EveryoneClemInTime, you surely can't say that multiplayer or co-op is for kids? Most games nowadays revolve around a mp experience. although TWDG may not be one it doesn't mean that it's an entirely bad idea. and if you read my post before complaining I stated that the characters could be made independent and not link in to the original story. and Lementine? come on if you're gonna have a moan atleast have something good to contribute
It is actually.
I don't understand why every game has to shoehorn in multiplayer and co-op shit just for the kiddies to jump on board. Vi… moredeo games are already more homogenized than they were five years ago, and having a game as focused on narrative as TTWD being some co-op romp fest would really dilute the purpose of the narrative structure in the first place.
Who would be player two? Lementine? If it doesn't work, it doesn't work.

being honest doesn't mean you cant be polite, simply say that you disagree, and state why. Talking like that makes this forum a nice place t… moreo be . But if you talk like an asshole to a newcomer, there is a chance that he is not gonna come back for more.
I've said I appreciate it would take a while and be insanely complicated, but you don't have to put me down just for suggesting an idea? This idea would suck for someone like you perhaps seeing as you'd probably have no mates to play it with...
you surely can't say that multiplayer or co-op is for kids?
Absolutely not, I like a lot of co-op gaming experiences. Not so much competitive MP, but that's cause I'm terrible at most of 'em. The problem with MP is that company executives are putting more emphasis on it as the core of the gaming experience.
But MP games like Battlefield and Call of Duty are very popular with young children, and we're seeing it happen to more franchises. Dead Space 3 had an abysmal multiplayer structure, as did Mass Effect 3, as did Spec Ops... And there are a lot more out of touch game designers shoehorning a sub-par co-op or multiplayer experience in their game because it's popular with young kids.
And saying a game structured like The Walking Dead should include a co-op mode? Why? What will that do to improve the original game and add to it's core design? Nothing, absolutely nothing.
and Lementine?
Yeah, it was a joke. Like Mario and Luigi. Clementine and Lementine.
