We are a product of our environment, and influenced by our surroundings. I tend to think of how people reacted in WW2, in Germany. I doubt every person in Germany agreed with Hitlers plan, but couldn't say anything out of fear of being killed themselves, there was a attempt on his life.
Check out this study, i find it pretty interesting and it explains a lot of why Troy behaved the way he did. Stanford Prision Experiment
There's black and white to everybody. That's the whole theme of The Walking Dead story--no character is 100% good and no character is 100% bad. Some people are pushed towards the dark end more than they'd like to be though.
I feel like the story was cut short, and ended abruptly. They don't have to keep the # of episodes to five, we must give TTG the permission to expand the # of episodes to eight.
I think next time they should have one guy write the entire thing from start to end, and don't change it mid season because you want to certain fans happy.
I think Season 2 started getting bad post A House Divided. Kenny's return was done well as we could see his mental state was questionable (c… morealling Clem Duck and making strange jokes). I would have handled his character like this: After his beatdown by Carver, he doesn't wake up. From there the group decides they have to leave him behind (like Luke was saying) if they want to get out and away from Carver. From there, we don't know if Kenny is alive or dead, making him unknown. I'd sum up the season like this.
All That Remains eliminated Omid and Christa, two worthwhile main characters in Season 1 Ep 3, 4 and 5 in a matter of 5 minutes. We meet a group who have questionable morals. We like some of them (Luke, Pete, Alvin) but hate others (Nick, Carlos, Rebecca).
A House Divided saw Carlos and Rebecca do complete 180's in terms of character. However, our choices have a very large impact on the narrative. We can potentially save or kill Nic… [view original content]
Positive: Lee Clem Kenny Carley/Doug Christa Omid Lilly
Negative: Arvo and crew Jane Larry the St Johns Hershel(the way he talks about lee asking clem if she knew him and doubting him most of the time, my opinion) Mike/Bonnie look like they can't be bothered about helping to much Carver of course and the stranger
Season 2 Clementine is about the only character I'm absolutely biased to like, I liked her in season 1 but she served mostly as a moral compass and while I did care for her it wasn't until Season 2 that I got a real huge bias towards her character, why? If I'm honest because I have a pretty high opinion of myself and Season 2 Clementine reminds me of how I was at that age, specially if you go for cynical/edgy Clem but do the right thing, seriously I felt like I was playing as myself when I was 11-14 as I played through Season 2 and since I know I turned out to be a good guy I was pretty confident that she would too, in any case even though I like Season 1 more my gigantic bias towards Clementine in Season 2 kinda makes me enjoy it more than Season 1...
Kenny sacrificed himself for Clem a couple of hours ago and almost got beaten to death by Carver for this. Shortly after that, the love of his life is dieing a horrifying death due to Clem's stupid but nonetheless well-meant try to cut Sarita's arm off. Kenny then gets mad and angry at Clementine and blames her for this mistake, but afterwards he apologizes for that.
That's the reason why you decided to dislike Kenny?
No I don't think it's ridiculous to hate him over that. Did Lee go crazy as fuck when he saw his brother die? When he found out his parent's… more die? No he didn't, everyone has lost people and he isn't a special case. Also remember that I'm one of the people who sided with Kenny for the entirety of season 1, and was pretty much a fanboy of his at one point, but what he did crossed the line and that was when I was pretty much over with Ken.
Kenny sacrificed himself for Clem a couple of hours ago and almost got beaten to death by Carver for this
You forget that he was pretty much forcing Clem to take the radio with her, meaning he should take the fault either way, sure what he did was nice but tons of people have sacrificed for Clem. Lee, Christa, Pete the list can go on and on.
the love of his life is dieing a horrifying death due to Clem's stupid but nonetheless well-meant try to cut Sarita's arm off
I didn't cut her arm off, he yelled at me anyway.
but afterwards he apologizes for that.
Hey it's like he says, just because he's "sorry" doesn't mean it's going to magically go away. He should take his own advice.
Also, you seem to ignore all the horrible things he's done, is it because he's Kenny that all those things can just be unlooked at and all the good deeds he's done should be glorified? Because it seems that's what you're trying to show me.
So let me get this straight:

Kenny is a flawed man and made many mistakes. I never said anything differently. But you are trying to compare apples and pears here. There is a difference between Kenny being mad at Clem after she made a terrible mistake that lead to Sarita's death(that's determinated) and you not accepting Kenny's apology for this incident.

