Clementine: The Ultimate Side Kick
I"ll come out and say it, playing as Clem was not my cup if tea. I love her she's the most drawn out character I've seen in a video game but playing as her was a real boring drag. Since you were a kid you couldn't have any relationships with adults except that chicken shit one they tried to do with Bonnie in No Going Back (FAILURE). Also many of the dialogue options are extremely identical. I think the choices themselves have been very watered down since she's a kid. She couldn't kill Carver or Mike, She can't kill the Russians I mean these would be interesting points in the game but they're not there. I know people are sick of the whole adult male thing or whatever but its whats best. Clementine is a great character just not a good protagonist. She should remain the Robin to S3's protagonist's Bat Man.

Well, she is a kid...
Think about it: You are a kid in ZA, then they have a big community and a big bad guy.
Then your group escape.
Then they let you kill the big bad guy.
Makes all sense, cool.
God, I can't understand that people... in one side, they say: '' Oh, Clementine is too badass '', and in other side '' Oh, Clementine is not that badass and can't do nothing ''.
I'm tired.
I disagree. I feel Season 2 is way stronger than Season 1 and Clementine was a big reason for it. It gives a feeling of true helplessness and really being on your own because even though she always had people with her Clementine was really on her own this time around. Its not like Lee who treated her like his own daughter. These people even Kenny could give a rats ass about Clem.
I hated playing as clementine
I don't think I agree with anything you just said...
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if the majority of fans disagree with it.
Me too. IMO they should of had someone else making the choices if they wanted Clementine to be main protag.
Playing as Clementine was a breath of fresh air. So many games I've played that felt so wrong portraying little girls/kids in a dark world. I felt Telltale did right with her, didn't feel as though any punches were being pulled and no shitty romantic relationship being forced down our throats. Our goal was to prepare Clementine for a dark apocalyptic world in S1 and in S2 see how it plays out.
I felt it was like LOTR, i mean Clementine is basically a hobbit LOL.
If Clementine is a hobbit then Arvo is Smeagol.
Yeah. Season 1 was better for me. I don't think season 2 is as realistic. Think about it. Why would they let a little girl have a say in all the big decisions? I get that Clementine is not just any little girl, but I'd rather play as an adult and have Clementine at my side.
I agree, but only to a degree. Clementine isn't protagonist material, but she had potential to become one in Episode 1 and 2. But afterwards the willing suspension of disbelief started to get harder to maintain during Episode 3 and 4, and then went flying out the window in 5.
Ellie from The Last of Us: Left Behind was more believable as a protagonist than Clementine was.
Wouldn't it be a little weird because she's says her own words in season 1 then she's says what you want in season 2 then you want to switch it back to her own words in season 3 would be a bit different in my opinion
Okay i'm going to say something that I know for a FACT that people will disagree with.
Takes a deep breath

Please don't kill me!
I agree, I relate to Clementine more than I did with Lee and I enjoyed playing as her more than I did playing as Lee. It may be unpopular, but I don't care, it's my opinion.
I thought I was the only one who had this opinion. Thank You Q_Q
Clementine: The Ultimate Everything Always
Fixed it. You're welcome.
That's a funny way to spell "Protagonist."
Great character bad protagonist
