Tales From The Borderlands season pass Xbox One
I bought the season pass the day Tales came out and it never downloaded, now when I try to download it the store is trying to charge me again. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Same problem here can telltale or microsoft please fix this ASAP
Same for me, I hope they fix this because no way am I paying for it again.
I talked with a guy from Microsoft. Apparently they are just now noticing this problem. They refunded me so I could repurchase it and it still didn't work. They're now looking into the problem and I'm supposed to get an email soon.
I apologize for the inconvenience. As stated in the Description for The Season Pass for Borderlands, the Season Pass includes Episodes 2-5, and Episode 1 is sold separately. You will need to purchase Episode 1 in order to activate the Season Pass.
I have bought episode one and the Season Pass but when I attempt to download the season pass it prompts me to buy it again. Further, when I first purchased the season pass by clicking on "buy the season pass" in game it did not download anything.
My apologies. We are aware of the issue, and are currently looking further into the root cause, and we hope to have the Season Pass issue resolved in the near future.
I have had issues also with the season pass. I have purchased episode one the purchased the season pass. When purchasing the season pass it does not download any file and the store page on xbox one gives the manage selection, when clicked it just brings up a blank manage page. I went through the steps with support who verified I bought the pass but as a last step the had me delete and re-download my profile on to my xbox one. After doing that it wiped out the pass information in their system saying I had purchased the pass. So they refunded the transaction since I could forward the purchase confirmation to support and said for me to repurchase. I repurchased the pass and its still doing the same as the first time.
Also having issues with the season pass. I bought it on release and it never downloaded. Now its trying to charge me again. Please fix it.
Same goes for me...reminds me of the Season Pass desaster of "Wolf Among Us" back ..."in the old days"
Same issue here, bought it but nothing downloaded and when going back to the store I'm prompted to buy it again.
We believe to have resolved the Season Pass issue. Please start the game again now, and you should be able to download the Season Pass/purchase the Season Pass successfully.
Just to let you guys know it isn't fixed, I am still being prompeted to buy it and I have the receipt from both Microsoft and my PayPal in front of me so I know I've paid. I understand it might take time to fix but I've paid for something you aren't giving me, please fix this!
Still say "Buy" for me...well at least you have around a month left to fix it and not like back with "Wolf Among Us" when the second episode was released, having a Season Pass and the game wants that you please buy the second episode.
This was really annoying....
Same here its saying for me to purchase the pass again through Episode 1 and on the xbox one market place, but if i access the pass on the smart glass app it shows it was purchased. I have the confirmation emails showing it was paid for, and the balance that was on my MS account shows it was charged and paid for.
Purchased Season Pass on 11/29/14--Does not show after install and wants me to purchase again. Any resolution yet?
As you can see: No
My apologies, we are still working on resolving an issue where the Season Pass in-game states 'Buy' when players have already purchased it. We hope to have a update for this in the near future. You should be able to log into your Xbox Live profile, and go to the Xbox Marketplace either on your console, or through a web browser on a computer, and the Season Pass should show up as 'Owned' or 'Purchased'.
No, it's exactly as Madhatter6669 describes: it either says "Manage" before the update yesterday or prompts for $14.99 after yesterday's update (this after being refunded to go repurchase again, which DID NOT work). I'm on with MS right now for my 2nd refund (All of this AFTER clearing Persistent Storage, clearing the Alternate MAC address, deleting and re-downloading my profile all at the suggestion of MS support) DON'T bother with any of this. Just ask for a refund right away!
The marketplace knows I own it, but when I click on Manage Content I get taken to a blank screen. No download ever occurred even after I got refunded and tried buying the season pass again.
Uh OK still if I don't get my season pass which purchased twice and the first time I wonder if you will refund me on the first one,but keep the second time I purchase on cause I want the season pass for Tales From the borderlands I love it so please fix it and refund me. Thank you
When I go to the marketplace, it just tells me to buy the season pass again. When I bought the season pass through the game last week it never downloaded or went to my queue, it just took me to a blank screen with "Manage" at the top.
I just checked in game and on the marketplace and still get the buy prompt both places.
