You guys decided together that the worst episode of Season 2 is "Amid The Ruins" (96 of 220 votes, 44%) who lost to slightly worse "In Harm's Way" (61 votes).
We all know the reason why this happend, and yes, i'm talking about Nick's and Sarah's deaths and how much people were pissed about it.
I've rarely seen people who actually enjoyed Ep 4. I'd like to see some real constructive criticism about it and maybe one long post devoted entirely to the defense of Ep 4. I liked Masterpost about Episode 3 (analyzing the details and secondary threads) and I'd be happier if Amid The Ruins' one came into being.
It's just unfair for Episode 4 to be remembered just as the one about Sarah and Nick dying a screwed up deaths.
I have a request - Could somebody write up The Episode 4 Appreciation Thread? Not talking to the user who made one about Episode 3, but to all of you guys. Does anybody enjoyed Amid The Ruins?

I dont see why? This episode is probably third for me this season I mean okay there was Nick but apart from that there was a good amount of development and interaction . In harms way made Carver one dimensional and was way to restrictive
4th episode was better than 1 & 2 imo. Nothing interesting happened in those.
Got to admit, I didn't find it the strongest episode. That said, I appear to be one of the few who didn't have a problem with Nick's death. For me (and I realise it's a subjective personal thing) I got hit really hard when I realised who I was looking at and it probably had more effect than many of the deaths in season 2. It had all happened, all too late and nothing I could do. Personally, I thought it was great. At the very least, it was different to how most other deaths were handled.
Sarah's death on the other hand was over in an instant and nobody seemed all that bothered. It seems more people made a big thing about Luke and Jane getting it on than poor Sarah dying.
It wasn´t the best episode but I really didn´t think it was that bad...
Apart from kenny's return... Ya know... Not that that's a big deal...
Well i hoped that someone i actually liked returned, so i wasnt that excited. I was also a bit angry because he died on first season (or atleast should have on those impossible situations) and writers just decided to resurrect him.
I guess , I'm not saying you have to like it but it was pretty big for a lot of kenny fans (like me)
As soon as i saw Nick was a walker, i knew the episode would be horrible.
All That Remains is my all time favorite Telltale episode. I never fully appreciated until I replayed it and realized how good it was and what it managed to accomplish.
I actually preferred "Amid The Ruins" to "In Harm's Way". I think it's because myself and many others expected Episode 3 to be more of a "hub" episode, with lot's of interaction with characters and a larger emphasize on the 400Days people. Expecting that caused me to be pretty let down. But yeah, I didn't the Amid The Ruins was bad at all.
And because 220 people on a single forum out of over a potential Million Players, doesn't make "Amid The Ruins" OFFICIALLY The Worst episode of Season 2.
It wasn't too bad I guess.![:/ :/](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/confused.png)
It couldn't have done it without the help of Sarita, Nick and Sarah, let's give them a round of applause.
Well yeah, it was, except the hubs it was the worst in all the other aspects.
I enjoyed the episode, but it was really short, and yes Nick's death specifically... while the execution was good... well... you know.
Well for me, they completely ruined Kenny. He wasnt that bad in season 1, but i really started to hate him on season 2.
i enjoyed all of the episodes.
episode 4 was actually a nice supprise. watching the "next time on the walking dead" teaser it seemed like the weakest part. (although that final line was great) but i actually liked it second best. (after the finale)
episode 2 was close.
i only was a little disappointing with episode 3. it was a nice episode. but you could have gotten more out of that premise.
Well, you were surprised at all? I mean something like this is pretty big.
I agree. This episode made me really showed how your choices don't have any meaning anymore in this game plus how sloppy the writing was getting. Ep.1,2,and 3 were the best imo. I wish they had carried out the Carver plot for the whole season.
All the episodes were good, but with this poll one episode in season 2 has to be the worst and in this case it was episode 4.
"annoyed" describes my feelings from that moment better.
It does, here, on TellTale forum.
So a single death makes whole Episode the worst ever?
Let me say that Nick's and Sarah's death never happened in Ep4. How you feel about Amid the Ruins now?
44% is a lot
I love how everyone's excuse as to why it's the worst is Nick's and Sarah's death.
Yeah, most of people focus only on that, it's just annoying
It is really annoying, I honestly can't believe people find those 2 things worse than what happened with 400 days characters.
I agree, and still think we need post in Amid The Ruins' defence, to point out things people missed while bitching over two deaths.
Yup someone definitely needs to do that, I might even do it later today I dunno though![:p :p](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/tongue.png)
Only for the people who voted.
I'd do that, but I'm not the best in writing stuff... Did you read the Episode 3 defence? You can team up with a guy who made it, I'd like to see that.![:) :)](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
4% voted "No Going Back"
WHY?
majority of users voted for Amid the Ruins.
Eh I don't need to team up with anyone, just show everyone the points as to why ep 4 isn't as bad as they make it out to be.
Frozen Luke maybe.
I hope you can convince them.
I probably can't since most of them can't see past Sarah and Nick but it might be worth a shot anyway![:p :p](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/tongue.png)
Well meaningful threads have to be better than Pizza/Ice Cream stuff, right?
episode 4 gets to much hate from people. i like it for attempting to fix some issues with the other episodes. jane could have just been 1 note and we could have learned nothing about her whitch i assumed was gonna happen in episode 3 when she was introduced. but she was given enough characterization for me to like her same with mike.
I'm gonna make it right now, might take a while though![:p :p](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/tongue.png)
you've made some good points
