If Telltake HAD to pick a cannon ending, who would you think it'd be?

  • I loved the alone ending so I'll go with that one :D

Not worse than Clementine throwing her only weapon of defense on the ground because some random person said so, THAT makes Clem look like an idiot.

Such an illogical ending, makes Clem look like an idiot.

  • If they had to pick a single canon ending, it should probably be whichever was the most popular choice. In this case, it's the one with Clem, Jane and the family.

Considering how it was the most popular, it would please the most people.

  • So you would keep you gun and get shoot. Wow.

  • I say, stay with to the very end.

  • Clementine Alone.

  • How come at the end it's sometimes blurs the walkers but sometimes it doesn't?

  • Well, when that random person is also pointing a gun at her and is in cover behind steel walls with a good vantage point...

Maybe not such a bad idea to do what the woman says in that situation, eh?

I just hate the fact that we are actually ending up with that fucking baby. I was so scared of that happening from the beginning when I realised the cbin group was our new group. Hated rebecca for being fucking pregnant in a world like that and I'm NOT gonna act responsible to that little shit. But STILL IN SOME STUPID FUCKING WAY WE DID END UP WITH THAT SHIT ANYWAY. I wanted NOTHING to do with that baby, from the very beginning.

Why were we not able to fucking choose to care about the fucker or not?

Edit; I mean, who wants to take care of a baby in that world :D!!! It's so amazingly stupid!

  • I'd say the stay at Wellington ending because it would give them the opportunity to stage next season around Wellington and maybe the story could deal with the conflicts that arise inside and maybe even a war with another community. Plus, we could give the baby to a family that will take care of him so that Clem doesn't have to do it on her own.

But the alone ending would be interesting too because I wonder how Clem will manage to keep the baby safe while trying to survive on her own. And they could chose to take the story anywhere they want.

  • I'm just pointing out that Clem_Is_Awesome is just shitting on other endings that isn't his "perfect ending" I admit it isn't really idiotic but compared to what he said about Clem looking like an idiot in the alone ending it was pretty idiotic.

  • Alone ending is the one that would probably make the fanbase most happy if it was canon. That way Jane-haters weren't stuck with her and Kenny-haters aren't stuck with him.

  • no it doesn't.

Yes it does, after 2 years of surviving she's just gonna walk into a herd because it already worked twice? Surviving is about avoiding danger, she could have easily walked around the herd. But who cares anyways those 2 endings are not supposed to make sense because they were made at the last minute of the episode's development.

It makes her look like a badass.

Looking badass can get you killed, see Carl.

It's not like she can't put her hand over his mouth.

    and suffocate him?

And last time I checked, AJ being with Clementine calmed him down.

Yeah it happened once or twice but that's not how babies work, it can cry at any time.

ummmmmmmmm no it doesn't. It makes her look like a badass. It's not like she can't put her hand over his mouth. And last time I checked, AJ being with Clementine calmed him down.

So what you're saying is it would have been smarter to pull out her gun and try to land a headshot from this far?

  • Nope, I'm saying it would have been smarter to keep it concealed, in her pocket. If Wellington is as nice and good as they say, I'm sure they would understand Clementine concealing it instead of revealing it.

  • 400 days was great, and lacked Clem and Lee, so I think a Clem-less season 3 could work.

Telltale's TWD without Clem is like... Deviled Eggs WITHOUT EGGS

  • I'm pretty sure it's easiest to push every ending into Wellington. Time passes, shit gets harder - everyone ends up there in the end. Determinant characters are written out in the interim.

But I'm pretty sure they wrote themselves into a corner on this one. I doubt Clem's going to show up for more than a cameo past this point.

She clearly could fucking not. Look back at a video of it, look how wide it stretched. The only option was to go through it.

Looking badass can get you killed

Carl didn't walk through a herd. See Clementine.

    and suffocate him?

We can breath through our noses for a goddamn reason. I didn't say "she can block all holes for breathing and basically kill him lol why not".

Yeah it happened once or twice but that's not how babies work, it can cry at any time.

You'd be surprised. You can't say "That's not how babies work", considering babies work differently to each other. HE clearly takes an interest to Clementine. HE calms down when he's in her arms. HE. Not all babies. HE.

no it doesn't. Yes it does, after 2 years of surviving she's just gonna walk into a herd because it already worked twice? Surviving

  • Edith/Some guard could have shot her if she didn't. I'm sure that Kenny picks it up even if you leave with him or not.

  • Although you're being safe, once you enter Wellington, they'd see it and take it from you.

AJ immunity because rebecca was already dying and the virus was spreading before he was born.... he saves clem and stops the Z-A but gets fa

  • That's because we spent 15 minutes with each character, had we spent an entire episode with them each it would have been great.

  • Yeah? How do you know ? he's like 3 days old and all we know is that he is rebecca's son and the father is moast likely looking at AJ's skincolour Alvin.
Because half white baby's look caucasian at birth

    He's not immune.

  • Better clean it up then, or else we get the walker unions after us

waaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh..... i cut myself and theres blood on the walkers face! waaaaaaaahhhh

A game can be a good story without accomplishing the main goal.

For example, the Last of Us doesn't accomplish what Tess, Joel and Ellie set out to do, and that game was great.

The Iliad is one of thew most highly regarded pieces of literature in existence, and they never take Troy in it, nor is Achilles' death described.

Following the laws of good storytelling it would have to be staying at Wellington because It's what episode 1 set as the main goal of the game.

  • The one with omid and lee and luke? Yeah I love that one.

  • I never liked molly. She's a girl , so what? She striked me as someone who would leave when times got tough.

  • Yeah I guess. You forgot ben btw

  • This is my canon ending :p

Yep, the 2 Wellington endings were epic, and the one where she enters Wellington closes the story nicely.

I found the Wellington ending where she doesn't enter to be more memorable, though.