I'm also having a similar problem on my Xbox One. I downloaded the season pass through the game (rather than the Xbox One Store), and now when I click to purchase the season pass through the game, it takes me to the Xbox One Store and there isn't even an option to "Manage" it anymore. It just has the "Pin to Home" option. Meanwhile, the Store now thinks I didn't buy it and wants me to re-purchase for $14.99.
Not sure if this helps or not, but the Xbox One Store has the file listed with a file size of 0 (https://store.xbox.com/en-SG/Xbox-One/Dlc/Tales-from-the-Borderlands-Season-Pass/8db0fe2d-f732-4573-a46c-e886d19357d9). Is this where the problem lies?
I'm just getting nervous now, because I've already been billed for purchasing this season pass and I'm afraid that once this issue is fixed... the game will still not recognize that I've purchased it. An update on this issue would go a long way.
Hi I also have bought the season pass on xbox one and having the same problem Its not showing as purchased but I have been charged
Any idea when this will be resolved
That is how it showed on my xbox one when they had me delete my profile from it. Then while on the phone with support they said there was no purchase made and no key for the pass. I had to copy paste my confirmation email into the support chat then they issued a refund and said to repurchase the pass. Currently repurchasing just leads back to the blank manage page for me so would say hold off until they fix whatever the issue seems to be. The oddest thing is on the smart glass app if i log in it says the pass has been purchased.
We are currently looking into the root cause of the issue, and hope to have a resolution soon. I will make sure to update this thread when I have any new information on the subject.
If you have not yet purchased Episode 1, which is sold separately from the Season Pass (Episodes 2-5), it is also available from the Xbox Marketplace.
I am also experiencing difficulty with my Tales Season pass. I get the same black screen. I purchased the first episode, then before the game was finished installing I purchased the season pass on the xbox one store, but it never gave me a download queue, like game of thrones did. Now when I try to "Manage" it, I get a black screen. Also i am not even given the option to purchase again, just to pin to home. I really enjoyed the first episode, and hopefully this issue gets resolved soon, as I would love to play the other episodes.
Thats exactly the problem everyone has, game says still "buy" and it was never downloaded (which already made me wondering) but Xbox itselfsays i own it
I am having the issue where the only option is "manage game" and there is no content that exists to match that, but XBox support has verified that I have the license. I am assuming it will all get ironed out at some point, just wanted to bring another case to attention.
We are currently looking into the Season Pass issue. Please note that the Season Pass is Episodes 2-5, and if you have not yet purchased Episode 1 (Sold Separately) you will need to do so to access the game, and the Season Pass. Episode 1 is available to purchase now, and after purchasing and downloading that, you will be able to play through Episode 1 now. Please note that we are currently working on releasing an update that will resolve the Season Pass issue, and hope to have more information soon.
Yea when I got the first episode I letted it download , then purchased the season pass off the game. However it didn't even attempt to download. I contacted Microsoft support and the issue was recently new to him and he had no clue. Then I went out of my way to buy it again then it led me to a blank screen that says manage at top. However after an update it fixed my blank screen issue but now it wants me to buy it again, please just somehow resolve this.
Has there been any update to this issue?
Thread: downloaded season pass but no file available
i downloaded andpurchased the season pass but theres no file to download
pls solve it i wanted to play tales from the borderlands now !!!!!!!!!!!!!! you ruined my weekend
You know that you have to download Episode 1 first, Episode 1 is not included in the Season Pass (2-5) also currently there is a problem with the Season Pass that it don't "exist" even you have bought it
i have it for ps3 and the season pass includes episode 1-5
but episode 1 isnt available to download or something
None that I have seen, pass still broken on the xbox one.
The problem is still there. Just wanted to mention that there seem to be 2 versions of the season pass. Is it supposed to be that way? Because when im in the game and go to the store from there, there is no "buy" option. But when i search for it in the xbox store i find it and is able to buy it. (which i did...) and thats when i don't get a download, and the manage button only takes me to the first episode which is already installed.
How about an Update on the Situation?
We are currently looking further into the root cause of the issue, and are working with Microsoft to fix it. I hope to have more information, and an update for you soon.
I have the same exact problem, it just says Manage and will not download.
