I heard it before but I can't remember the title of it.Check the wiki later for it.

    What is this song?

  • Not really, but it was better than most filler episodes that's for sure. T_T

    so..................... was it any good?

  • That was an interesting ending :P

Alright, saw that coming between Rick and whatever her name is (I seriously don't know her name). Like the nod to the Scarlet Letter with the whole Red "A" on their hands thing. Kind of annoyed that Rick went there.

Carol's threatening of the kid was just ridiculous. I don't know how she could have thought that was the best option. If anything, she made her situation far worse.. considering she has now threatened to kill a member of the community (and a little kid at that). Hopefully it works out I guess, though I'm sure this will come back and bite the group somehow. She needs to tell Rick and Daryl what happened, and should have done so already.

All in all I'm still not sure where this is going, but obviously there are going to be some problems ahead... and so far it's all of the group's own doing for a change. Excited to see where this goes.

I personally thought it was in reference to the scarlet letter "A" (which stands for adultery).

  • What else was carol going to do? She had to make sure the kid doesn't squeal...I don't necessarily approve of it, but I think it was her only option at the time...but yeah, hopefully it works...at least until the gang has all their ducks in a row

I think anything would have been better than basically telling the kid that she would kill him if he were to tell anyone what he saw. What's stopping the kid from running back to his mother and telling her that Carol threatened to kill him? In the event that he does that, Carol loses all benefit of the doubt, and it's made clear that she is a threat to Alexandria and it's residents. This not only affects Carol, but potentially everyone else in the group.

Instead of threatening to kill the kid, she should have simply lied about her reasoning, and offered up some sort of explanation for why he couldn't tell his mother. Again, I think anything would have been better than dropping death threats.

What's stopping the kid from running back to his mother and telling her that Carol threatened to kill him?

Other than the fear of God that she put in him? It's a gamble, I agree, but so is literally every other approach she could have taken. There's not really a good explanation for him not to tell his mother about a clear violation of the community's rules about guns, especially after sneaking in through the window. No matter what she says, there is the possibility of the kid running to tell his mom.

The fact that Rick's already made his intentions regarding them staying in Alexandria at any cost clear probably also plays a part in her approach. If all goes south like they're anticipating anyway, from getting the guns to the problems with security they're noticing, they'll just take over the town. The Alexandrians are weak. The group isn't.

  • I think it was an interesting episode, especially the chemistry between Jessie and Rick. There's definitely something there. And also him and Carol wanting to get guns, even though it seems pretty safe.

  • Thoughts

    1. Sasha needs to die or ...anything three seasons and we still know jack shit about her apart from that she acts like a moron half the time however unintentionally of the writers this is how she comes across

    2. The cast is just too big, anyone post season 3 gets shafted to the side half the time along with Maggie, Glenn and dare I ever say it Carl. They write them all well but aaron already feels like 10x the character than a lot of them

    3. Daryl and aaron need to get it on allready

    4. Rick and Jessie need to get it on allready

    5. Carol's easily become the most interesting character on the show

    6. I'm liking rick so much more this season , hes finally ditched the whole im good now im bad deal he just gets on with it

Rick reminded me alot of Shane this episode, the moves he's making on Jessie, how he was talking to Jessie's son and the way he looked at her husband then gripped his gun. Same way how Shane was to Rick's son, and the same looks he gave to Rick. Rick is becoming Shane.

I'm interested to see how they handle his character in the show.

  • there's nothing keeping the kid from telling his mother anyway, but he's not mature enough to realize that yet. I think scaring the sh*t out of him was her best option, albeit a bad one

Carol rocks. She can slay a dozen zombies then bake cookies.

I agree that any approach would have been a gamble. There really wasn't anything she could do to make sure the kid didn't say anything. Given that, doesn't it seem pretty unwise to make even more of a gamble, to the extreme of threatening to brutally kill a child? Sure, it could work, but there is definitely no guarantee to that, and I would honestly be surprised if Carol's actions here don't come back to bite her somehow.

  • Am I the only one who thinks Alexandria is like Disneyland and Rick's group are the rebels which many are conflicted if to go stealing cotton candy and go line skipping to get into the rides quicker, or just to chill out and hug Mickey Mouse? o_o

  • My whole thing is that Rick and Carol are in the wrong to begin with. Its their own paranoia and arrogance that has them in this imaginary conflict with the Alexandrians. We've been following these characters for 5 seasons, so I completely understand why they're acting the way that they are, but damned if I agree with it.
