People do horrible things throughout history because they don't have the courage to act. I understand this concept is hard for some people to understand, but i am glad not everyone is so obtuse.
WHAT?! Who's being flippant about the subject of sexual assault?
If you are right about it being a grievously serious matter, which you a… morere, then the accusation you have levelled that people (and I can't help but feel that was targeted at me since I brought the subject up.) are taking the entire concept of rape lightly is equally not to be taken lightly. I've got half a mind to go all research paper on your ass.
That was a damned cruel thing to imply, and you haven't heard the last of it.from me. I'll be posting the thing here too, but you can expect the longest private message in history in a week or three. I'm talking CHAPTERS, son. Not to prove you wrong, you think whatever you want. But I'll be damned if you get to say I base my assertion on nothing, and then go on to use that as a jumping off point to accuse of me of being all Pollyanna about the entire gruesome concept in general.
I take it lightly when that happens to people? How dare you? Fuck you, asshole!
Honestly I would have let him come along , in mine he didnt hit clem ever because she didnt act like an idiot.
That said I didnt care at all when it died he was still a twat and Jane made a quick decision that ultimatley helped the group escape, Troy could have shot any of them
The only person I've seen mention anything about this is the OP, and that was in passing.
Troy raped Jane.
It was much more blatantly … moresuggested in some dialogue that didn't make the final version, but all the subtext was still there. I picked up on it in my first playthrough, before I had confirmed my suspicions with unused files. I was leaning into some implications that that is what had happened, and then the instant Jane had the opportunity she shot him right in the dick without hesitation. That was the clincher. It wasn't barbaric sadism on Jane's part. It was a statement.

That is conjecture. The only interaction we witness between them is right before the horde makes it to the camp, and during that conversation, the only thing that is implied is that Jane had been offering him sex in order to "get out", which Troy thought she meant the pen. Just because Troy is an asshole and seems like he is capable of rape, doesn't mean he actually did it.

I remember people thinking that he would have turned out to secretly have regrets about Carver's community, back when he was silent in Episode 2. Makes me wonder if there was a characterization change between episodes.

What unused files? Because I have the Speech Extractor and didn't see any dialogue of his that would indicate this.
I didn't see any either, although I heard Troy was much worse in Ep 3 according to his VA.
Well I been known to self medicate.
I dont think they are rapist, but Nate hes my avatar nemesis and Troy hes an asshole. So, rapist or not, I still hate them.
I respect that.

If you look at the early episode 2 and 3 trailer, Troy seems to have some sympathy for Clementine.

He gave a weird vide when he said "Everything come out alright girls?"
People keep categorizing this poor guy.
"You little shit! You're not suposed to be in here!" - Fuck you Troy!
"Aggrh! You shot my dick off!" - Fuck you Troy!
"Everything come out right girls?" - Fuck you Troy!
"I jus-" FUCK YOU TROY
