Where in the U.S. would you like to see Season 3 take place?
I'd like to see it take place out west.
For example, I had Clementine leave Wellington with Kenny.
And I think that the best thing to do, would to have another timeskip, say a year or two, and open the game showing Kenny and Clementine in a pickup, driving west on interstate 40.
Say they're heading for California.
And the goal of this entire Season, is getting across New Mexico safely.
Having them deal with bandits, wild animals, the blistering heat of the desert, and of course, walkers.
And if Season 3 has a new playable character, perhaps we have that character meet Kenny and Clementine on the road, and they end up traveling together.
( Incidentally, Clementine's personality has been shaped by the player's decisions in Season 2.)
And we are shown glimpses of the PC character's past, in dream sequences, and a few personal items.

I'd like New Mexico to be the setting, would remind me of Breaking Bad!
Somwhere in the mountains, where the undead can not climb after you.
But this idea will not happen.
Well I told Kenny at the truck that we should go to mexico, and mexico is where we shall go !
I want it to take place in Wellington and maybe season 4 in Pennsylvannia and New York
Why you want a taco?
Yes.
I want to see the ZA version of the American Southwest. Maybe Utah or Arizona.
"Wait, what?! F*** that. I was thinkin' more like Texas" - Mike
I'd like to see what the coast would be like. They could live on a beach So any state with a beach, I think it would be cool to see. Maybe a full community could live on the beach, with boats so they could catch fish.
Who says though that The Walking Dead has to remain in America. I mean there are other countries. Although most Americans think otherwise.
I'm sure that someone will link me a quote where the creator states it has to remain there. If true, how idiotic is that.
I mean this disease or whatever is causing the Walkers, is supposed to be worldwide. Yet, all we hear about is the states.
Having read others commenting on this, you have to admit it's a valid point.
Considering I live on the east coast of the U.S and in the State that S2 calls home (that being Virginia), at least until they reach Wellington, I like the story being close to where I live. I wouldn't mind seeing the west coast though i suppose
I have 2 places I'd like to see:
It doesn't need to remain in America, though The Walkind Dead (either game or tv series/comics) follow the story of the certain group of survivors and until they found some way to travel to London or Tokyo for example we'll see everything from their point of view. That means USA for now.
For Number 1, the new Walking Dead spinoff series, The Walking Dead Cobalt, will be taking place in Los Angeles and take place at the start of the outbreak.
TW can be a series like CSI Law and Order
Somewhere away from the looping path of endless friggin pines! After the seventh loop it kinda wears on your sanity, and by the tenth you're just wishing the game would kill you or they'd loop a street instead so you could escape the tens of thousands of cloned pine trees that had to be in practically every shot they could sneak into [and wave from a distance in Harm's Way] and even have a song about them too...even though it's a really nice song, BUT PLEASE NO MORE I BEG OF YOU!!!
Wait what was the question again? Oh right. Um the coast, somewhere near the coast with beaches and cliffs and such. It would just be an interesting setting to see, and if anybody's had the same ideas as Kenny as to get a boat and sail out to some island somewhere.
Just please, anywhere away from these assholes T_T
A looping path of palm trees would be a blessing at this point.
Somewhere in southern Missouri? Just off the top of my head.
Suggestions?
Let's see why the Walking Dead takes place in America:
Creator is from America. Makes it a lot easier to write about if it takes place in his own country.
The Walking Dead follows the story of a certain character(s) who live in America. With flying basically out of the question, and boats dangerous, them moving anywhere is a difficult tale to tell, and in-universe wise makes little to no sense.
The Walking Dead comics and show historically takes place in Georgia, although this is changing. Despite half the comics NOT taking place in Georgia, people still think that Walking Dead = Georgia
America has lots of still untapped potential that's greater than entire other countries. It has many different landscapes, deserts, mountains, plains, coasts, and everything in between.
Majority of audience are Americans, makes it more relatable. Also, America is very diverse population wise.
I'm sure there's more reasons though.
That Taco looks pretty good.
I'm getting hungry, Lol!
I want it to stay in the north, I'm a Texan and there's two seasons all year round. Lukewarm and hot.
Las Vegas in the apocalypse would be cool.
Germany!!!
I agree with that. I just hope they don't go overboard with it.
Alaska
In the pines
Yeah I too hope we don't have another snowy pine tree season.
I want Florida ouo
We need to get the fuck back to Georgia. We have Nate, Lily and Molly there and whoever's retarded plan to go further on North isn't working and we need to head back down south. I don't even know if we can count on the walkers being so slow seeing as how fast they were moving in No Going Back.
But they eventually end up frozen. Also, out of curiousity - even if Molly, Lilly or Nate are still alive, do you honestly think that they're still in Georgia? There is a high chance they went somewhere else just like our characters.
Lily didn't have the gas to get anywhere else and she wanted to stay there. Nate seems like he's happy where he was. Molly may be the only one that left but she had a good think with Savannah what with the bell. And yes they do freeze the walkers however more people are likely to freeze before that and with so many scavengers with next to nothing its liable to happen
