  • Was that for AMC 'The Walking Dead'?

a commercial ad on tv :P

  • The short length is pretty much the least of it's problems

I don't see how anyone can say S2 was terrible and worth forgetting about when Survival Instinct exists

From what I have heard survival instinct has a very short play time.

  • I was a fan of the TV show.. Browsing Youtube looking for walking dead video's I kept seeing some animated video's so finally I clicked on one.. I don't remember whose playthrough it was, but after like 12-15 min's I turned it off, got on my Xbox and got it immediately.

I never even heard of Telltale Games.

    Been hooked ever since.

  • All five episodes of Season 1 was already out. Xbox 360 was allowing you to get the first episode for free, so I did. I thought the first episode was decent, but I didn't plan on getting anymore. I showed it to my friend because he was a Walking Dead fan, and he wound up buying the entire first season. He told it was really good, and convinced me into buying the second episode. Glad I listened to him.

  • I was introduced to The Walking Dead Game when I watched Pewdiepie play it, I finished watching his playthrough of the game right before TWDGS1 became available on disc.

  • I saw news about "Starved for Help" release, and I was interested in the game so I bought it.

  • Ive seen the games ads before

  • I watched SSohPKC's play through. Hooked ever since.

  • Started watching the show after Breaking Bad ended. Always saw the promos for it, just never thought a TV show about zombies could work. I think that was around season 3. After seeing the pilot (the best in TV history, IMO. Close 2nd is Breaking Bad's.) I was hooked. Started playing the game after playing the S2 demo, was hooked when I went back to S1. Started reading a few months ago, caught up under a week. Can't wait for the next issue. Same can be said for S3, and the next half of S5.

  • I first got introduced to the universe when I sat down and played through the game with my younger brother. This was already after all five episodes of season one had been released, so there was no waiting game to deal with. It was pretty intense making collaborative decisions, especially when I had to convince him to do something.

I finally broke down and started watching the TV show around two months ago (holy wow, time flies).

  • Collaborative decision making was how my first experience with the game as well. A friend told me about it about three episodes in, and a bunch of us all got together and did a playthrough from the beginning. Having four people argue over every decision was a ton of fun.

As for TWD in general, a different friend told me to give the show a chance because he had read the comics. I'm not a comic book kinda guy, but I gave the show a chance.

  • Saw it on the Xbox live dashboard when It first came out. Free trial was legit so I bought the game :D happy I made that purchase

  • Played Telltale's Back to the future and thought it was mediocre then heard about it. Gave it a try and fell in love

  • I bought episode one on my ipad, deleted it later after i finished the episode, then i saw playthroughs of it on youtube and bought the rest of the game, now being hooked.

  • Update: I bought 'Tales from the Borderlands' yesterday and thought it was brilliant.

  • It is an awesome game. Check out Game of Thrones too bro if you get the chance.

  • The first time I ever saw the game was on YouTube and this hilarious (but small) YouTuber, Om3gaPro was playing it but it kept crashing and glitching on him so he stopped the play through :(

But the first time I got hooked was the TV show and ever since then it reintroduced me to the game that I had no idea was the same game I saw Om3gaPro play. So I watched UberHaxorNova's play through of it until i could buy the game myself. I bought all 4 episodes out at the time and played through it and got to experience the 5th episode blind (which was amazing and made me crie evritiem ;_;)

  • Actually I think I kept seeing The Walking Dead being played by Nova in my feed so I checked it out and THAT led me to the TV show

I was looking for a zombie game or show that was just about the characters, emotions and story... I also was kinda afraid of zombie things and I heard about TWD so I looked up the game after a couple of days when EP5 came out and watched the first minute of S1 EP1 AND I FELL IN LOVE!!! LOL.

And the worst thing was I watched all the episodes online instead of buying them... Well the person I watched had almost 100% the same choices I made so:)

We only had one choice different in S1 EP3 LOL

  • Which choice was it?

Lucky I didn't have to wait for all the episodes Cuz all the episodes were out by that time. c:

  • I was always a fan of the show since it came out on October 31, 2010. I was just getting back home from Trick-Or-Treating, when I thought of watching the show. I didn't like the show at first, but the TS 9 episode drew me in because of the emotion of Rick. From there, I was interested in his character and continued to watch the show.

It wasn't until about July 2014 that I even considered watching the Telltale series. I thought it was another terrible Survival Instincts game. It wasn't until my friend,a walking Walking Dead wiki fan, told me that the "Telltale games made me feel again and the series surpasses anything that the show and comics ever produced"

Then I asked him, " Who is the main character?".

He replied to me," a playable... bad-ass... Eleven year old girl."

I replied ," That story is bullshit. Are you sure? The series doesn't sound all that awe inspiring."

Later that day, I started with season 1. I watched "A New Day" to " Starve for Help". I was hooked on Clementine. Stilling wondering when the bad-ass girl is going to arrive.

throughout the month, I watched the rest of season 1. I felt more and more attached to the faith of Lee and Clementine. Until, the ultimate day that I watched the episode that Lee died. That was the first time I felt any concern for any video game character in my life, strange.

Still today, I still watch the episodes over and over again just to see the various of choices. I'm the guy crossing his fingers for a Telltale Based Walking Dead Movie, or at least crossover Clementine into the show or comics. I think Robert Kirkman is just Scared of telltale.

    I

  • I started playing 'The Walking Dead' when my mum brought me my ipod touch for my birthday, she had downloaded a couple of games on there and that was one of them, I played the first episode and loved the connection between Lee and Clementine, I then found out it was out for PC and Xbox 360, I decided to buy it on xbox and see if it was any different and it wasn't.. I waited until the release date of 'No Time Left' until I played all of them together, and since then I have played The Walking Dead Game every time a new episode comes out, and I watched The Walking Dead on tv from season 2 onwards.

Basically I have been playing The Walking Dead Game since March 6 2012 and watched the show since November 20 2012.

  • Im assuming that it was keeping Lilly or Leaving Lilly, thats my assumption anyway.

  • I was with my friend and we were looking for free games on the app store and episode 1 of TTGs the walking dead had just been made free. We beat the first episode together and thought it was real awesome. I played the first episode with him and it took me a whole year before I got back into it and bought all the other episodes. I have played the game four times now and I never get bored of it. I am gonna buy it on pc soon because TTG games on the app store suck.

  • I've been a huge fan of Telltale games since the beginning. They released a new game, so I played it. Simple as that. :P

I'm glad I didn't watch pewdiepie play this game - that would be like getting a huge, delicious ice cream, dropping it in the mud and then eating it.

In 2012, I read a little about TWD in a game magazine when the episodes came out, but I wasn't interested enough to buy it. However, in early 2013, several of the magazine writers praised the game as the "game of the year" and mentioned that they actually cried during the game. That sparked my interest. I bought the game and realized that the praise was well deserved.

I still don't know what I prefer - playing all the episodes in a short period of time like I did with the first season, or playing the episodes when they become available like I did with the second season... Both have pros and cons.

  • heard about it over the web, but wasn't really interested till i watched 2bfp do a playthrough of it

  • Predictive most definitely

  • I know what you mean waiting for an episode gets the excitement building.
