You can't have his presence (or lack thereof) actually affect her now can you? That'd be absolutely insane, there's no way Telltale would ever do something that crazy (please I am begging you guys to make this choice truly worth it in the third season)
But he has lost everything...Clem and the Baby...There is no hope for him and therefore when Kenny has no reason to live he gets depressed...Probably would do suicide.
He'd be miserable, but alive. He definitely has more of a fighting chance than Clem.
To be frank, abandoning Wellington - especially when it's against a friend's wishes - is just not a pragmatic idea for a little girl or a baby. Better to take shelter when the opportunity arises rather than continually deprive yourself of it.

He did but that was when he had stuff to lose, people to care about.
If you left Kenny after he killed Jane then he was a broken man, losing everything he wanted to protect because of his reckless ways.
if you left into Wellington then he had nothing left to protect, his job was done and he had no other purpose.
Never thought of it that way. I think that would somehow affect the degree on how he dies. If you leave him at the stop, he'll commit suicide. Perhaps if you depart from him at Wellington, he'll just die happily in snow, sleeping.

Remember the campfire scene in Episode 1? Clem and Christa were miserable after spending a year on their own. Now replace a depressed Christa with an irrational, one-eyed guy with severe anger problems, and compound that with the fact that Clementine has just stupidly rejected AJ's best hope of survival in order to remain miserable.
The happy-go-lucky tone of this ending belies the slow, painful misery that awaits Clem. And the irony is that you put AJ in danger against Kenny's wishes.

Wow, such a cynic. First of all, Kenny and Christa are very different people. I get the feeling Christa felt obligated to look after Clem while Kenny sees her as family. Second, the baby is already born so they do t have to worry about birth or miscarriages. Lastly, Kenny is more competent than Christa. Kenny wouldn't have abandoned Clem to bang in the restroom next door, and he would have been able to handle the scavengers.

knowing Kenny, his dumbself, would probably try to charge into a armed group of men and think that he can handle them single handed, like the Saint John incident with Duck or the time in the Howe's truck.Come on, he really believed that he could take out the Howe's warehouse unarmed. He seems more wreck less, than competent.
But,yeah, I did noticed that Christa sees Clementine as some-kind of obligation. Its strange that Clem finds her, not the other way around. Also, why was Clem always distanced in Season2 Episode 1, even before the Omid death.

And how did the baby die? You seriously think AJ is any better off? Nobody is safe out in the wilderness.
Then again, Clementine pretty much murders him in the ending where she's alone by covering him with rotten guts and walking right into a horde of cannibalistic corpses.
I'm pointing out that Season 2 isn't actually that 'cynical', despite pretensions to the contrary.
We don't get any development or insight into Clem and Christa's relationship, but you can infer that their bond must have been damn strong if they were together for over a year. Christa kept Clem alive that long by hiding, staying quiet, and not trusting anyone.
Kenny'd get into stupid fights and get his suicidal ass killed in the process. And now that Clem and the baby have nobody else to hold him back, and since they just moronically rejected the single best possibility of safety for themselves - the same goal that Christa and Kenny had been obsessing over ever since the Season began - you shouldn't be surprised if Kenny and Clem end up getting their throats slit one morning.

Yeah, that's why we should abandon him.
An 11 year old girl with a baby on the other hand will do just fine without him huh?
Yep.
She does, in the alone ending.
Of course she will, because he's determinant.

He's a tough guy.
Why not? She survived 9 Days with AJ and herself.
Clementine is smart.
Physically yes. But it looks like Kenny doesn't do very well with 'alone.'
Plot hole.
Proof?
Its not a plot hole its TTG magic.
TTG magic.

yeah I thought that ending didn't make sense ,too, especially, when you have a baby.
Thats not his style. >:(
At this point, yes it is.
In season 1 episode 5, Kenny reflected on how suicide was bad.
Look at all none of this baiting potential...

I can just imagine Kenny walking into a pile of snow and dying...Oh...I'm sad now...
I think both ways he will kill himself.
Because it's not like other human beings exist.
Thats why when you leave with him he isnt upset about you not staying, he is a bit, but he is also glad he gets to look out for Clem and AJ.
He still has purpose in that ending.

They were miserable because of the dead baby, they have AJ now.
I mean.... He's got his hand....
