Did I hurt your feelings? 'Realism' was quite literally the explanation used for why Christa's fate won't be resolved - I'm pointing out the double standard that's a hallmark of Season 2's sub-par writing.
But we're talking about someone who is already fucking badass, before the cut, and someone who is running on almost pure adrenaline. Adrenaline is fucking crazy sometimes, man.
How about how he continues to do all kinds of strenuous activities afterwards without getting overly winded or out of energy
He climbs a … moreladder all the way from the basement to the roof of a building one handed, carries an extension ladder across a building one handed, rings a giant bell one handed, jumps a building one handed, fights off zombies one handed, pushes a giant dresser one handed, jumps another building one handed, climbs down and up another ladder one handed, tries to pull a grown woman out of a hole one handed, crosses a sign one handed, climbs down a pipe one handed, fights through a herd of zombies one handed, wrestles with the stranger one handed, chokes the stranger out one handed, tries to open the jewelry store door one handed, and only then does he finally run out of energy. And that's over the entire course of a single afternoon.
Well then it was luck she got it so fast. I can't say that this luck was too too unbelievable, compared to some of the other shit they tried to slip by us.

It was a trailer. As an 11 year old, with the right technique, just about anybody could kick down a trailer door. It would take quite a few tries, but still. You could.
True. When I was younger, my 6 or 7 year old brother almost broke the door down on our trailer. Only the 4-5 year old me pressing against it kept it from breaking.
Do you reckon it'll be acceptable if I rang up a trailer park and inquired for the opportunity to kick in their trailer doors.
I need a practical experiment, because at the moment this is all just theoretical to me.
I think Clem should of Dragon Kicked that shit in. Like you say, since weaker people can kick them in that style kick would be unnecessary, but Season 2 would of gained +1000 respect points.
Rather than mow down the cabin group on the spot with his AK to save time. Carver decides to give the group a farewell speech like a cliche bond bond villain before being foiled.
A legless Mark crawling on the ground floor to reiterate that we just ate him suddenly at the top of the stairs to have Brenda for lunch because......Realism

I think we also should note the fact that size of a wrist and a thigh is very different. A wrist is thinner and smaller, and can be easy to … morecut. A thigh is larger and thicker, means you have to cut a bit more to completely detach the flesh. And let's not forget of either bone's thickness too.
the whole point of this thread is for people to bring up cases like Kenny's miraculous survival and Christa's disappearance...if you don't wanna read about it then you shouldn't read the thread
Well for all we know, they could have been living at Howe's for most of the apocalypse and didn't have much experience actually surviving and constantly being on the move.
Carver (a full grown white male with a huge chip on his shoulder) gives a "were not so different you and I comic book villain speech" to a little black girl cause realismmmms.
Well for all we know, they could have been living at Howe's for most of the apocalypse and didn't have much experience actually surviving and constantly being on the move.
They could have. In the comics, there were people who lived in Alexandria I believe since the start of the apocalypse, so it's believable that the cabin group was there since the beginning. You have Sarah, who Carlos even says didn't know how bad the world was, so it makes sense that they found Howe's early in the apocalypse, explaining why someone like Sarah would have a lack of knoweldge about the world now.
Ok, maybe it applies to Carlos and Sarah but not to the others? I don't know but I guess it does make sense if they were there the whole time due to their mistake with the person who got bit.

Bonnie also says that Luke and Carver had differing ideas on how to run Howe's, meaning that Luke was probably one of the main leaders of Howe's or was Carver's right hand man at one point, so it maakes sense for him to be there for a while if not since the beginning when it was starting out. And since Luke and Nick were friends, it makes sense for Nick to be there since the beginning as well, along with his mother and Pete. So really, all that leaves are Alvin and Rebecca. Due to her pregnancy, they had to have been there for at least 9 months, and since she said she used to do a lot of the announcements back in the day, her and Alvin were also probably there for a long time if not since the beginning.

Wow, you guys are getting REALLY anal about this.
Did I hurt your feelings? 'Realism' was quite literally the explanation used for why Christa's fate won't be resolved - I'm pointing out the double standard that's a hallmark of Season 2's sub-par writing.
The realism comic slide you made was good you gonna make another @Lilacsbloom
Yes I've got some more made, I'll post them tomorrow hopefully.
Had some sick moves just beforehand though.
How many tries did she get? I think eventually, so long as her first instinct was to kick, instead of shoulder ram, she would've gotten it eventually.
The badass responsible for the most kickass scene in the game is a dying cripple. Huh.
But we're talking about someone who is already fucking badass, before the cut, and someone who is running on almost pure adrenaline. Adrenaline is fucking crazy sometimes, man.
She took 2 kicks (the 2nd being the strongest).
Well then it was luck she got it so fast. I can't say that this luck was too too unbelievable, compared to some of the other shit they tried to slip by us.
Realism!
lol nice
I think trailer doors are commonly weak.
Do you reckon it'll be acceptable if I rang up a trailer park and inquired for the opportunity to kick in their trailer doors.

Not to me. It's definite. I've seen smaller and weaker people than Clementine almost break down trailer doors. As I said to Megan above.
lolno.
Out of this entire thread, Kenny's survival is literally the only thing that really bugged me.
I think Clem should of Dragon Kicked that shit in. Like you say, since weaker people can kick them in that style kick would be unnecessary, but Season 2 would of gained +1000 respect points.
Season 3:
"CHRISTA!?"
(Christa has large beard) "Hello Clem?"
"How did you survive the ambush back in the woods?"
"I got lucky... real lucky".
Yeah, we get really anal about this sort of thing
Lee cuts his arm off and manages to open a door with his amputated arm.
Realism

cuz Realism yo
Kenny can dodge an AK-47 bullet.
REALISMMMMM
Push Andy into an electric fence, he survives
Kick him into the same fence instead, he dies
Realism

No, I'm just tired of hearing the same shit SIX MONTHS AFTER THE RELEASE OF THE LAST EPISODE. Grow up, move on.
If you actually watch it, he doesn't chop at the thigh, He chops below the knee. So, a big difference indeed.
Oh, so it was calf/shin area. Still, it's thinker than the wrist.

He meant in survivors terms
Yeah, I guessed that but still they survived two years. They couldn't have been at Howe's the whole time right?
I know, just having a laugh looking at it a certain way.
They could have. In the comics, there were people who lived in Alexandria I believe since the start of the apocalypse, so it's believable that the cabin group was there since the beginning. Thanks but no thanks, I'm not much of a writer. You'd be better off without my help.
