Given how many people are still carping about some of the plot developments of S2 in this forum, I wouldn't be surprised if Telltale withheld information about S3 until the day it's actually released purely out of spite.

I cant stand those moments when you just try to think of what might be in the new season...and a few minutes later you totally lose your shit because you gotta play already
"I NEED IT" <------Indeed.
Until then I will probably exhaust both seasons and read this forum as there is probably quite a bit more before we get any more news. When was the trailer for Season 2 first released, compared to the ending of Season 1? I remember reading that the 400 Days DLC was released around 7 moths later, so as I said somewhere else if Telltale sticks with the same schedule we will hopefully get some sort of DLC soon, as in probably a month or two maximum, but that is just dreaming for now.
But who am I kidding, I really NEED Season 3 right now xD, to be honest I would even be fine if they dragged it a little longer but as a result we would also get a Season 4 confirmed. But I am already trying to grab more than I can carry.

i hope they learn from S2 a lot..i think it was a great season but season 1 completely blew my mind...i guess it also has something to do with the fact that i've never played a game of that kind before

One thing is for certain, if they do another DLC as they did for Season 1, it may be coming rather soon as 400 Days was released around 7 months after Season 1 if I am not mistaken.
A few more hubs I think would go a long way, it would allow us to understand the story better, get a feel of the world around us and give us time between the main events to better understand and contemplate on what happened. Episode 3 of Season 2 had that, but I wish it would have been more complex, I was curious of how Carver's "society" functioned and how the 400 Days characters felt there.

" Oh look, The Walking Dead game is so popular and succesful, so let's fucking PUT EVERYTHING ON HOLD INDEFINITELY AND WAIT WHO KNOWS HOW LONG FOR SEASON 3!!" Cause that makes total sense.
I mean really? Nothing for over year? 2015 is all they got? Gee, that's reassuring given that it is barely March and saying "2015" could mean December 2015.
I understand they got other games going, but this is nothing new. They know it works so why delay and delay and not even bother giving fans something more concrete?
Well, it takes time to make a game, and like you said they have other games going at the moment (most likely we don't know about a few yet) so a year seems like good enough time to get everything for season 3 in order while being able to do their other games as well.

yeah, a year seems like a long time because we got season 1 and season 2 so close together, but a lot of games, if not most games, take way longer than a year to make anyway....I just hope they don't take their time and then come out with something that's mediocre....

I agree, tell-tale ought to give something more concrete than just expect news in 2015. Excuse my scepticism, but I have heard that time and again over the years and nothing comes of it.
So, if tell-tale are doing a third season, just let us know for definite. Maybe a hint or two to what the storyline is.
That way, most wouldn't care how long it takes, because at least there will definitely be a game at the end.

agree on that man...more hubs will:
1)increase play time
2)increase depth of story
3)increase play time
4)increase play time
5)satiate the craving for the walking dead for a little longer
6)and increase play time

I think TellTale is slowly turning into Rockstar Games.Just delaying their most anticipated game a day after another, but in the same time releasing some other great stuff to help pass the wait.
I think it's more likely that Telltale are going to release TWD S3 alongside Minecraft, like they did with S2 and TWAU. I don't see the Super Show happening till at least 2017. They're most likely going to finish TFTBL and GOT in mid or late 2015, then start Minecraft around November/December, and S3 around January or February.
Season 3 probably won't be out until late 2016, maybe early 2017.
They have GoT and TftB running for probably a good rest of 2015, then t… morehey got Minecraft Story Mode and their Super Show stuff.
I dunno, I certainly don't expect the game this year, probably next year though.

After the Ice Broke and Some of them Fell in, That one must have still been afloat
Wait a minute, that's a question. How did the wal… moreker stay afloat like that, and suddenly then goes 'hey I'm gonna sink, now which one of you assholes shall I take with me?' what....how...I DON'T GET IT!
The Walking Dead: Season 1 ran from April 24, 2012 - November 20, 2012. Season 2 was confirmed by TellTale July 2012. The Walking Dead: Season 2 ran from December 17, 2013 - August 26, 2014.
EDIT: I just realized that it's been 6 months since the end of Season 2. So I predict we might have the possibility of a December 2015 release depending on when TellTale wants to release Minecraft.

I sure would be, because on the one hand, you have people utilizing a forum for what it's intended for, and on the other, you have a whole company of people acting like petulant children. Yeah, one side would come out looking the worse in that equation, and it sure as hell wouldn't be us. I could understand getting angry at some actual personal attacks on the writers themselves, although it'd still be stupid to punish everyone for the actions of the few. But for voicing disappointment in their product? That'd be a pretty big self-defeating blow to their credibility.
Luckily, I hold absolutely no ill will towards Telltale themselves, and I don't believe they'd do that. I'm quite sure they're a bunch of cool people. But cool people can still be criticized.

I agree. They JUST announced the "Supershow" concept and partnership with Lionsgate. TWD: Season 3 was announced well before Minecraft also. For all we know, the story for Season 3 could be already established and they are into the next phase.

We are still waiting for some information about season 3 but what about season 2 DLC? Maybe we will continue the tales from the season 1 DLC group? What do you think about this idea?

Well, what they get here is simply critique in the end, and the polite kind of critique. A lot of people play this game so different opinions were to be expected. I don't think they've reached the death threat phase just yet, which is good.

You may very well be right, but I hope that's not the case. At least it's confirmed, I am fine with that as it is.
How long have we been tearing S2 apart? Feels like it went on for too long. I'm very certain they got the point by now. ._.

Season Two was, still and always AMAZING! I so love it! *__*
The break between Season 1 and Season 2 was 13 months. Tomorrow will be a half second off-season Second season.
P.S. Cool avatar, rabbit ^^
I hope there will be a DLC for season 2. I'm hoping it will be about the "16 months later..."

Me too, maybe we could get those 16 months in Christa's perspective.

And when Episode 1 arrives, Clementine dies within the first minute.
The. End.

Of course! Because They're Telltale! The company who can get away with anything they want by being depressing as fuck!

Finally,an original fucking title from TellTale(all respect to other games including TWDG).
We are still waiting for some information about season 3 but what about season 2 DLC? Maybe we will continue the tales from the season 1 DLC group? What do you think about this idea?
Maybe... or they can make 6 episodes for season 3 like with GoT, instead of DLC for season 2.
