  • To each his own.

I'm the exact opposite. I feel that last week's episode was one of the worst they've ever done and this one was great.

  • I didn't find last week's episode to be very good either. They killed a character just for the sake of killing them. It was a pretty cheap way to try and strike at emotions/ make an episode. They did try and be... artsy about it... but it was still a massive waste and didn't really accomplish much except to add to the already depressing atmosphere that was created with Beth's death. Disappointing way for the character to go out.

While I enjoyed last week's episode immensely and is one of my favorites, this episode is, without a doubt, the worst episode of TWD I have

  • I guess the tornado picked up the walkers?

This episode was not good.I found myself wanting all the characters besides Rick to die, they all pissed me off. Also the walkers just happened to give up trying to get in? And then they all saw fit to go to sleep without keeping watch?

  • Can't say that I blame him. Beth (someone he really cared about) was taken on his watch. He lost her, then was ultimately unable to save her.

    Great, Daryl's become emo.

  • Still pisses me off that Beth's dead.

He's a very important character from the comics. The show is about to make a drastic change in the coming episodes.

    Same.

  • That panel looks so good closer up now. But it will never beat this one:

Best final panel of any volume. In fact, the last 3 pages of it were amazing.

That scene was so good in the comic, and the governor looks so much more intimidating in this version.

  • It was a filler episode really, nothing super exciting. Some nice character development, but the only memorable thing was the ending with Aaron, it had me freaking out. Alexandria Safe Zone is coming, fuck yes!!!!

And the "We Are the Walking Dead" line should have been saved for a better moment IMO. When it happened in the comics it was amazing, not so much in this episode.

Still though, am excited to see whats gonna go on with Aaron next episode :D

    Alexandria is coming :-)

This could mean that we may get a glimpse of Negan and The Saviors by the end of this season

  • But she got the group food! and made Gabe less of a pansy!

    I hate Sasha.

  • This episode Changed my life guys... Everything about it made me happy, It made me think through my life, and For the first time since my dad left, I smiled. Inside too. Not a fake smile to hide the pain, but a smile. I'm happy guys, I feel hyper too... This is my favorite episode of the walking dead by far... It may have been filler, But it felt right... It's amazing how writers can make you fell this way, when rick said "We are the walking dead", My heart flew into a different universe. So I say, Thank you Robert Kirkman, Thank you skybound. Thank you telltale, Thank you moderators for keeping this site happy, and thank you guys for posting this thread so i can say how i feel. Thank you. ^_^

  • Am I the only that really isn't liking the way the second half is going? These last two episodes in my opinion have been pretty bad. Although this one was better because of a few scenes, it isn't better by much. I really hope they start getting into the interesting stuff soon because I feel like literally nothing has happened in the last 2 episodes except for Tyreese's death.

  • Tyreese was killed because his actor was leaving to do another show

  • First episode back with Tyresse was great in my opinion and one of my favorite walking dead episodes to date, but this episode was trash in my opinion.(I might feel different on a second watch, I was kinda in a pissed off mood when I watched the first time lol.)

  • They go to a new community then "the show goes through a drastic change" which really means it becomes even more of a soap opera with zombies that sadly we'll have to endure until 2019(the time the new community's set's lease expires)

I'm so confused on where this show is trying to go. As far as the story line goes... basically nothing has been accomplished over the last two episodes in my opinion.

  • lol that's not how things work, it's the complete opposite.

  • Probably the most cringeworthy line in the comics. The show did it great though.

  • The episode was full of silly coincidences like that...

I would assume that the storm somehow dealt with them.

  • That was such a filler episode it hurt. One of my least favorite episodes, hopefully they pick it up next week with Aaron and actually get to Alexandria soon, instead of waiting awhile. Just...ugh. This show really frustrates me sometimes.

  • I thought it was rather slow. I guess thats because they wanted to convey the characters reactions to Beth and Tyreese's deaths, especially Daryl, Maggie and Sasha. But the ending was interesting. I wonder what Aaron's intentions are.

  • Yes,comics.

    Comics right?:0.

  • How can you not like this episode?I fucking loved it.Interesting character developement,"we are the walking dead" and Aaron! NOW GIVE ME MORGAN <3

  • I have a feeling we won't get to Alexandria until the last episode. Kind of like how they did Terminus.

  • I know! I was like, 'really Daryl? Self mutilation? I thought u were stronger than that'

    Great, Daryl's become emo.

  • After Sasha killed em I said, he'll yeah, that's the new prime rib-- they're gonna be grubbin tonight

    They ate Doge.

  • He is also gay. They said he would be on the show soon. I did not think it would be this soon.

He's a comic character. A very important comic character.

  • Free Red Lobster in the apocalypse.

  • It was probably a hurricane or nor'easter. Virginia is notorious for both.

I guess the tornado picked up the walkers?

  • The problem with these filler/Character development episodes is that the show doesn't have good enough dialogue to justify it. With the exception of Rick's story (which was cool) and Maggie & Sasha's heart to heart, 80% of the episode was them walking aimlessly and talking about nothing. And on another note: Abraham, Eugene, Rosita, Tara, and Gabriel are the only people in the group that speak like normal people. Everyone else does that dumbass whispering thing that just chaps my motherfucking hide. Ugh

I don't know. I guess I still liked it. But Aaron was definitely the best part. Oh, and Sasha instantly capping those dogs. It was fucked up, but kind of funny. And my GF capitalized on the moment by making a Chinese food joke.

Ah, Irene and Sandy. The few hurricanes we get here always cause issues.

    Nor'easters are always interesting.

And of course there's a snowstorm right now.

  • Yeah I hate that whisper shit too. It's like they did this all in one take and the directors didn't want to ruin the emotional state of the actors so they just moved on instead of having them do it again. Half the time I'm turning up the volume cause I can't hear a damn thing.

  • Did not enjoy this episode one bit. Definitely felt like one of the weakest. I just hope they don't continue this trend of bullshitting around till a cliffhanger ending.

  • It was kind of refreshing to see some bad weather for once. I swear in every WD episode it always looks beautiful outside.

My neck of the woods doesn't get hit with snow until later tonight. Hopefully it keeps me out of work. I need the time off.

  • Didn't like this episode. Which is surprising, considering how good last week's was. Although, Maggie stepping up at the end, was pretty cool. Thought the "We are The Walking Dead" speech was terrible. Was 100x better in the comic. Wasn't expecting them to find Aaron this soon, although it does makes sense if they're going to show Alexandria in the finale.