When does she say that? I wasn't mean to Rebecca but I really didn't like her so I don't remember exactly what I did with her since I was trying to be nice but really didn't want to, in any case I never heard that line in any of my 6 playthroughs, though I'll admit that in the choices that didn't seem all that important I tended to repeat myself.
Positive : Luke Jane and Rebecca. I felt Jane and Luke's personalities were the most relatable and I really liked how those characters grew … moreand developed and really made me care for them thus making them my favorite characters of S2 by far. Rebecca was a bitch in Episode 1 but she grew on me over the season. Over this season I really liked how her relationship with my Clem changed. From enemies to Rebecca calling her "My favorite little person in the world." She was easily my 3rd favorite character this season.

I only stole them once and I don't think I gave them to anyone because I forgot, seems really wrong to steal that, even though I didn't believe Arvo at all the first time I couldn't steal, all the other times, well it's really hard to steal and I did it once so I didn't have to do it again, right?
Kenny - Loved him from the start. I remember when i played it episode 1 without a season pass and i didn't know the game was branched into 5 episodes with 2-3 month releases, so i played episode 1 about 50 times before episode 2 came out Kenny kept growing on me. I do feel like Lee was an strong independant character, but Kenny and Lee together was a great pairing and even though there were times where it got hairy, they always were sincere to each other and that's something you can't buy, real honest friendship.
Ben - Because Episode 3 of Season 1 is my favourite out of every episode, it really gave me a chance to get to know Ben a lot more, didn't care so much in episode 2 1 because he was hardly in it and 2: i figured he'd die early on but yes, Ben wasn't the brightest bulb and did fuck a lot of stuff up but i always believed he really did want to help and become stronger. It's just a shame he was killed off because it would've been interesting seeing him evolve.
Nick - Had a rough life, can relate, hoped he wouldn't die because i enjoyed his character. Felt let down on his death considering that it felt cheap. Ben was a determinant character and he got 2 pretty good deaths where as Nick is just stuck in a fence being attacked off screen.
Chuck - I didn't like him that much when Episode 3-4 were still fresh but later on i came to liking the guy. He was brutal when talking but honest which is something i admire. He gave Lee some great advice for him and to pass to Clem and gave his life to helping the group.
Sam - i love animals. And the fact that they had a dog was a nice touch, it's just a pity that they killed him off. A dog with the group would've had more reactions from fans being with them in their journey.
Negative
Luke - Never bought into the whole fan girl "his cute" bullshit. The guy always liked to say he went into it with the best intentions, but was really all about himself. I thought that telltale making him choose sex over the importance of the group was a dig to try and get fans to hate himand have a Kenny vs Luke finale, but then when they killed him off early it seemed pointless. But never liked him and him choosing self pleasure over the group proved he was an idiot. H ecan say it was a mistake all he wants, he was never thinking of rebecca or the baby when he was getting a fuck.
Arvo - People like to pick shit on Ben for fucking things up, what about this kid? Lies to Clem first off, then tries to steal from them and causes a gunfight to start with Luke getting shot and pretty much causing the guys death, then he shoots Clementine, yet people on here will turn on anyone who physically hurt Clementine yet this punk shoots her and people still like him? There's no excuse for that.
Jane - Again, another liar (something i hate) Starts of cool and i liked her personality but lying to Kenny and Clem to start a fight which results in the death of either her or Kenny? She's just a typical woman who wants to be in control, and when she isn't, she'll start fights to get her way.

I really dislike Omid, he made fun of Lee's arm, and that insult will never be FORGIVEN!

Aaaand he's dead.

Lol it was good! Will comment there later.
You should! If you want to! I would love to read it. And thank you, again.
Thanks, and you're welcome.

Negative: Jane, Lily, Tavia
Lee and Clementine should be obvious, so I'm not including them.

Anyway, whatever floats your boat.
I have a positive bias towards Nick from the game and Carl from the show.

If you steal pills from Arvo and give them to Rebecca before you go see Mike and Bonnie, she'll say that line.
