I feel like it would be better if Jane was replaced by Lilly. It'd make sense since her and Kenny have a long standing rivalry. The dream scene at Episode 5 would be more impacting as it was about Lilly. The conflict between them would be much harsher and be more difficult for players (Team Kenny vs Team Lilly would come back).
Not only that but we can explore Lillys backstory more (Maybe she did have a sister. Of course you'll have to reword it so that Lilly maybe met them after she was abandoned or drove off from Clementines group).
I think it'd be better. What do you think?

If lily came back, the first thing i would do would be to shoot her in the face. I dont want to see her ever again. She was a raging lunatic bitch, and i hope she got slowly eaten by zombies when i left her on the side of the road.

Not me bro, I liked Lilly over Kenny from S1. Kenny was a total jerk in S1 to Lilly, then when he killed her dad he acted like he was the victim. She shot Carley/Doug because she got upset and lost her mind.

With Kenny, its more about his attitude, for me at least. The fact that he always has a rude or condescending nickname for Everyone, how he treats the people in his group when they don't agree with him on every little point, how he wont listen to reason (even when its reasonable, and in his own best interest), how he doesn't Respect anyone. Those reasons are just part of why i hate kenny.
Lilly was broken and in the situation she only wanted what was best for her people. She had all right to question if there was a traitor among us. The thing is that Lilly was right, there is no real difference between taking your medicine and slitting your throat while sleeping. She had narrowed it down between Ben and Carley or just Ben. Ben WAS the traitor and it was obvious. However Carley decided to lash out against Lilly who she knew was breaking down. It's just as bad as when Jane and Kenny was going against each other. Carey and Jane both knew what they were doing and to a broken person. Both Kenny and Lilly lashed out as someone would.
Lilly wasn't insane, she was just broken with one goal, to keep everyone together and safe...Something she couldn't do for her own dad. Lilly's list of people she could trust was thin...There was Kenny who crushed her father's head in, there was Katjaa who she could trust, there was Clem and Duck who are children, there was Ben who was a stupid kid (As much as he is one of my favorites), there was Carley who showed no loyalty to no one, there was Doug who...Well...Is Doug.
She had all the right mind to shoot Carley...Now was it smart and moral...No. However let me ask you something, if she shot Ben without warning and it turns out later Carley was the traitor...Would you be upset? If Carley shut up then she would've shot Ben. It was Carley's fault and the entire thing reminds me of Kenny and Jane in the car ride.
So Lilly shooting Carley in the head and possibly giving a merciful death to a traitor was bad?
Lilly felt regretful afterwards...Even more so with Doug.
Don't forget that Kenny just tried to leave her to die after trying to save all their lives from the bandits.
Oh yes, Lilly and Lee were the only reasons they got away. Lilly was actually the only reason Lee had time to save everyone.
So...Lilly was the only reason everyone's alive and we know what the Bandits do to women and men...Rape and murder. Lilly was a damn hero, even when she couldn't trust everyone, she saved them all.

There was no proof carley had anything to do with that. So Lily Kills someone, and feels bad afterwards, so that makes her all good? She should feel bad, she just murdered someone with no cause, point blank.

That's not a very good defense. Saying Lilly would have randomly shot someone else if Carley hadn't (rightfully) called her out on her little inquisition just proves that Lilly was unstable. Lilly was the one who pulled the trigger, she killed Carley, Carley didn't kill herself.
It wasn't random...Lilly either narrowed it down to Ben and Carley or just Ben. We saw what would've happened if Carley wasn't there, Lilly would've tried to shoot Ben and then Doug saves him. Carley showed her outrageous disloyalty to Lilly and the group with that outburst and Lilly thought it was Carley. Just because Carley didn't pull the tigger doesn't mean she didn't cause her own death.
I would have loved to see Lilly back. It's been 2 years. I can forgive her. Carley wasn't that great anyway.

If people dislike Lilly too much and Telltale were worried the choice wouldn't be that balanced - Bring back Molly. She cared about Clementine, and bringing Molly back would be good.

I like Lily. Ok, she lost her mind and she did a terrible thing shooting Carley/Doug, but that doesn't make her a bad person... People do crazy things when they lose their minds. If Lily is a terrible person, what about Lee?
