A.J and Christa.
I wanted to know how you guys feel about season three possibilities regarding Alvin Junior and Christa. I'm not a massive fan of Christa so this isn't a love/hate thread about her, just speculation.
What ever ending you received season two, you'll notice that you were always left with AJ. This means if Clementine is the protagonist for season three, AJ is likely to have an appearance.
Now we know some things about Clem and Christa's relationship. They both cared for Lee, and they both cared for Omid. When Christa found Omid had been shot with Clementine's gun, we can assume that the look on her face points blame at Clem (I disliked that, a lot. I mean who let's a child check a public toilet by themselves during a zombie apocalypse, really). Having helped look after Clementine for around two years, I think its probably correct that Christa cared for Clementine, despite what happened with Omid. Christa was also pregnant, and we have no details about what happened. We can assume they didn't eat it. So in all likelihood there were either complications with the birth or pregnancy, or the baby did not survive shortly after the birth.
This brings me to my point about the abrupt disappearance of Christa, and the Clementine holding AJ endings. Is it likely that Christa will make an appearance season three? And more importantly, is AJ a reason that Christa should return? Is there no big of a token for Christa, than for Clem to give her back something that she thought she had lost? That being a child. Through out the season, Christa is numerously mentioned.
This is all speculation of course. Was Pete and those other men in the river really killed by Carver? Pete was bitten but died from a bullet wound and had no gun. One of the men had Clementine's bag and had attacked Christa. There's something feigned about their deaths.
What are your opinions?

Yeah, I think it could be a ''hint'' of Telltale. I don't believe they will just forget her, but I really don't know what are their plans for her.
Interesting thing, Christa can get stabbed with a big stick, later Pete is shown removing it from to the bodies.
TellTale already said they liked Christa being an "untied bow" because in reality you will never find out what happened to those people
Maybe we can find out in the season 3 what happened with Christa's Baby.
Maybe AJ is a new hope for Christa in Season 3, but AJ is a new hope for Kenny too, since Duck's death.
If they bring Christa back its Kenny 2.0. Hopefully,
TTG releases a screen shot of them both in a dumpster in Miami not moving. The end.

Yeah, and later on Clem tells Luke that she saw lights down by the bridge, but they turned back into the forest. There were two of them. What ever happened with Christa and the spear could indicate someone helped her escape, so those two lights could have been Christa and this other person.
Someone also told me Clem's backpack was left in the ski lodge after Carver shows up. But Clem's bag was also left with the dying man and the spear in the river until Clem found it. If Christa was there, may be the dying man told Christa that Clementine was dead, prompting her to leave him and the bag and move on. He also smirks at Clem after giving him water. If Christa is alive, heading to Wellington, then that would also lead her to the ski lodge. May be she finds Clem's backpack there, sparking her to believe that she is still alive.
Seems too easy, this whole speculation thing. After all, there is a chance she could just be dead. It doesn't look that way though.
I am not sure we will see Christa in anything other than a flashback or dream sequence like Lee, but I agree that there are too many unanswered questions for telltale games to ignore, as I am sure we aren't the only ones who would like to know what happened in the previous 16 months to season 2.
I am working on a theory right, now have been for a few days now, and I intend to post it in another thread at some point.
Yeah, with Kenny being determinant now, I hope they bring Christa back. I don't think they will, but I hope in season 3 Clem meets a 'lifer', and by that I mean a companion that survives to the end with her. They could have Christa come back and kill Kenny/Jane-Kenny because he's so volatile and Jane because she's manipulative. I wish we had gotten to know Christa's character a little more before she departed. I mean, Clementine spent two years with Christa, but yet, we, as the the player, don't know much about her.
I have to admit I was not a huge fan of Christa at first. I didn't dislike her, but I didn't like her either but I LOVED Omid. However after the loss of Omid, although she partially blamed Clem for it, she still single handedly raised Clem for 16 months and lost her baby in that time too. So I really want to see Clem and Christa finally reunited especially now Clem has AJ with her. Christa lost her baby, now she can have a fresh start with Clem and AJ.
Also we were pretty sure Kenny died but we never saw his body and he returned so I won't believe Christa is dead until we see her body.

Yes, whether she returns or not, I think her story deserves closure
Personally, I do not want to see her return. I liked her alright, yes, but it would feel too much like another Kenny moment. What are the odds of finding somebody again after you've been separated for a long time in an apocalyptic word? I think Telltale should tell us what happened to her, but if they reunite it would feel too much like an "I got lucky, I guess." moment.

I can't really see Christa coming back. I mean it was weird to even see Kenny survived. I wasn't glad to see Kenny because it just seemed kinda unrealistic considering he has like a 99% chance of death. Personally I wouldn't be happy to see Christa back because it seems to me she's unknown or dead. But what do I know Telltale plot armor works in weird ways.

An interesting concept. But I had a thought, what if once introduced to one another, it will become an obsession for Christa. Oh, I hope it doesn't come to that.
I just want to know if she survived or not. Plus, I want her and Clementine to be reunited.
