What was your Favorite Choice in The Game?

My favorite was the option to tell larry to continue eating mark. I laughed so hard during recording.

It's so hard to pick just one, so I'll just list some of mine in no particular order:

    1. Staying to watch Carver die.
    2. Leaving Lilly behind.
    3. Helping Kenny kill Larry.
    4. High fiving Duck (Duck thinks you are incredibly awesome).
    5. Hug Kenny.
    6. Telling Jane, "You're fucking crazy." (Fuck it, any option where Clementine curses).
    7. Lee: "What a crappy day." Clem: "The crappiest." (again, Clementine cursing).
    8. Having Clementine drink with Nick and/or Jane.
  • Clem drinking with Jane?

Clearly the drink with Nick option is superior.

  • You got mine first. Lol. Staying to watch that shit stain get his bitch ass face crushed in was so incredibly satisfying.

  • Choosing whether or not to rob Arvo, even though it doesn't amount to much, it's really well built up to, with positives and negatives to both sides.

  • I went with Pete in my playthrough, so I didn't get that. However, I did say calling Jane fucking crazy even though I let Kenny kill her, so you do have a point. I guess I'll change it.

  • That's what happens if you mess with Clem and Kenny.

  • I'm not either. I liked Carver and i sided with him, in the end, i didn't watch him die.

I guess I'm not part of everyone...

  • I mean, I didn't like him, but I didn't hate him. I wanted him to live, but that's just me being the "Don't kill people" guy. lol

    1. Leaving Ben to die. EASILY! The bumbling incompetence of this buffoon steadily progressed each episode. Sweet release.
    2. Not giving Sarah a hand. I never wanted to be her friend or help her with anything at anytime. Dead-weight.
    3. Saving Carley. She was one of the best characters of the series and I enjoyed the conversations we had.
    4. Telling Kenny he's not my dad. He kept trying to create surrogate family members (Sarita, Clem, Alvin Jr.) after his real family died, so it was long overdue for Clem to remind him of his place. (this takes place at the power station after he sees you drinking rum)
    5. Watching Carver get his face smashed in. He punched little Clem just for giving him the eyes and was generally a menace. See ya!
    6. Choosing the star as the Christmas tree ornament just to spite Sarah.
    7. Leaving Duck Hanging. I never liked you. You don't have the permission to slap my palm.
  • You, ma'am/sir, are evil.

  • Help Sarah? The girl who had the brain of a 5 year old; who got slapped because she kept interrupting a murdering psycho-leader because she wanted to talk about nap time; who wasn't together enough to even attempt to get away from walkers when trapped in a trailer for hours with ample opportunity to escape. No, I won't wait around and risk my life for that lump. I did take screenshots though, and they were glorious. muhaahaha

Oh. Brain of a five year old. Hahaha, you're not getting out of this one.

A 15 year old sheltered girl, with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and what looks like to be some sort of anxiety, apparently has the brain of a five year old? If you had a daughter who saw her father be murdered, and you took her to a therapist who said this: "She's currently in a state of depression and seems to be showing symptoms of PTSD.", would you say "No, she just has the brain of a five year old and is clearly dumb." No, you wouldn't, would you?

I fucking love how insensitive people can be, especially them being biased on the matter. Like, sweetie, it's not that hard to empathize. I'm sure you'd scream out in terror if you just saw your father - or any loved/cared one - ripped to shreds by FLESH EATING WALKING CORPSES.

No, I won't wait around and risk my life for that lump.

Okay, but do you fucking remember her saving your life and the risk of infection in your arm by going against her father, and everyone who was opposing Clementine for that matter, to give you Peroxide? Remember how in return all she wanted was to be your friend? I'm sure that's a good ass deal, considering you don't even need to waste anything on her like she did you.

But you're just going to shrug all this off and continue hating on a disabled girl, right? Because fuck Sarah's innocence. Let's just mistake it for ignorance.

  • Dude, she was a pain in the butt. I didn't want her dragging me down and so was relieved when she died, that's all.

  • Okay, but you weren't saying that before, were you? And how was she a pain in the butt? She wasn't even dragging you down, it only seems like Jane's words have gotten to you. You know, Jane who let her own sister die? Obviously, according to Jane, if Sarah could be saved, she wouldn't have wanted it only because HER sister wasn't.

  • Oh, like Kenny? He's a detriment, right? Sarah isn't going to actively stab someone, dude. Sarah is the complete opposite of detriment. It sounds like you don't even know what it means. Did you just use it off one of Carley's lines in Episode 3?

  • Sarah can barely function in a normal world never mind a zombie apocalypse. She would have dried up resources faster without providing any benefits, and likely do something stupid in the process too (like running away from Howe's without direction and having a function person, Luke, chase after her and be needlessly put in danger) -- that is detrimental to the group. Oh, and I shot Kenny. His hotheadedness was a detriment too!

Oh, I'm sorry? When did we get to see her function and react to civilization? Oh yeah, never.

She would have dried up resources faster without providing any benefits

Because she's not teachable? So, what if Clementine was never taught how to use a gun? What if she developed anxiety over it? What if all this stuff started to happen to her? "Awh, poor baby." Not "Fucking moron, can't even do anything lol."

and likely do something stupid in the process too (like running away from Howe's without direction and having a function person, Luke, chase after her and be needlessly put in danger)

She screamed at witnessed her father die. What was she supposed to do? Stand there and get eaten? She was smart enough to run, and she did. That's the smartest thing she could have done. And she did it. And don't blame Luke's morals and integrity to save a teenaged girl on god knows whatever. Like you said, he's a fully functioning person. He didn't get bit, did he? He was fine. He's a strong guy, and all he wanted to do was save Sarah.

  • Picking up a random 9 year old kid is detrimental to your survival chances too, yeah. I wouldn't have done it if given the choice, just like I wouldn't have kept the baby either. But, plot.

What was she supposed to do? Stand there and get eaten? She was smart enough to run, and she did.

The only thing she was supposed to do was keep quiet and walk. She failed at both of those things.

  • I think giving the death glare to Nick in Episode 1 was one of my more memorable and hilarious moments.

  • Giving shit to the stranger. I don't know why so many people tried to be nice to him. Even if you didn't steal, he still acts like a idiot and causes the deaths of Ben, losing Kenny and Lee.
But the best choice is when his giving his life story about what happened to his family

    • Lee : "You fucked up".
    • Lee: "I'm bitten, and i'm going to make sure you end up the same way"/
  • Yeah, Because it's Carlos' fault for getting shot and screaming because of the pain of getting shot.

    • one for each episode.
    • Save Doug
    • Kill the cannibals
    • Take care of Duck for Kenny
    • Bring Clem to Crawford
    • Ask Clem to leave me
    • Help Christa
    • Sit with Kenny
    • Watch Carver die
    • Ask Jane to save Sarah
    • Stay with Kenny
  • He shouldn't have been in that random spot where Carver Goon #3 was spraying his gun blindly!
