No offense, but Jane said that when she thought the truck was still good to go. Although very weird that every outcome has the 9 days later time skip, guess they wanted it all to still stay sync, but whatever.
Actually no... Anyone that has been trained in firearms like "clementine." would know not to leave a gun lying around for any reason. You w… moreould think that she would keep that gun right next to her pillow at night, because of the state of the world she lives in, not leave it on a counter and walk off.
what always bothered me about the scene was not that she left the gun on the counter, but when she gets spooked by someone entering the room she doesn't think to grab her gun for protection....someone who's been using a gun for protection in the circumstances of the ZA you would think would automatically grab their nearest weapon....
ya know, I get she's a kid and people don't usually think logically under that kind of stress...you just react...but I still think her first instinct should've been to not leave herself so vulnerable
Trained in firearms? By history teacher? Clementine's kid, not a soldier. That room was empty, friends weren't far.
"I'm going for that bottle. WAIT, must take the gun. It's 2 meters away."
After Lee hits his head on the kitchen counter in Clementine's house, all it does is blur his vision for a few seconds, but he's completely … morefine after that. And then in the next episode, is knocked out with a gun.
Realism
Seriously, people complain about Clem being invincible, but no one talks about Lee at all.
I get that a lot. I was swimming about a month back when I was away at Centre Parcs, and a lady who bumped into me by accident, I overheard her talking to her friend and she called me a kid =_=

Two options.
Stay inside all Winter, or go to the other hemisphere where it will be summer.
My birthday is in July, which is winter here.
So I'd have to watch my back when my 27th birthday finally rolls around. (That's a good while yet though ).
But like I explained, ice lakes are not common here at all.
I probably have more chance of dying because two people decided to have sex... Don't know how but just sayin'.
No, that's not it. I'm just afraid because my birthday is during a cold time of year and there is a chance of ice will freeze over water and I'd very much like to live beyond my 27th birthday and all, you know?
None of Carver's goons or Carver notice the rope and ladder on the side building in the prisoners cell that can be exploited for escape because... Realism
I'm just saying he shrugged off several blows to the head, crashes, falls, possibly removing his own arm, and none of that hurt or killed him until the bite did. You have to admit that's bullshit.
The effects of Lee's injuries actually have presence though. Messed up leg? He spends the rest of the episode limping and falling over, even after Herschel treats it. Chopped off arm? Gradually weakens from blood loss. Walker Bite? Dies. Admittedly I can't explain away his lack of concussion after all of his head bumps. However, the human skull is pretty resilient. Even Kenny's gunshot wound from Andy St. John noticeably causes him pain the rest of the season.
Clem? The moment that dog bite is stitched up it ceases to exist. Gun shot to the shoulder = Still carrying around a baby in one arm, and supply bag in the other. And pretty much no blood loss to speak of. Fall into frozen water? No signs of hypothermia or nerve damage. (Bonnie too for that matter).

It was a trailer. As an 11 year old, with the right technique, just about anybody could kick down a trailer door. It would take quite a few tries, but still. You could.
Wait, Kenny gets shot in stomach by rifle... S1 E2, right? Unless there's some other time, this is what you're talking about, right? Because his wife clearly treated his wounds when they got back to the motel. She couldn't treat him in the moment because she didn't have the tools, and the place was being motherfucking overrun. They had to wait a short while.
Steps 1-6 and step 7 do not coincide with one another. Crying is not caused by being dark for the sake of being dark. It certainly isn't caused by reminding us that we have no agency whatsoever. It also isn't caused by proving how terrible characters are (even though it should be obvious enough that Jane is a crazy bitch).
I agree that season 2 wasn't as sad as season 1, but this didn't come from it not being dark enough. It was far darker and bleaker than Season 1. Season 1 ended with one of the two best characters (morally) dying, and the other being emotionally scarred forever. The last choice was choosing whether to scar the last remaining good character even more, but harden them to the world around them, as well as lay yourself to rest, or to get them to try to keep their humanity as much as humanly possible. Season 2, on the other hand, was a choice between bad person and bad person. No symbolism, no lasting impact on anybody you care about. Just bad people, and going your own way. The only hopeful thing in the whole ending cannot be impacted by your final decision.
As for step 8... That was really... Really incoherent. And kinda gross.
Lee hits his head on the kitchen counter, not to mention it's the temple, the weakest part of the head. When faced with enough trauma, it is enough to suffer a serious concussion, so hitting his head like he did on the counter and not suffering any sort of injury from that is beyond ridiculous. And beyond a simple grunt in the next episode, Kenny getting shot has basically no impact on him. He just gets right back up and walking right after that like it was nothing.
Clem even says thaat she is in pain when they are in the truck and you see the wound reopen and start bleeding during the fight between Jane and Kenny. And it's not a big detail, but one I like, in the Wellington ending, when you're running up the hill, you see her left arm barely moving as she's running, showing that she is still in pain from getting shot 9 days after it haappened.

