If the ending was Kenny vs Christa

  • The point still stands that Kenny physically was not all that far away

Ok, the point still stands she was bitten partially because he wasn't physically there to help her through the herd. It doesn't matter if he were seven feet or seven-hundred feet away from her.

Who even knows what he was dealing with at the time of Sarita being bitten.

I seem to remember Clementine dealing with the same thing a more physically capable redneck was dealing with. And she had just happened to run into her before Kenny (who was physically not too far, mind you) even noticed that she was in mortal danger. Not looking too good for Kenny's defense.

I'm really failing to see why this is a big deal anyway

    This much I expected.

People were spread out, it is what it is

Yup', she died cause of Kenny's negligence. It is what it negligently is.

Arguing over the extent of which they were spread out is really pointless.

Actually, it's a point that is crucial to the event. He was off in la-la land and separated himself from another "loved one." And then blames a young girl because he loves to project his own failures. For someone who speaks so much about loyalty, he sure is never around when any of his beloved family are bitten... Ever wonder why?

Ok, the point still stands she was bitten partially because he wasn't physically there to help her through the herd. It doesn't matter if he were seven feet or seven-hundred feet away from her.

The distance has everything to do with it, as at the point of her being bitten, Kenny was reasonably close to her despite the fact that everything went to shit and he was being attacked by multiple walkers himself. At the start of everything falling apart, Sarita actually suddenly ran backwards to help with Sarah. After doing so, she called out for Kenny's help, to which he replied that he couldn't get to her. So when you consider the separation between the two of them at the point that she got bitten, and the fact that she had added to that separation herself by running back to help Sarah, and then factor in that Kenny was struggling to get over to her, it's just ridiculous to argue over whether or not Kenny was navigating through the herd in an irresponsible manner. Just because he failed to protect her doesn't mean he neglected her safety or caused her to die.

As I said above, Sarita ran backwards to Clem and Sarah. Clem was already there with her, and something was preventing Kenny from making his way over to them. We have no idea what Kenny was dealing with. It's entirely pointless to speculate or draw comparisons when have absolutely nothing to compare to. All we know is that it was enough to delay both him and Mike from making their way back over to where Clem and Sarita were. They were still fighting walkers at the point that Sarita got bitten (we see this at the start of episode four). There's nothing more to look into.

Actually, it's a point that is crucial to the event.

I was saying it was pointless to argue over in regards to it being actually impossible for us to judge that the level of separation between Sarita and himself was "too much". It's stupid to argue over.

He wasn't off in "la-la land", as explained above. Seriously, what are you even trying to say here? That the level of separation between him and Sarita was based on him not actually caring about her? That's ridiculous and really baseless. Why do you think he was so upset with her dying? Why do you think he even yelled at Clem in the first place?

As a whole here, you're trying way too hard to look into this scene in an effort to make some sort of vague criticism when there is no reasonable way you can do so.

Why would you have defended your original statement of "Kenny then proceeded to try to beat my Lee to death for trying to help his family" by saying "Kenny didn't have to take the bait" if you were simply making an exaggeration about his attitude? You were talking about baiting Kenny into a fight there, and you were trying to justify it. If you were only talking about his words, you wouldn't have even needed to try and provide justification for why you had gotten into a physical fight with him. I'm also not sure why you would use "tried to beat to death" to describe his words towards you, as that really makes very little sense.

But alright. I was only ever debating the point because it looked like you were specifically talking about Kenny actually fighting Lee on the train. I'm assuming that's what most people thought. If that's really not what you meant, then I'm glad that we're now on the same page.

I have done multiple playthroughs. In one, I talked Kenny down. In another, I fought with him. In both, Kenny was being extremely hostile. T

I'd save the one who didn't start the fight. Which would probably be Christa.

  • Yes, of course that's what meant. What else? But we can leave it at that since we're not understanding each other.

  • It depends if she was still being a bitch to Clem...
