Do you think we'll ever see Daryl get into a fistfight?
As memory serves, Daryl has never been in a fistfight, the whole time he's been on the show.
We've already seen Rick, Tyreese, and Abraham, kick ass on the show.
But never Daryl, not with his fists anyway.
So what do you think?
Will we ever see Daryl in a brawl?

Wait tell Negan comes into the story. You might see Daryl doing all kinds of things then.

It's interesting because Daryl has never seemed to need to resort to fistfighting because of his crossbow...
However, there was that one time that he was pinned to the car and beaten by the group he was with...his name is slipping my mind. It was the scene where Carl was about to be molested or possibly raped, and so Rick ripped out his throat. Daryl was pinned to the car and beaten, but that wasn't a fair fight so we haven't seen what he could do.
Anything could happen...so, who knows? Maybe he will :P
The show sticks very closely to its character roles. Those who follow the comic though know that there is stuff coming up once they get to Washington that would force characters to become more than just a Samurai or a bowman.
Oh yeah, that was Joe and his murauders.
Still I don't think that can qualify as a brawl.
Daryl got his ass whipped good by those guys, and would've been killed, if it had not been for Rick tearing Joe's throat out with his bare teeth.
No, I was thinking more like, the type of brawl we saw between Rick and the Governor.
A bare-knuckled, no-holds-barred, fight-to-the-death, fistfight!
Ah yes! Joe. And yeah, that doesn't qualify as a fight. I was just thinking, that's really the only hand to hand(ish) combat Daryl's gotten into as far as I can remember.
The fight between Rick and the Governor was awesome
it would be awesome to see another one like it with Daryl. How would you want it to go down?
He kind of did when he got into that fight with that one cop in Crossed
Yeah, I think we will. Big things are going to happen in the show, and I'd be surprised if we didn't see Daryl get into a one on one scrap, hell, it could be against someone in the group. We'll find out soon enough!
It will be interesting to see when they start that storyline and what role they have Daryl play in it (since Daryl isn't in the comics). They still have a lot to cover before Negan comes into the picture.
Especially when you consider how strong Daryl is.
Daryl's obviously no slouch.
I think in a fight, Daryl would be an animal!
I remember when Daryl stared-down Bob, after Bob risked the safety of the entire group, all for a bottle of booze.
Daryl looked like a snarling wolf, as he warned Bob that if he took a single drink, before the group got the medicine they needed, that Daryl would kick his ass.
That was so cool, to see Daryl assert his dominance, as well as his concern for the sick back at the prison.

Anyway, they won't be able to just spring it up out of nowhere. Daryl wouldn't choose fists if there was a quicker and less risky option. It would only be a last resort option. Will that scenario arise? If the show continues to be successful then undoubtedly we will see it.
Well I must admit, it would be a nice change.
Rick has become the main action-hero on the show.
It'd be nice to see Daryl get some screen time, in that sense.
Cause right now, the show seems to be portraying that Daryl's bark, is far worse than his bite.
To be honest, seeing Rick leading the group has become a bit boring. It would be interesting seeing Daryl take charge, which I don't think has happened on the show.
I'd like to see Daryl get into a fist fight with Lucile, if you know what I mean.
God no. Rick is a much more interesting character than Daryl IMO

I've kinda gotten bored with him as leader. He showed up at the camp in Season 1 and was pretty much in charge from the start. I'm not saying have Daryl as a permanent leader, but just for an episode or so while Rick is either separated from the group or unable to lead.
I have to admit, I to am curious to see how Daryl would be as a leader.
Not saying I'd want him to replace Rick, but I would like their to be an episode where Rick gets captured by hungry cannibals or something, and it falls to Daryl to take charge of the group, and lead them in a mission to rescue their beloved leader, and Rick's best friend.
And in that situation, it would be appropriate for Daryl to take charge, given that he's Rick's right hand man.

He had a short fight with Merle and a little scuffle with that guard he hit with the zombie head.
