Because the writers doesn't have ideas that makes the story "appealing"
I fucking died laughing just reading the title XD
But, taking this into consideration, you may as well be fucking right.
I mean, even popular Fables can die with a fatal gunshot to the head, but if you choose to side with him and go to Wellington, then yeah. He must've healed pretty nicely!
Shit, this opens a whole world of fan-fic crossovers!
Pretty much.
Sad to say this, but I have to agree. It was pretty frustrating to not be able to voice my resentment at Kenny unless you burn the drawing in episode 1, and then that's completely forgotten and suddenly Clem is Kenny's best friend. I wish the other characters had received an equal amount of screentime as him.
cut? his intestines were hanging out
They wrote him in at episode 2. I think the final scene was supposed to be Carlos vs someone but they added Kenny in for Fan Service. They were setting Carlos up to play Kenny's aggressor role. I think the original ending was going to be Carlos vs Someone, and Sarah was going to be the survivor not AJ. So you would have to shoot Carlos right in front of Sarah.
There are a few lines of dialogue that point to this, but were never changed at release because of laziness.
Yeah, a lot of the lines seem odd after you get the final product.
Luke: Now your Dad's the nicest man I know, which is why he won't do anything crazy, or not nice, right?
Yeah, the screentime was my biggest issue with him as well. The Cabin Group was really starting to come along and then they were shoved off to the sidelines in episode 3.
I don't really care if Kenny is in Season 2,
The problem is that he just overshadows everyone, Equal screentime is
Exactly, there is a few other things that he does. For example he spits in Carver's face when he first meets him. To me that was the smoking gun. Episode 3 Carlos would have never done that. I think the ending would have been better,
Do you restrain Sarah? Carlos is getting beaten up.
Do you shoot Carlos to save someone, in front of his daughter or do you let him kill that person?
I feel like these choices would have been better. I love Kenny and all but S2 suffered by rehashing a old character.
That's the thing. They both got cuts, and only Georgie, the fable of the two, had his guts hanging out and ended up dying because of that wound. It doesn't make sense.
kenny's wasn't that deep georgie basically got gutted
They both got sliced across the chest at extremely similar angles. And, as I mentioned before, it doesn't make sense for Georgie to be the one with the worse wound, as his wound was not intentionally inflicted. When Jane cut Kenny, she wanted to kill him with it.
bigby stabbed him
Uh, no. Bigby shoved the knife into Georgie's stomach and sliced it open, while Jane only grazed Kenny's stomach with her knife.
Dang my first comment disappeared into the unknown void.
Anyway, yeah, my biggest problem with Kenny was because of his large amount of screentime after episode 2. The Cabin Group was coming along nicely and then they were shoved aside in episode 3 to make way for Kenny.
My apologies. My memory did not serve me right on this particular scene. Having gone back and rewatched it, he very plainly stabbed him.
Ye, it's k :>
I know that feeling, my comments sometimes disappears too.
Anyway, if it just wasn't 90 minutes, and the length was same as those Season 1 episodes, this season would have been one of the best
Didn't Georgie get stabbed..?
Some peoples are just never satisfied.
bigby shoved the knife right into georgie's gut jane just sliced kenny's gut end of story
Kenny shows up in TWAU
Bigby: I thought you were dead.
Kenny: I am, this is all just a dream.
I have no idea who Georgie and Bigby are but I was also pretty stunned that Clem's gunshot wound was barely looked at. And then there is the baby being quiet with seemingly so little food. I think we can only conclude that they were all dead and what we see is a final hallucination from one of them.
In fact it was probably from the moment when Kenny miraculously reappeared. That was when Clem was dying. The old group was her mind trying to pull her back to life. Kenny was trying to pull her towards death. When he wasn't quite doing that, Clem's mind invented Jane to finish the job and the two of them together at the end would give anyone reason to give up on life.
And so they're all dead. Kenny died in season 1 exactly where we would expect him to.
Lee is also a Fable. He survives a couple of bites, great loss of blood and a bullet in the gut.
Clem is also a Fable. She survives a shot near the heart. Thank goodness Arvo didn't get any silver.
--Mirror, Mirror. If you are able, show me this fable.
--Which Fable do you want to see?
[Lee] [Clementine] [Kenny] [Back off]
Georgie got stabbed in his Fookin belly, Kenny was just sliced
It just comes to me that the whole story of TWD happens among fables, because the zombies are fables! They're so popular, being mentioned in so many fictions, movies, stories and comics that they can only be killed by destroying the brain!
yes , sir
Lee: "Clem? You look a bit different..."
Clem: "Nah, you're just seeing things..."
Bigby stabbed Georgie AND cut him, Jane simply slashed him.
