Lol cabin group got such a tiny picture. Clearly the Motel group picture is superior due to it's size and draws more attention, I have to squint to see the Cabin group.
Even with their lack of development, at the time I remember thinking they were more functional than the Motel Group because everyone in the Cabin Group were friends while the Motel Group weren't on the best terms with each other. Plus the cabin group are truly fab, I have proof!

Lol look at this picture. I don't think it was done on purpose but still... maybe it's not size that matters. Personally I find a Cabin Group a little unfinished while I liked every single characters from the MG. So that's it.
I don't like Kenny but can't say he is a worse character than Carlos. Maybe if Genius stayed a little longer...
Lol Luke was a boring character imo while Lee was my second favorite
Carley is better. Nick didn't have a single line in episode 4 and even before I didn't really care about him.
Sarah is better. Duck was just a kid, killed only to make Kenny depressed. Sarah had her whole story.

Katjaa vs Rebecca. That one is hard. They are both badass but really different. I'd probably choose Katjaa. Her story is more dramatic and she is one of my favorites.
I liked Al but Larry is way better. And that voice acting...
I would also add Pete vs Lily, because their are the biggest badasses of their groups. And I don't know who to choose.

Both groups have every role, but looking at the leaders of the groups, motel group wins by a longshot.
Motel group has Lee, a badass who fought his way through the absolutely unbearable Savannah streets with a meat cleaver and one hand, while dying of blood loss.
Cabin group has Luke, who, spoiler alert, determinately died because he chose to hug a walker rather than slice it with his fucking machete that he has on him at all times.
Unless the cabin group has Merle, who fought his way out of Atlanta with one hand, no weapons, and survived, Cabin Group loses.
Not to mention, the motel group was part of an actual good game, meaning each character was properly developed, and with great themes behind them. Cabin group was part of the worst piece of The Walking Dead franchise, aside from maybe the prison in the comics, or a few of the webisodes (never watched them, so I don't know). This means that the cabin group got next to no development, and had next to no memorable characters.

While I have to go with the Cabin just because I found they're story more intresting, Clem and Carley are my two favorites of the series.
