If you could save one character, who would it be?

No, I refuse to embrace... that.

  • Nick. He has the worst death in the whole series.

  • Lee obviously....

  • Ok you embrace the shirtless Luke, while I go hide in the corner wondering how I will forget this. :P

    I don't.

  • Exactly, well said :)

I agree with what you said. I'm on the same page pretty much. Lee was one of my favorite characters alongside Clem in Season 1, yet the way

  • If Lee had survived then obviously I would've been happy, but at least the player got to say goodbye to him- his death was very, very well executed by Telltale. But as for Luke's death...it was awful, a complete injustice to kill him off like he was a nobody when he was such an important character to the second season and the player. That's why I'd have to go with Luke; not necessarily because I liked him more than Lee, but because his death was so poorly done.

    Lee obviously....

  • His death is pretty poor, and I'd have liked it if he could've had a bigger part, but if I could only choose one character then it'd have to be Luke

  • TWD is far better than TLOU, I completely agree.

Thing is, Lee's whole story was about protecting Clem, teaching her what she needed to survive. His work was done, and I think his presence in Season 2 would have undermined Clem's development, since she'd still have a carer. Plus, I wouldn't want to see Lee die in any other way, lest they ruined t.

I'm not to sure about Duck- maybe it's just because he was young, but he was pretty clumsy, getting himself into bad situations all the time. He wasn't exactly very smart either; for instance, I couldn't imagine him being able to get out of the shed Clem was in- he just wasn't very smart, even his dad knew that. The detective scene maybe showed he wasn't completely useless, but I think that was Telltale just trying to get you to like him before they killed him off. I admit I don't like Duck, but (trying to be as unbias as possible) I couldn't see him developing like Clem did, even if he'd had someone like Lee with him. He probably would've grown up to be a dumber version of his dad, and probably not as tough either.

  • I'm stuck between Lee and Omid. I wanted to bring Bro Mid back because of how pathetic he died and Lee well we all know why

  • Probably Omid, since Lee's death was so good (I don't mean that him dying was good, but his death was satisfactory). Then again, I thought his death set the tone for Season 2 really well.

  • Not hardly. Killing a fan favorite seconds into the season was a bad move. Had him and Christa replaced Al and Becca it would have been more emotional and had more of an effect if Carver killed Omid

  • As far as romance goes? I think Becca might a little too old for her. If we're talking about friendship (or a rivalry even), I say hells yeah. I'd love to see that dynamic. But even just having Becca fleshed out more is good for me. I still think her bravado is just a defense mechanism for how afraid she really is, and I'd like to explore that.

I disagree with your point on Lee. You make him sound like he was nothing more than a plot device in the end.... And maybe that was Telltale's plan for him all along, but that just makes them victim's of their own success. Lee was the best thing to happen to the TWD and I still think there's a lot more they could've done with him and his dynamic with Clementine. You said he would've overshadowed Clem with his care taker duties.... well maybe make that a plot point. Have her get frustrated with his overprotectiveness and start rebelling in effort to prove herself. We already saw shadows of that when she started doing things without permission in Savannah.

LOL. I can't really say you're wrong with this one. Like I said, its just my head cannon. Who knows how Duck would've ended up really. I will say though that dumb kids don't stay dumb forever. They eventually get smarter and stronger, eventually becoming forces to be reckoned with. I just wanted to see how far Duck would've gone with that.

Nope, but I got a PhD in: Being an annoying splinter in Telltale's foot that won't shut the heck up about how much Luke's death sucked...because it did suck; seriously guys I thought your Jurassic Park days were behind you! And don't you sugar coat that game, I've seen the death montage videos!

But yes, those acting skills were rather interesting "Don't save me, save my blinky Christmas ribik cube!"

Believe it or not I've seen worse... way worse. I blame my parents. "This was a classic." "Look at how real it looks." "Ok it's bad but it was great at the time."

I checked the video, it says it's from the 2005 film Subzeroo, although I think looking up alien ribik cubes in the possession of inexperienced mountain climbers might come up with the same result XD but I've seen worse, the channel had a bunch before, although I haven't watched that in a while. I remember there was this one on dinosaurs, and this woman's in a nest in radio contact with her group trying to escape and be rescued, meanwhile there's his guy getting eatten by the baby dinosaurs, crying out in pain and very much alive...and she doesn't do anything to help him XD completely ignores him like he's already dead!

Can I just ask this film this is from??? Jesus Christ, I have never seen something so poorly done in my entire life!

  • I didn't draw it, actually.

Although your drawing skills are impressive, I'd prefer it if we didn't have to see anymore shirtless men please

  • I would save Lee since I really liked him and he was a great leader, I wanted him to look after Clementine in S2 but, like you said his death went well with the finale so I would save Luke since his death was kind of ridiculous, also I just want to see him back again and I think he would be a good 'caretaker' for Clementine and AJ :)

They will speak of us in legend...when we are banned for being annoying widdle wafffle cakes that wouldn't digest T.T

Oh I've seen so many bad B movies you have no idea. Ever play Resident Evil? The early games have some of the best deaths ever, and by best I mean you will crack a rib laughing. Watch some cutscenes online of the original first game, you will see what I mean :P

But here's a beautiful example from one of my favorites of the series, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.

You know this is something they should've done with Nick's second death with Luke being there, just maybe less cheesy....way, waaay less cheesy.

When I first came on the forums I never wanted to comment in case I got banned XD. But I'd imagine if we were ever banned it would be something to do with Luke :P.

No it's before my time. I was always interested though. I've only seen the movies :/. But that is a great death scene XD After it happens his reaction is like he found him like that :P. Did he not realise he shot him?

That would have been good to see. Add a little spice to the mix for once but make sure there's only a sprinkle of cheese. :P

That game wasn't that bad. I played it and enjoyed it. Death montages were hilarious to me IMO.

  • I think I would want to save Pete. I agree with you that Luke died pointlessly, and his death was a disservice, but I think having Pete around might've solved some of the issues the group had. Pete seemed to be a smart, rational guy who thought things through, and I think he and Kenny might've gotten along. The two of them could've become friends, and perhaps Pete might've been able to talk some sense into him when he was acting irrational. I also just really liked Pete, as he was the first one who trusted Clem, and stood up for her. He was a really good guy, and I think he had the potential to become somewhat like Lee to Clem, a fatherly figure, as well as a rational friend to Kenny. Things might've gone a bit smoother with the group if Pete had lived.

  • You just brought up the past for some.

I'd save Sarah, she got an illogical second death in the same episode she deemed the determinant status like Sarita and TellTale's staff just laughed her death up with that IGNorant person.
