So, it's been a while without news. We had a few problems these last few weeks.
One of our animators (John Lao) left a while ago, so we had to re-plan some things. And if that wasn't enough, we also had some problems converting our character model to SFM.
We're sorting things out now, and we should be back on track again soon.

Just checked out the teaser trailer. Voice acting and animation is actually pretty good for a fan project. When is this story set to take place during the apocalypse? Just wondering because it seems like the characters know too much about what is going on and how to respond to it for it to take place at the very beginning.
Appearance: White male, 1 back and sides, brown hair pushed back on top, 5 o'clock shadow, scar across lip, wears a half mask
Personality: Slightly psychopathic, loves a good fight, short temper but loyal to those he cares about
Skills: Pin-point accuracy with knife throwing, decent shooting, parkour, spent three years learning how to fight
Signature weapons: Pantera claws (If you don't know what they are just search google images), uses pretty much any knife as a throwing knife
Other Info: English (if setting is another country he could have been on holiday when the outbreak happened), he cares for his niece, Jess, more than anything in the world. He feels he has to protect her as her father died many years before the outbreak and her mother went missing at the start of it. He is almost a different person when he talks to her.
I also thought of what he would be like if his girlfriend died (i had a long aeroplane flight recently and kinda just came up with a bunch of walking dead shit)
Hunter sits holding his dead, blood-covered girlfriend in his arms. His friend walks through the door and finds him "Hunter?" he says
Hunter sits there for a few seconds with his head down. He the raises his head and starts to laugh. An insane sounding laugh. Still laughing he says "She's dead..." He continues to laugh and then repeats himself a few times. His friend leans over and puts his hand on his shoulder but the second he touches him, Hunter jumps up and begins to throttle him against the wall. His friend tells him to calm down and back off and he does so slowly. He starts to laugh again and then his anger and rage suddenly surfaces and he screams and punches the dry wall six times, making a different hole in it each time. He turns his back to the wall, leans against it and slowly slides down until he reaches the floor. He hangs his head and stays there giving his friend no response whatsoever, despite his constant calling out to him, for a few minutes and then gets up. He grabs a bat and then walks outside and walks into a group of at least 20 walkers and fucks them up.
Second character
Name: Jess Mason
Age: 11
Appearance: White female, brown hair hanging just below shoulders, cute face, wears a flowery dress
Personality: Innocent, cute, wants to help everyone
Skills: Shooting (Hunter taught her)

Appearance: Black male, black dreadlocks, full beard, big and beefy, 6 foot 6
Personality: Quiet, doesn't like being in big crowds, doesn't really care whether or not he has friends but when he does make friends he will protect them no matter what

The story takes place in the beggining of the apocalypse.
The teaser doesn't have an established place in the timeline as it's purpose was to show some of the characters and their thoughts on everything.
Intresting characters Rebel-Jd hunter looks like a guy with emotional issues going on but at the same time can be a kind and caring guy but if you anger him he can go ape on ya a very intresting character we will have to of course consider and of course well consider jess

Hunter is the sort of guy not to take shit from anybody, he generally tends not to get along with figures of authority unless he knows for certain they are doing what is best for those they lead and is friends with said figure of authority. He is quick to start a fight if you are undermining, condescending or rude in any way to him or those he cares about but in this world the number of people he truly does care about is limited.
I was thinking he should have a sister (besides Jess' mother) who would either die fairly early on in the ZA or stick with him throughout and be there for him when his girlfriend dies. Speaking of which i was also thinking he would meet his girlfriend after the ZA started but at first they wouldn't get along. They would bicker a lot and despite Hunter's temper he found it very difficult flip shit at her no matter how irritated he would get in their arguments. But eventually they would get together and then after a long relationship she would die, whether it was a walker or a person, or whether it was an accident or on purpose.
Also Hunter was in prison when the ZA happened. He hadn't been given a sentence yet but he was in a holding cell, arrested for kicking shit out of some guy that got rude to him in a club. After his second night there he realised there was no longer any police officers there. Or anyone for that matter. It was at that point that two police officers came through but they were both walkers. Then [insert name here] came to his rescue and helped him find his niece at his sister-in-law's house.
Jess would try to be independent but could never help receiving and accepting advice from one particular person (either Hunter, his gf, his sister or someone else she would develop a bond with). She would also constantly be trying to prove that she is a valuable asset to the group and more than once it has gotten her into some trouble. But no matter how bad it gets she has always gotten herself out of it one way or another.
Juru doesn't really make many friends, as I said in his character profile. He sticks to himself because of something that happened a few months into the apocalypse. He had still never really been any different before the ZA but a woman finally convinced him to trust her. She got close to him and made a place for herself in his heart. He eventually fell in love. She told him she felt the same way and for a while things were going well. Just him and her against the world. But one night it all went wrong when he went to see her after clearing a building. She jumped him. She put a knife through his chest and left with all of Juru's things, leaving him with absolutely nothing. But before she left she leaned in close and whispered one last thing "Did you really think it was real? Did you really think we were in 'love'? Well I can't blame ya. I'm a good lookin gal, but you were pretty stupid to trust me, or anyone for that matter. Well... Have fun babe." He barely survived and once he recovered he got moving but he was a changed man. He was cold and distrustful now. He walked down the road only to find his former love as a walker with her insides spilling out of her. He worked with other groups when it benefited him but he never truly trusted anyone again until he met the "Untold" group.

i mean u were a stranger on youtube and you donated to a project being run by a bunch of people you dont even know and to be honest we thank you ur a good person goofyoldguyplays thanks to you we were able to fund a good bit of things we need
ps: goodluck on ur youtube channel by the looks of it its quality videos ill have to check it out later
well pretty much season 1 is done every character has been casted and the writing is done and as far as i know our character models are being made 1 is done already the adam character model and uh as far as we have not even started season 1 so that means season 2 wont be confirmed until we see how season 1 does and pretty much our team consists of 26 people including all roles so we should be good for season 1 but like i said if season 2 does get confirmed we will need more va's we just wanna see how well season 1 does we wanna see if it will appeal and catch on our youtube has gotten tons of support on the teaser but we wanna see if the pilot will catch the fans eyes and if it gets a fair level of attention and not as big as we expected we might highly likely continue to make it since we all think working on this project is fun

we did we canceled the 1st 1 and lowered the goal down to 400 to try to fund the main character character models we hit our goal of 400 and funded the main characters models we might open another kickstarter at somepoint since we need a bunch more human models but we just wanted to fund the main characters models now well open another soon or later to just fund the other human models we need since i think to progress season 1 progress animation wise i think we need those other character models but we were mainly concerned about the main character character animation models