Clem can chop of a hand in two hits with a hatchet.
But it takes Lee three hits with a fire axe, with a lot of momentum behind him to chop off a lower leg.
The later part of the season really went down hill honestly. I found myself enjoying it less and less as we continue, it's real sad cuz I love TWD very much. I play 201 and 202 much more than the rest of the episodes. ._.
I agree, eff both Amid the Ruins and No Going Back.
I guess I can say eff In Harms Way for being a huge let down after all that build up … moreCarver and his community had, the pointless 400 Days cameos save for just one character who is forced to go to said community no matter what, and how dull the entire community ended up in spite of being perceived as a slave/labour camp. Oh, and let's not forget risking an eleven year old girl to do everything to help break the group out.
So basically, eff the second half of Season 2.
How about how he continues to do all kinds of strenuous activities afterwards without getting overly winded or out of energy
He climbs a ladder all the way from the basement to the roof of a building one handed, carries an extension ladder across a building one handed, rings a giant bell one handed, jumps a building one handed, fights off zombies one handed, pushes a giant dresser one handed, jumps another building one handed, climbs down and up another ladder one handed, tries to pull a grown woman out of a hole one handed, crosses a sign one handed, climbs down a pipe one handed, fights through a herd of zombies one handed, wrestles with the stranger one handed, chokes the stranger out one handed, tries to open the jewelry store door one handed, and only then does he finally run out of energy. And that's over the entire course of a single afternoon.
I think we also should note the fact that size of a wrist and a thigh is very different. A wrist is thinner and smaller, and can be easy to cut. A thigh is larger and thicker, means you have to cut a bit more to completely detach the flesh. And let's not forget of either bone's thickness too.
It was a trailer. As an 11 year old, with the right technique, just about anybody could kick down a trailer door. It would take quite a few tries, but still. You could.
Like I said, I'll give you the head bump. But Kenny is still in pain after that gunshot. He drops Lee on their drugstore supply run and during their escape in Savannah (which almost gets Lee killed) because it still agitates him.
I'll have to take your word on the Wellington thing because I never noticed it. But even so, 5 minutes later she's carrying A.J. and a duffle bag like its no big deal. And she was still moving it normally during the blizzard scene as well. Now compare that to Bob Stookey when his shoulder was shot at the prison. He doesn't move that arm normally again. In fact, I think that's the one he ends getting bitten on.

Skip to about 6:25 when they start running, you see how Clementine's right arm is fine but her left is barely moving. The average baby weighs only about 5-8 pounds, or 2,500 - 4,000 grams, and considering the lack of food, I think it's safe the baby most likely weighs somewhere close to 5 pounds, that is not very heavy and does not require a lot of force to hold it, so I don't see why that should cause any pain, and if it does, it's probably very minimal.

I love your name so much
Oh right. Thanks for being more observant than me, I had totally forgotten the dialogue. Awkward
I think that was supposed to be a stray bullet like with Carlos

Well..... Lee died. Can't really use the plot armor argument with him.
HAHA yes pweeaaase!
And about the age thing, if people think you're still a kid at 26, then you're doing good. Be proud!

I could say a million things about the realism of Luke´s situation but...
You know what, I need a drink.
Nick is stupidly drunk and asks Clem to "Have a drink" with him. Clem accepts.

Lee can cut his own arm off, and manage to not bleed out, after passing out.

That's what I was expecting but... nope.
Put a thin cloth over the amputation.
It's all good.
Carver gets shot in the shoulder. Stands up, arm still working perfect.
Little girl gets shot in the shoulder, after nearly freezing to death in a lake. Proceeds as if nothing ever happened.

11 year old girl Bigby kicks a door down. "Realism"
For what it's worth, he had a tourniquet.
That's true
I dunno how well that would do, but then again, he didn't last long.

How To Kick Down A Trailer Door by Clementine
Christa will never come back because of realism.
Kenny's survival back in Savannah doesn't deserve an explanation because of realism.
You can easily kick down the door when you hit the spot below the knob (where Clem is kicking).
Like I said, I'll give you the head bump. But Kenny is still in pain after that gunshot. He drops Lee on their drugstore supply run and during their escape in Savannah (which almost gets Lee killed) because it still agitates him.
