AJ's destiny
Frankly, I dont see Clem nursin AJ more then 1 episode next season. Everything beyond that would be hopelessly dull. I wasnt very fond to find out that Clem was only main protagonist of Season 2. It was bold move, but too bold move from my opinion and this weak concept of kid being lead resulted that Season 2 writing looking average at the best.
I think babysitting AJ for whole Season 3 would be even worst move. No way any writer, how good he is, could cope with something like that. That story doesnt have potential for more then 1 episode.
I see 3 possible solutions:
Kill off AJ at the end of episode 1/beginning of episode 2
Transfer nursing to some new char at the end of episode 1/beginning of episode 2
Huuuge time jump (7-10 years) which will make AJ get character and Clem become adult (mimicing concept of Season 1)

Again, a huge timeskip won't happen.
Yeah I know "because of comics". But this will probably be last season of game so who will really care out of comic readers how game ended in few years when something different happens there?
If this happens, okay for me.
I hope AJ don't die, I'm tired of this '' Every Baby die on TWD ''. I want him to live... I'm pretty sure of Telltale have a way.
Because the game is Cannon to the comics so they cant skip over 2 years. What if they skipped 7 years but when the comics come to a end everything was cured and it happened before 7 years.
So what? They will cancel comics if game isnt cannon anymore?
Plus, no one knows for sure cannon will be broken if game times jump comics. Status quo of comics didnt changed in over 130 issues. Maybe it will never change.
Beside, you have non-cannon stuff in comics itself: for instance, issue 75 with non-cannon death of Glenn, 25 issues before his real death in issue 100.
How can you know it will be the last season? Excluding this community - beacuse people love pointing out errors and nitpicking at details - it wouldn't be the smartest idea TT can came up with (16 months skip wasn't really a winner). And since they have used the existing universe, I imagine they must follow the rules that prevail in it.
Sam & Max, telltales most successful series so far, has 3 seasons. Its pretty safe bet to presume WD will not go more then 3 season in a company that never produced more then 3 seasons game.
TellTale wants to keep it cannon. It would be really stupid if they did a 7 year time skip but Robert Kirkman ended the comics before the 7 years and it was ending by the zombies ending.
Maybe. We'll see.
It would be even more stupid to pay to play whole 6 episodes of babysiting. Or watch Telltale kill another baby. Or just transfer baby to some irrelevant new character. Examples of poor writing and bad planing.
It would be SO weird having a 1 year old walking around so they will prolly just do a few months timeskip, AJ must not walk yet.
I think having zombies when there shouldnt be zombies is more stupid to be honest
Or maybe Clem won't be the protag and it won't even be an issue gasp
That's a right I went there
Who really cares if zombie invasion lasted 5 years 8 moths 2 days or 7 years 1 months 3 days? Its kind of minor and very very irrelevant detail. All chars are different. Ok, there were some cameos of irrelevant killed off characters from comics like Glenn which left no impact whatsoever. But like 99% of all is different or better to say copied from comics and named otherwise in game. Game is just a copy of comics, or echo of comics, which is stated to have cannon to the comics. But that cannon is a lie. They just copy things from Kirkman. Cannon of game to the comics doesnt really have sense because they are really two different universes, original and echo universe by the nature of making of this game.
Pretty sure the fans care
Im pretty sure they really dont. They just claim they care but its not honest. Its for bragging who is larger fan. Its totally fake.
Im sure not a single fan ever thorn out those non-cannon pages from issue 75 of comics. Or even annoyed with Kirkman for doing those.
Lets face it fans are not problem. Or non-cannon. Fans will just swallow anything. Its non-fans which opinion really matters. And if story sucks (like 6 episode of babysitting) they will not buy game.
