I don't know. I'd say that this is a closer match than the "Kenny or AJ?" and "Jane or AJ?" threads. Whereas both Jane and Kenny have done immoral things, an adorable puppy is completely innocent just like AJ. They also have roughly equal intelligence, are both thought to be cute things that need our protection, but are also both potentially dangerous things if they decide to bark/cry at the wrong time. AJ has the added benefit of being human, but a puppy is more self-sufficient and useful in helping Clem to survive, but other than that, they're pretty similar.
Puppy, because I'm terrible with babies and at least with a puppy, it'll grow up faster and I can use the guy for hunting squirrels or something; cute and practical.
damn it i love animals and i believe that humans deserve the shit plate that they are given ( if a ZA happened) but not really everyone, so i hate to see animals suffer and im sure id safe an animal first than a human, i feel far more sympathy for animals, but yet again my human side of me, that i dont think i have much cuz im an asshole, would feel for the baby. i probably go on a suicide mission trying to save both
