Norman Reedus (when asked about the mid-season finale) said this:
I sat on an apple box with my head between my legs and just balled f… moreor an hour. I really wanted to not tear up during the scene. I wanted to be like I wasted every tear in my body before we started shooting so I just sat there and cried and cried and cried. He's one of those characters where they keep dangling a carrot in front of him and he keeps reaching for it but the carrot falls in the mud right before he's about to get it."
So yep, Carol's gonna die.
If Gimple knows the smart decision in terms of what is good writing and what isn't, he would take out Carol. If he doesn't, he would take ou… moret Beth. Beth's death is way too predictable, people have been saying she's going to die since season 2. It would be just plain stupid to kill her off the minute she becomes a main character and gets some character development. Carol's arc has been going on since season 1, and frankly, I think her transformation/development is complete. Carol sacrificing herself for the group/Beth would be a fantastic finale for her character, and it would shock the audience more than killing Beth would imo.
My prediction of lesser characters that may die would be Edwards, Dawn, Tyreese, and possibly Noah.
I don't think so. Carol's transformation arc has been going on since season 1, she has gone from meek, cowardly, frightened housewife, to stoic, strong, badass survivor. Story-wise, everything came to an end when she killed Lizzie after the death of Mika, both girls whom reminded her of Sophia. She's clearly withdrawn from the group and is no longer sure if she likes what she has become in the ZA., what the ZA has made her do. For Carol to sacrifice herself would hit the group, and the audience, a lot harder than any other death would at this point. To pass up this opportunity, and continue to push more angst/hardship on her character would be an injustice to all of her previous character development. I believe she is ready to go, but if Gimple passes this up, it shows that he's afraid to take out popular characters simply because they're popular, which will negatively affect the story line. To kill Beth would not only be the safe route, it would also be extremely predictable, and would not affect the audience and group as much as Carol's death would. If you disagree, then you disagree.

That's the complete opposite of good writing.
I really have no clue but I will say the Idea of Carol has been in the back of my mind since last Sunday however i'll hate it if she dies. I'm pretty sure Dawn and most of the other cop's.
Every walking dead podcast or predictions I read seem to think Carol and/or Beth is going to die. While it is definitely possible...I just don't see it happening. Seems like it would be way to obvious. Ethier way we know one thing for certain....Rick and Carl are definitely safe to be honest they're unkillable at this point. Though I wouldn't have a problem with Carl getting killed off. I could see Daryl dying honestly because that would be a huge shocker, but I think they're saving his death for a certain baseball bat wielding psycho. Also Nate obviously dies :P.

spoiler of the dead fan page already found out it's Beth, so get ready. They deleted the post because fans were getting upset. I only remember half of what they said, and I quote. ''something in Beth will trigger causing her to give up on life. The scars on her arm foreshadows her death which will be tragic to the group especially Daryl. She'll sacrifice herself to save the group.
95% Beth
5% Carol
Only way Carol will die is is Beth screws something up again.
People who could/should die and nobody would give a single fuck...
Carl, Beth, Tyrese, Sasha, Eugene, soldier girl, Maggy, Carol, baby
This show is such a love-hate relationship. Some episodes are just outstanding, but on the whole its usually just a bunch of useless filler. Season 5 looked like it might shake things up with its great opening episode and then it just falls back into mediocrity. The show has no real focus, there are too many characters, and not enough attention is paid to any kind of real character development.
So many things happen just for the sake of advancing the plot. This often leads to situations that make no sense. Abraham and his group want to leave because of the cannibals, but then stay and help kill all the cannibals, thus eliminating that threat. Yet the group splits up anyways! Maggy's sister has been kidnapped and she doesn't seem to give 2 fucks about this? Instead she volunteers to abandon her and go to Washington instead? The black kid who met Beth and escapes coincidentally meets up with Daryl/Carol. Seems highly unlikely, but ok. Oh guess what? They meet up again in this huge abandoned city the very next day.
This is the shit I'm talking about. Ever since Season 1 their has been no fucking resemblance of a plot what-so-ever. Still though, those 3 episodes in a given season that are good, are usually pretty dam good. Just dissapointing when you know the show could be so much better.
I was crying tears of joy when they wheeled her over to Daryl. But damn being a Greene really sucks, Maggie better watch her back in the next mid-season finale.
Spoiler for the comics, Maggie tries to kill herself in the comics after the prison when her entire family dies, could they do this with Maggie come February, but they actually kill her?

honestly that was a stupid ass death. i think that nick and sarah's death were better. honestly this mid season went to shit when they brought in the cops. and to think i was more excited for that part when the trailer was first shown.
Jeez you remind me of one of those people that read the book a movie is based on. "Oh the book is so much better" :P No offense, but the episode was awesome and the death was well done I thought.

Doesn't actually have to be Carol. He cares about Beth too, you know?
Bye bye, Beth. It's been a good run, Miss Greene.
That's the complete opposite of good writing.
That wouldn't be TWD at all.

Dawn really reminds me of Jane this episode and it's creepy...
Maggie's reaction to Beth being alive xD terrible
Oh so now Maggie cares. Ok good to know.
I did not see that coming. She had so much more potential.
I know right, I'm surprised she wasn't like, "Whose that blond girl Daryl's holding.
I know, I jumped out of my seat when that happened.
So Beth and Dawn, kind of expected, but at least Morgan's back, again.
Damn you were right lol.
That was the biggest bullshit.
I know, I jumped out of my seat when that happened, caught me completely off guard.
Call me heartless, but God Damn am I glad it wasn't Carol to bite the bullet.
I was hoping it would be Carol.
100% agree, at least Carol is alive.
I was so shocked when She got shot. I wasn't expecting it at all. It was so sad
O_O
I was crying tears of joy when they wheeled her over to Daryl. But damn being a Greene really sucks, Maggie better watch her back in the next mid-season finale.
Carol's suppose to be dead...I like her but DAMN she barely woke up!
Spoiler for the comics, Maggie tries to kill herself in the comics after the prison when her entire family dies, could they do this with Maggie come February, but they actually kill her?

told you lol. Their posts are legit XD. I was still sad though
Not everyone knows Rosemary, it hasn't come out everywhere.
Told you Beth was going to die. Can you take the spolier tag off now, since everyone knows?
Yeah lol
I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I feel like that lame episode earlier was a waste.......
Jeez you remind me of one of those people that read the book a movie is based on. "Oh the book is so much better" :P No offense, but the episode was awesome and the death was well done I thought.
Out of everyone else, I was hoping it would be Carol..........
