If Clem chooses to help Luke, her last words to him are: "It's gonna be alright!"
You know what? It was not

I think Luke was pretty chill about his death.
Though I think it was a bit lukewarm.
And when Jane pulls her out of the water she says "Get...Luke...".
Winstons likes it;
I guess he's reunited with Vanilla Ice.
No, to me the worst part about Luke's death was that he (alongside the entire cabin group) had so much potential as a character but Telltale just HAS to keep killing off the entire cast every fucking time.
What is the story worth if not for its characters? I mean, Clem is awesome, but I don't want a story that is exclusively about her. And no, AJ is just too young to be developed as a character.
Clementine's death aura is starting to get really annoying and stupid, I mean GODDAMIT, everyone was fucking fine almost 2 years into the apocalypse then a little girl shows up and then suddenly they all die out of nowhere in like a 1-2 weeks time span? This might've worked well enough for Season 1, but Season 2 reeeaaally overdid it.
I really hope Telltale starts being more sensible on how to handle their characters properly and stops just killing them off randomly. I for one will not buy Season 3 before watching a let's play on Youtube and evaluate whether or not it is worth the money because I'm done with this insanely poor character management. Don't even get me started on how determinant characters were treated in Season 2 and TWAU.
I hate to say this.....
But I agree fully..
In my opinion, the worst part is that he's most likely a walker.
I thought determinant characters in TWAU were handled well, I mean, they all lived.
Agreed. Telltale should really stop the whole 'let's kill nearly every single person and have it exclusively about Clem.' I don't know if I'm remembering this right, but didn't they say something a little similar like that? That the story is solely about Clementine and everybody is just there to die? [I think it was in one of the playing dead episodes, but I can't remember the exact words.]
But seriously, if they repeat this formula again for Season 3, I'm not bothering buying it. How are we supposed to care about anybody if they all keep dying? Kenny's is the only guy to be lucky enough to survive the two seasons with Clem. They REALLY should have more people in their cast than just Clementine. Look at the TV show, it's has it's ups and downs, but there are more main characters and some of those have survived longer than one season before meeting their end and not to mention played an active part within the story. The longer they're on screen, the more you care about them and seeing those friendships and family bonds grow too are just as good. I think that's what I really liked about the recent season on the TV series, you had a lot of good character development with a bunch of these survivors that contributed to the plot, and hey, not all of them die during it! Seriously Telltale, take notes. What much development can Clem gain if she's just by herself talking to a tree and everybody drops dead every finale or disappears? x_x
For Season 1 of the game, the deaths worked, setting up having the group fall apart and Clem be on her own, it all served a purpose. In Season 2 however, there were a lot of deaths that just weren't needed and felt too much like copying Season 1 again with the group falling apart, rather than do something new. And then there's just the lacking development on many of the characters. We wouldn't know much on Bonnie if it weren't for 400 Days, Mike just slips in during Episode 3 as if he's always been there and we never get any back story on him. And that's the problem with Season 2, the time for learning history on most this cast isn't there. We never know why Carlos is so protective of Sarah or anything about the guy in general, Sarita is just there and need we talk about Luke? The guy was present since episode 1, and only just got some development with him in the last episodes the scene before they offed him with a really poor death. I was grateful for the development, but that was still really bad and way late in the game. I honestly think that's why Nick was such a fan favorite, even to me, because we got his big scoop on what he's been through in Episodes 1 & 2 right from the get go and Nick got the most development out of all the cabin group.
I just really hope next time, Telltale bring back the 'talk/question to the characters in the hubs' like we got a lot of in Season 1, because if they follow this same formula as this recent Season, combined constantly killing every single person for stupid reasons, they've lost me. So I'm going to be doing the same as you. Season 3, I'll just watch all the episodes on a playthrough before making up my mind. If it actually picks itself up and stops fooling around, maybe I'll get it. But if they heck up again, well then at least I didn't waste my money, and honestly I'd rather it be the first option because I love this series and I don't want to be put off it
Yeah but he's a cool walker
Don't get mad at me. If I had my way a lot more people would survive, and if they did die at least it would have been for a good reason. There wouldn't be any deaths like:
Agreed.. like for youuu
