I would be pissed as well, but considering how they have well over a year to make Season 3 and the amount of criticism they got for Season 2 when it came to choices, I think they'll find a way to make them somewhat important to the story. But I'm ready just in case they do Omid them.
I wouldn't take it too seriously, it's still way too early to tell, I doubt the writers are still fully sure of what direction they want to take Season 3. I wouldn't worry about it, it's still way too early to tell, now if this was closer to the potential release of Season 3, then I'd be worried. But since we still have a long wait before that happens, I wouldn't look to far into this.
If Kenny dies I will go back to season 2 and do the ending where she goes into wellington.. would rather his fate be uncertain then see him die in season 3.
I grew sick of both characters and the finale in general, at that point I didn't really give a shit and killed them both for my own personal satisfaction, I wasn't basing my choice off of what would make the 'best' story or whatever.
That being said, I do agree the lone ending is the worst. All it would take was a cry from AJ and they'd both be dead, but all of the endings were unappealing to me anyway and I don't want to deal with either character in S3, so I got them out of the way.
They will get Omid, we will then find a happy group where everyone is a jerk but one guy, and that one guy who isnt. And then Christa will return in the next episode ! And then everyone from the real nice guys group will all be dead at the end, but he will die aswell! After that the group will fall apart and there will be a fight between 2 members !

Both are already dead in my playthrough, so them getting the Omid treatment will have no effect on me.

It honestly wouldn't bother me that much. I hope they get decent screen time before they go, but I want Clem to have a clean slate as of right now
Christa and Omid didn't have any development or try to make you care about Christa and Omid before they off'd 'em.
