You guys haven't heard shit untill you've heard dir en grey it blows all this emo crap out the water
I like heavy metal and punk and loads of "loud" music, emo is just bland maintream identikit stuff, and I was a edgy 14 year old I had a mohican for fucks sake!
Edit: you could have had a look at my song before you judged my musical prefrences, saying I dont like "loud" music is stupid I like my music louder grittier and more experimental than most people I know

I get down with old school rap and some current stuff and sometimes just something random depending on how I feel at the moment sometimes some Sinatra what Italian (half in my case) doesn't like Sinatra

Thank God I'm not the only one on the forums who likes super aggressive metal and punk. Don't get me wrong, I love a nice soft song every now and again. But something about extremely intense aggressive metal really puts me on cloud nine.

Hardcore till I die! Did you check out dir en grey, that particular song is actually one of the less heavy ones there more recent stuff is softer but its experimental and fucking dark as hell

I did, I'll have to check them out further (wasn't crazy about that particular song). But I've heard Japanese metal is particularly heavy.
They seem very rooted in the Deathcore genre however, which I personally enjoy quite a bit.
One thing I love about metal is that there's so many different structures to it and different types of "heavy." There's grindcore heavy, thrash heavy, hardcore heavy, etc. So I'm always down to scope out new material for my library.
If I could recommend you a band however, I'd say try out Disrupt.

Dir en grey fall more under the category of visual kei its a type of japanese metal that evolves mainly around image and performance they dont realy belong to any category now though because they evolve all the time. Visual keis been around since the early 80s and is meant to have been a huge influence on metal in general The costumes are amazing and you uusually get at least one crossdresser in the band, not for sexual reasons its about the performance I think it might be inspired by ttraditional theatre, there are some fucking amazing vk acts and some fucking shit ones
Not heard disrupt before there like a hardcore oi doom highbred, pretty good

Singer: Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden (hope he gets better soon)
Bruce Dickinson singing
Band: Metallica (look at my username)
Metallica in ANTARCTICA
Well that's good to hear. When I heard he had a cancerous tumor a couple of weeks ago, I almost had a heart attack (maybe a bit of an over exaggeration). I was in shock, I was worried about what was going to haappen, but good to hear he'll be okay.
Bruce is supposed to be good by June I hear. Their new album is already ready to go, it's just delayed for touring reasons.
Metallica was… more my favorite band for a long time, until I discovered Maiden 6-7 years ago. Metallica is still a top 10 band for me easily though.
I know the feeling, it's probably similar to the one I had. The tumor was caught during a routine checkup, so it got taken care of early. They still intend to tour this year, and I hope they can get past this and do it.

Freddie Mercury. Absolutely love this guy.
And of course, my favorite band would have to be Queen.
he is legend
You know it.
Matthew Sanders (M. Shadows), the amazing lead singer of Avenged Sevenfold, my favorite band:
This here is one of my all-time favourite bands.
He's a close second for both my favorite singer and band, but I have to go with the classics, without them, there would be no A7X.
Agreed, this amazing band certainly wouldn't be here without Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Iron Maiden and other classics.
I like matchbox 20 and All-American rejects.

Gorillaz
Emo crap? Just because it's loud doesn't mean whoever listens to it is an edgy 14 year old.

I didn't "judge" your preferences, I "judged" the fact that you call other people's music "emo crap".

What Italian doesn't love old Blue Eyes.
I know if i was gay, and he was alive, i'd seriously make a pass at him.

I will admit that he is an excellent singer, I just don't like the band.
The singer from Pantera is Phil Anselmo.
This is a good song to display a bit of his vocal range.
