Honestly i wanted to kill Andy so bad, but then it hit me that it would be even worse to let his mother which do you see coming after him eat him alive while he cant do nothing about it. I figured shooting him honestly would be giving him more mercy then the guy deserves.

Eh I was more pissed at Danny. He enjoys killing too much. I have a feeling Danny was mutilating small animals as a kid and Andy had to cover it up. With his father dead Andy's had to step into his fathers shoes juggling the care of his mom and his psychotic younger brother. It's a lot of strain on him .

i was sort of 50/50 when the option to kill came up, but i think it was Danny thinking it was a good idea to kill him that made me realise it was a bad thing to kill him and batman would agree, so how can i be wrong?

After watching playing dead #5, I really identified with how they said many players killed Danny but when it came to Andy only a low percentage opted to kill him. Mainly because Lee's whole group was there in the rain watching Lee and this would be the second person Clem saw Lee kill as well. I think I understand why people didn't kill Andy. I'm just glad I was able to push through those emotions and kick Andy into the electrified fence. Clem will understand. Bad people need to die.

Clem is going to have to work that out on her own. Is a convicted murderer who kills bad a people a bad person? Whatever she decides is fine with me.

Any money this choice will hardly be mentioned in ep3, just being a small of the hand comment or something having no real actual impact.

Honestly, they were both going to die anyways. Andy, being in a state of severe shock, was in no position to just get up and escape the walkers (plus your entire group was watching) and Danny was stuck in a bear trap which you learn at the beginning of the episode has no release latch. I'm not going to lower myself to their level in the name of revenge and I'm sticking by my decision.

There is really no moral high ground. Whether you killed them or left them to die, it's really all the same thing. The only difference between the two scenarios is that Clementine didn't have to watch Lee kill.

    And that is important
You should never kill in front of Clem

Killed Jolene cause I was focusing on her crossbow and not what she was saying. Killed Danny with Kenny's help after escaping the meat locker. When it gave me the choice to kill or spare Andy, I figured that enough blood had been spilled by the four dead people on the farm already, so I let him live. Felt I'd done enough horrific things in that episode, and I'll probably be trying for redemption for what I did in Episode 2 (and the senator) for the rest of the game.

    First post, whoo! Ahem, anyway.

Well, for Danny, i killed him yeah. I was way too angry, so i aimed the pitchfork at him. Of course, few seconds later i panicked because Clem saw that. :3

As for Andy, i left him, mostly because clementine. I just want to keep my relationship with her steady so i decided to not do any more harm.

God, do i care for that kid. Once Telltale makes a tough choice involving her, i will be screwed.

In my first save I killed none.(my mainly good guy save)Though in my second save (My pragmatic Lee) I also killed none of the brothers,I felt it wouldn't matter anyway, they weren't going anywhere...being devoured is a worse fate for those b****rds!

  • I killed them even when I saw that Clem was watching so what
the world they live in is harsh

  • Wow. I might be the only person that allowed Danny to live but killed Andrew.

  • i killed Andy st. John and that was it really. i didn't wanna kill Danny because I just didn't, and i'm glad I didn't because then Clem would have seen it but i did kill Andy because it was just such a good death scene

Lee punching him to death and with his face all fucked up, then Carley comes over and says that's enough and you can either go back and kick him into the fence or walk away to the group.. I kicked him because it just looked so sick and no one even really mentioned it in later episodes anyways so it didn't really matter to me. Have a nice day :)

  • I didn't kill them because I wasn't mad at them. I would have probably the same in this situation, if not worse...

@Clemyislove There's another option where you can take Andy's own gun and just shoot him. But anyway, @Elite4Adam this is a really old thread to bump.

  • I killed Danny- I didn't like that guy from the start, he was an utter psycho. And I wasn't in the mood to be merciful to a guy who'd cut off Mark's legs and wanted to kill everyone. I regretted it a little when Clementine saw it, and initially I didn't want to kill Andy (he wasn't as bad- he was sort of nice, initially), but I didn't want to run the risk of them coming back for me (this was my first time playing) so I killed him as well, though I was less happy about making that choice. It was worth it though in order to reassure Clementine that they had to die.

Would I still make that decision now? Yes, I would. I wouldn't have second thoughts about Danny, and in the end though I thought Andy was okay he was going to kill everyone and grabbed Clementine. I couldn't allow them to live and threaten the group.

Carverwas i agree very much on that its very cool were bringing back older topics to light to hold us over until season 3 comes

@AWESOMEO @papai46 @Goldenpaladin @Markd4547 Ok lets go indept on a old subject and bring up some small factors that have not been mentioned

  • Looking back on the choice, I think killing them was the right choice. They were murderous cannibals, and who's to say Andy wouldn't have came back and tried to kill us? We ASSUMED he was devoured by the walkers. But did we actually know for sure that happened? We do not. Danny was unlikely of escaping the bear trap, but who knows? Some crazy shit has occurred in this game, and at this point, ANYTHING could happen. Plus, I had to factor in they KNEW where the Motor Inn was. So if Andy escaped, had time to plot revenge, and came after us? He might do ALOT of damage and with protecting Clementine, you can't afford to have that happen. And if we're talking about it being morally wrong, it can be argued as a mercy kill. I think killing them was a win-win situation, and I made a choice that could have kept us alive. I'm happy with it.

I let them go. Although after hearing about that cut thing where it was revealed one of them was a pedo, if I ever get around playing Season 1 again, I'll make sure to kill them both. Besides coming to think of it they must've eaten a lot of people and nearly got the group made into dinner like Mark, I wouldn't want guys like that hanging around.

  • yup there a danger

  • The only thing regret was the fact Clementine had to see me kill someone. But I got over that, she HAS to learn the dangers of this world, and she seemed to understand WHY I killed them. I assured her they were going to kill ALL OF US and they were bad men, and I couldnt let such major threats live on. Letting them go wasn't an option because of the high risk of them returning posed. If they somehow managed to get away, they'd surely have a score to settle, and on top of that, they KNOW where the Motor Inn is. At the time, the Motor Inn was our home, and it was defendable. Even if we had no safe place to stay at, I still wouldn't have spared them. I definitely wouldn't want them eating anymore people and slaughtering other groups. Sickos.
