question about jane

This may be a dumb question, but does anyone think that jane might have started to get feelings for luke?, I know it was just a fling they had and she said it couldn't be like that, but when luke dies, she seems emotional about it, maybe not as emotional as bonnie, but you can tell she was sad, idk maybe it's just me, but I was wondering if anyone else thought this

  • Of course she had feels for Luke :p

  • I think she liked him a little but first it was only a hook up. I think she likes to hide her emotions and doesn't want to feel love or anything, like a strong independent woman don't need no man.

  • I think she liked him but didn´t want a relationship.

  • I think she likes Luke but has no clue had to show, since she's usually alone and independent.

  • Of course you had feels for Luke.

  • They had sex. Luke even said, "She wanted to make a deal..."

No, Jane was a prostitute. Prostitutes remember their clients.

  • I was mimicing luke lol.

  • That actually really came out of nowhere to be honest

Yup she had some feelings for him, though it was just the beginnings of something probably. Think about it; Jane and Luke are really similar--both disappointed about saving somebody that they wanted to (Sarah in the trailer for Luke and Jaime for Jane), both care about Clem like a little sister, both bottle their feelings. Seemed to me that Jane was comforting Luke when he was so upset about Sarah, "You can't let it eat away at you," and then she told the story about Jaime. Also Jane is a very closed individual with lots of walls; it's telling that she shared such a personal distressing story about her past with Clem and Luke, both of whom it's clear she came back later for.

Also she said, "It can't be like that," when talking about getting with Luke because she doesn't want to get attached to anyone, including Clem at that point when she leaves them all. To Jane, getting attached to others means that when they die, there'll just be more pain to get over them, and she can't stand much more pain after Jaime and whoever else she could've lost.

  • Yeah.

    Unfortunately.

  • Very insightful, and very true :)
