I hate saying this, but Clementine's story needs to end by the end of this season. I'd hate to see a character as great as Clementine become another "cash cow mascot" that a company can use to increase sales of a dry franchise. Every character, no matter how great; has a beginning, a middle, and an end. Clementine is reaching hers.
What we need is a fresh perspective, with a set of new problems, new challenges, and new character traits. A character that has his or her own back story and a refreshing narrative.
Also, Clementine's story doesn't have to necessarily end with death. Her tale can end ubiquitously and somewhat unharmed without compromising what the entire season has lead up to.
If clem isnt in season 3 then season 1 and 2 meant completely nothing and then telltale is going to have to make a big and bold new story that is just as good as season one's story....also, it would and up like call of duty it having a new storyline about every season and having new characters that nobody cares about. so i aint getting S3 unless clem is the character.
That's kind of silly. Implying a story isn't worth it because it doesn't have the old character, well you can say the same about S1 if you've never played it "Oh, no Rick or Carl, must suck" Not all stories need to be connected, and it sure doesn't make it like COD dude

i agree a little bit on what you said but, im just saying that the game as been revolved around this one character about the whole entire game and i understand what you said about Carl and Rick but they have been in the walking dead series since the first EP so getting rid of them isnt a good option.I dont know what i is was saying about the COD part now that was stupid of me.Clem just has really good potential for season 3 because no matter what ending you choose you still have a baby so, i wouldnt mind seeing Clem older and AJ older and Clem teaching AJ the skillz Lee taught Clem. Her character can really go on for one more season and then telltale could pick a new main player like AJ,Mike,Arvo,Lilly and so on. I completely respect your thoughts so dont take anything i said the wrong way because i have seen the kenny and jane disscussions.....

yeah clem should stay as the main character i think to a lot of people clementine is the walking dead i hope s3 is set a few years later and she should be a little older that my opinion what about you guys.

400 days same as it was except the characters are not determinants and there is no Tavia, the group hear about Wellington and want to go there.
Season Two, you would be Clem trying to get to Wellington with a pregnant Christa and a still alive Omid, instead of the cabin group you meet up the 400 days group. Becca is a bitch to you. You go with them and Christa to Wellington and deal with Christa giving birth, but you run into trouble on the way there as a group of bad guys show up with Nate being one of them, try to rob and kill you and the group. Only you and a couple others survive the attack. There is no Carvers camp and at the end you make it to Wellington but it turns out to be a bad place like what Carvers slave camp is and the last scene you see Kenny at the camp as like a prisoner who looks rough.
Special episode, like 400 days, in this one you play as Kenny and find out how he survived Savannah and ended up at Wellington.
Season 3, you play as Kenny and Clementine is with you and choices in season 2 have a difference on her personality.
ig Picture Enjoyment of the Walking Dead Game series:
I know for many people the game is defined by one person but for me it isnt, the world is interesting not just clementine.
Clementine's Character Arc
Since we took control it is impossible for clementine to have any development of an arc, shes player controlled, we control what she does
New Character Attachability
i read all of this and in my opinion you say you bonded with Lee and clem very quickly, why cant you do this with someone else
Dealing with Lee's Death
Lee's death dealing would have been this season , however we cant see how this effected clementine as we took control of her, we cant ask her opinon on it cause we play as her
Finding Her Purpose in the ZA
This is the same for anyone
In my opinion I no longer want to play as a child, said child can be in the game so she can actually be a charcater again however I dont want to play as her particularly
You cant play as Kenny hes dead for pretty much all players, hes hogged too much screentime already and hes way to charcaterised by now, anything we did would be out of character
How I would of done TWDG:

Hell if Rick Grimes is still lead in the comics, why can't Clem's story continue. She is like Rick for the comics.
Sure she's seen much in the time of the game, but there are other experiences to undertake. Survival, making friends, hard choices that will test her character. She is a shining star in this bleak world and to let her squander would be an unwise decision.
I feel her story must continue along with befriending other survivors whom she must judge on whether they are trustworthy or not.
There will be moments that will probably be worse and just as dark as Season 2, but Clementine must endure and strive to maintain her morals and principles, with friends/allies new and old. That's the joy of life, seeing things last and prosper and sad moments of loss and fall of communities by either lurkers or others with delusions of any kind.
As for the near future, I hope Clementine (in her senior years) will look back and remember, everything that happened: The good, the bad. Those that survived (hopefully) and those that did not.
Yes, that last part is from the third Hobbit movie and I feel it is fitting.
In closing, Clem is going to be for the games like Rick is for the comics.
May her story continue and I hope she continues to be a good person in this dark world.
I agree. There's so much left to explore with her character, and there's so much hope and love for her, and she's definitely going to be with us as the PC for the duration of this franchise (unless Telltale decides to make a huge mistake), and that makes me happy.

I'm good with them ending the story the way they did. It was happy, and i enjoyed the ending. Clementine story is completed.
