I think Norman Reedus is an amazing actor but I dislike the character. Daryl was put in… more by AMC to look pretty to draw the attention of a wider audience. He wasn't in the comics, he's about as useful as T-Dog. So please for the love of God do not put him in Telltale the walking dead.

It just reeks of another Hollywood choice to me, since they're making a big deal that two big names are producing this game. Virtually every protagonist in the series has been a white dude with brown hair. The only outlier was Heather, a teenage girl from Silent Hill 3, and she was awesome because her vulnerability fit right in with the horror theme. Having an old guy, or some black guy, or just another woman, would have worked.
I mean, I was real excited for Season 2 of this series BECAUSE the protagonist was a little girl and that made me afraid for her. I'd feel much more in control if my avatar had the likeness of a certified zombie slayer.
