Who Were You Glad to See Go?

It can be any character from either season and any reason. For me it came down to Molly and Kenny. Molly was only around for one episode, she did a pretty good job of annoying me but Kenny wins with the hogging of the spotlight and just being such an asshole.

Jane, Christa, Rebecca, Alvin, overbearing S2 Kenny,
Omid, Clementine to a extent, as in seeing her walk off with Kenny was happy, so i was happy for her, to not have to suffer through S3.

  • Jane should have been Molly. They were practically the same person.

  • Larry, Christa, Carver, and Troy, their deaths/disappearances brought me great joy.

  • I wasn't particularly happy about any characters dying, but Danny St John and Troy came pretty close. Especially in Danny's case.

On another note, that's a really great screenshot

Thanks, Danny St. John that guy was a super creep before we found out he was a cannibal. The only thing about him was killing him in front of Clementine, it made me spare Andy. I kind of regret that.

  • Molly and Jane.

  • Molly, Jane, Lilly, Christa.

  • Troy. You hurt Clem intentionally, you got to go.

  • I was never glad to see anyone go honestly, I like them all.

  • Kenny i was so happy(For the same reason you posted)

  • except Molly was likable~

Jane should have been Molly. They were practically the same person.

  • Larry, Lilly and Ben - Season One

The whole of the cabin crew, with one exception Pete. The only decent one among them and the quickest to go.
Carver and Reggie as they dared to touch Clementine. Same applies to Arvo, Troy, Mike and Bonnie.
Then of course Jane. Such a cop out of a character.

  • Lilly and Larry where the only characters who I just wanted to fuck off

  • All Reggie did was touch Clem's hat, it wasn't like Carver or Troy who actually hit her, he just awkwardly patted Clem's hat. And besides, I get a kick out of the look Clem gives him.

The "big deal" is that he worded it rudely and we've already had countless anti-Kenny threads. Comments like those are just going to encourage more and probably start yet another flame war. You can give your answer without subjectively calling the character an asshole.

Well it is his opinion and it really didn't seem that rude

    • Kenny - Nuff said
    • Reggie- Literally cheered on Carver
    • Brie- No you dont get a say BYE

There the only three main non intentional antagonistic characters I think I didnt feel anything but good when they died

Honourable didnt really give a damn either way mention

    • Sarita
    • Mark
    • Luke
    • Alvin

Like I said, it's not about his opinion, it's how he worded it. There's a difference between civilly saying why you disliked a character and just flat-out using insults. This has caused plenty of fights before. I'm really not in the mood to argue over this, I'm just trying to explain why this kind of thing is problematic.

  • I think you can hate on a fictional character as much as you like, besides there's no need to talk about it. This is a thread about characters you were happy died so of course people are going to be doing that in good humour.

You would not believe how many times I wanted to point that out, but I also didn't want to start an argument.

  • I am really sick today I was hoping this would give me some laughs and it has. Keep your hate directed at characters from the game and who cares I don't want to argue I just want to see what people have to say. And my post is rude but oh well.

    Kenny and Jane, easily.

    • Bonnie
    • Arvo
    • Larry(even though I tried to save him)
  • I liked Larry and tried very hard to get him to like me. I think the best I did was to get him to clam up instead of threatening me. To bad he was such a jerk it is hard to feel bad for him.

  • Troy and Winston deserved their painful deaths.

At first I was happy to see Carver get his face torn off, but in retrospect his death's left me rather bitter. Not only does the season suffer without his presence, but it turns out that his death was just one more excuse to prop Kenny up.

I would have been happy to see Kenny die if 1. the game didn't try (and hilariously fail) way too hard to make you feel bad and 2. he wasn't determinant. A brave writer would have killed him off back in episode 3 and shut up the fans once and for all.

  • S1- Brenda and Crawford

400 Days- The fat cop guy (Clyde or Bennett, who cares?) and Dee

S2- Jane, Michelle, Sarah, and Bonnie.

  • I think the only reason she wasn't was because Bonnie and Molly share a voice actor, so having them both together in a group would be weird.

Jane should have been Molly. They were practically the same person.

  • That may be true...but they've done it before. Bigby and Woody have the same voice actor too.
