If Telltake HAD to pick a cannon ending, who would you think it'd be?
Let me say I doubt they would pick one, I'm saying "What if?" they did.
I personally think it'd be the Alone ending, where she shoots Kenny and leaves Jane. It just feels so right to me. Clem and AJ are free.

The most picked ending. Which is inviting the family in at Howe's. Although I don't agree with this ending being canon though.

she'll probably end up alone somehow no matter what ending, as kenny/jane are determinant. they might not die though, just not appear in the episodes for some reason, i just dont want them to pull an omid in s3.
Whichever one takes the story in the most interesting direction.

Following the laws of good storytelling it would have to be staying at Wellington because It's what episode 1 set as the main goal of the game.
I don't know what the "canon" ending would be, because I think Telltale tried to make us Kill Kenny, But going to Wellington has been a talked about thing since Episode 1 S2 so Idk if TT chose a Canon ending which one would it be...
Making a Cannon Ending would be the worst thing for TellTale to do. Going your choices matter ! And then forcing people to play and ending they didnt get.
All endings are canon. Personally, I'm hoping to have season 3 without Clementine, which would make things easier for Telltale, and also would not kill off Jane/ Kenny, and would not make all endings merge on one storyline.

I love the alone ending. It's the only one I'd go with. You know, after I let Kenny kill Jane.
Such an illogical ending, makes Clem look like an idiot.

Well, technically, they're all canon. They're in the game. But yeah, I'd rather that the endings just all tie up.
If I had to pick I would say Alone. Its the most fair.

The best thing to do is make Clementine wake up and realize season 2 was all a dream. Then we can disregard the nightmare that was Season 2 as non-canon. lol

I think if they wish to continue Season 3 with Clem, and they have to choose a cannon ending, it will be the Alone ending. It will be the easiest for TellTale and for people who have not yet played the series or whom don't have a save file to import.
It just seems right for the sake of Season 3. Despite what I choose as my ending.
Like most, I don't think they should or would pick a canon ending especially as, in this thread, we're all likely just to pick the ending that made sense to us first (for me it was the alone ending).
But because I'm so utterly bored with the KvJ stuff that is still coming through in so many threads, I think what I'd like is that no matter who we end up with, the opening sequence kills off the remaining determinate character in the silliest way possible. If it's Kenny, he stands on a rake leaving Wellington, it hits him in the face, he falls back into a tub of water, slips as he gets up and it goes on from there. If Jane, she opens a box of supplies in Howe's, a spider comes out and she freaks out and stands on a rake and it continues like Kenny's death. Get it out of the way in the opening moments, we'll all have a good laugh and move on with our lives.
But yeah, I don't think Telltale will pick a canon ending. I think they'd have an angry mob with pitchforks and torches at their door.

Alone. All alone. The Curse of Clementine enacts its final act of vengeance, this time on Kenny/Jane. Somehow, Clem ends up in Wellington and she becomes the leader with Christa and Ghost Lee and Luke and they all live happily ever after.
I think their canon ending would be Wellington. Gavin Hammon's canon ending, though would be Alone, and it would happen this way: Kenny stabs Jane, and then Clem shoots Kenny.
AJ immunity because rebecca was already dying and the virus was spreading before he was born.... he saves clem and stops the Z-A but gets fatally wounded and dies after a few minutes and gets a huge statue on the biggest square in the new capital of the world and gets into history books and will be spoken about in centuries to come....
Clerm is pregnant in seas 12 the final season and the kids name will be Alvin Junior the Second
