Kenny had his gun away while Clementine and Rebecca were unarmed. Instead of grabbing a gun by his hip he chose to preach a bunch of darwinist nonsense
If you're talking about the part where you choose to stay behind to watch, then it doesn't really change anything. He had a gun out of his hands, he was on the floor in agony after having his kneecaps shot to hell, and he was being watched the entire time as he lie in wait for the beating he was going to receive in a few moments.
He had no time or opportunity to get the upper hand by reaching for the gun in an awkward position.

1.1 R-E-S-P-E-C-T! We're all here to have fun, so be cool to each other. Always behave respectfully towards other community members, moderators and Telltale team members. Insults, hate speech, platform wars… leave it out. If you feel especially slighted by another forum member, use the "Flag" button to report their comments to moderators instead of shooting back!
Referring to staff members (who do read these forums) as "a bunch of incompetent talentless hacks with no prior writing experience" is extremely rude so please don't do it again.
Imagine you're GRRM and give a random hobo the permission to write book 5. The end result will obviously be trash and that's how Season 2 turned out when they handed it down to a bunch of incompetent talentless hacks with no prior writing experience.
Chill with the hate against the Telltale staff. You don't like it, we get it. No need to insult some hard working people that want to entertain you for a very small price.
Write something better yourself,
I agree with Clem...
Easily. I know for a fact that their are talented writers on these forums t… morehat could write leagues better than that story. I don't want to sound mean , but whoever wrote that story had obvious no writing experience. They had no idea how to create realistic dimensional characters. They created multiple plot holes, over and over with no explanation other than. "LUCKY REALLY LUCKY. Some characters were developed to be nothing more than parrots ie Sarita to Kenny.
What is season three going to be about the reemergence of Christa? Jesus Christ. Another rehash.

Telltale Staff members used to post very frequently on the forums, and Telltale was well known for its community interaction between staff and fans.
Gee, wonder why that stopped?
I can see why they don't post on this one in particular
Can someone just make a designated S2 bitching thread? Maybe then Telltale themselves and people that actually like S2 will start posting here again
I'm one of the people that liked S2, and this board makes me feel like I'm some pariah that isn't welcomed here at all. And to put it in perspective: this is the official board for the game on the developer's website, and it's making people like me feel like that. I can't be the only one seeing something incredibly wrong here if that's the case, right?
I'm wondering how many people have actually been driven off or driven away from this forum solely because of all the S2 hate that plagues it. How much of this forum has been effectively killed because of all these posts?
This barely qualifies as the official TWD board for fans of the game to discuss things with one another anymore. It's become hate central.

He was dead no matter what he did, and he knew that. He was crippled. If he shot Luke, BAM! Kenny smashes his head in. If he shot Kenny, BAM! Luke or someone else would have gunned him down right there. He wanted his last moments to get across to Clementine, not to try to take everyone out with him.
Yeah, the only smart thing he could of done was to sit there and take the beating. It would of been his stupidity pulling the gun and trying to shoot someone in hopes he manages to kill one. Despite it though, it seems like he didn't even want to admit defeat. Before his death he just wanted to balloon up his ego and pride by insulting Rebecca and calling out comments to Clementine that she wasn't even feeling/thinking at the moment. Just amazes me.
Well I don't know about that. I'd lean more to him being a bit denser than he was played out. The things Clementine was doing was pretty sneaky. Since he was trying to persuade her to be on his side, it kinda left him for a blind spot (especially if you chose the options to pretend to be on his side when her and him are alone in the office). Anyone could of gotten this plan with a little thought, and a 11-year old doing this isn't out of the realm of possibility! c: (Of course we won't go to that wind turbine scene that as stretching it a little).
Carver got his community almost single handedly taken down by an eleven year old child within the span of 72 hours. And it took the girl min… moreimal amount of work.
Either the girl is a badass superhuman or Carver is a fucking idiot, I think it's a little bit from column A and a little bit from column B.
Maybe, but from maybe until sure there are miles. I want to see proof, not just pointing fingers. While it had its little issues, I agree, t… morehe story on the whole is a very memorable and succesful one. And maybe there are talented people here, I don't contest that, but I want to see him write something better, if he invests in such bold statements.
Doesn't change the fact that he was dead either way. Even if they didn't manage to kill him then the herd would've done that. Like I said in some other post - Kenny shot his knees so he couldn't even walk.

Or how he has his machete in its sheath on his his back when he's up on the observation deck, stabbing at incoming walkers through the gate with a duplicate machete
Reminds me a bit of how Luke's character model has his handgun at his hip when he's crouching to pick up a weapon and Troy trains a rifle on… more him. Or how he has his machete in its sheath on his his back when he's up on the observation deck, stabbing at incoming walkers through the gate with a duplicate machete... XD Although these would be examples of designer oversight.
Carver's stupidity, or just a mistake from the writers? I doubt he was actually supposed to have a gun at that moment. He was outnumbered and the situation was supposed to be completely hopless for him.

I NEVER NOTICED THAT
I'm wondering how many people have actually been driven off or driven away from this forum solely because of all the S2 hate that plagues it. How much of this forum has been effectively killed because of all these posts?
90% of the people that were here when I joined (at that time tons of people were joining since it was the beginning of season 2) are gone from this forum nowadays. I think that puts into perspective the sheer amount of people who left.

Not going to lie, the past few days I've been avoiding this section, in part due to Borderlands and GOT, but also because all it is nowadays is basically S2 hate threads, or the content of which turns into a bashing of S2. I respect other's opinions, but there's a point where it becomes too much that you just avoid it.

Doesn't help either side., when the TTG drops communication with its fans. Why do i have to follow some guy's twitter account to know what is going on... I just shake my head as a customer. you purchase a product, you invest in the brand, what incentive does TTG make to stay loyal, absolutely zero. They have minimalistic interaction on here. I haven't seen it. I could understand being scared off during the "Kenny vs Jane." days, but those times are over. The majority of the fans would behave in a reasonable manner, yet there is zero interaction, because TTG can get away with it.
For now. Wait until a couple more titles like Life is Strange comes about, i bet TTG will have a change of heart because the competition means they will actually have to try harder.

I wonder how many hours it will be after Season 3 gets released that someone starts to hate on it. What happens here is nothing new. Company makes a good game, at first it's praised, then divas start to nitpick it. Said company releases a sequel, divas start to become even more vocal. I could practically predict this forum the second I know the characters from Season 3.

It's already getting hate and it's not anywhere close to being out yet. I've seen people already label Season 3 a failure, and we know NOTHING about it.

To be fair, that typically happens after a Season is over - regulars who joined not because of Telltale but rather because of the particular series Telltale made generally tend to leave, while those who like Telltale overall as a result of playing the game tend to stick around.
Granted, I think more people stuck around in the older days, but that was when Telltale Talk/General Chat was placed more prominently on top of the board. With the new site design that launched a few months before Season 2 and Wolf, Telltale Talk was moved below the newer game boards, so people had to scroll down more to find it. Since it wasn't as easy to find, not as many people came to the off topic section where they could talk about things beyond a game's story they've already finished.

Yeah i agree sure s2 did have its flaws but it was still good sure not as good as s1 but s2 was still a good season in my opinion
Pull the trigger.

Andrei, not when you can compare it to season 1. In my opinion there is a very obvious drop off in story quality.
Then the rest of the group come back with Luke (he had a gun) and they kill Carver instantly.
Like he would have time with the herd on it's way and guards looking out
That's a matter of opinion, Season 1 had its little issues as well, problem now is Season 2 got the spotlight.

Better than certain doom and even if that was true a quick bullet to the head is less painless
In my opinion he was doomed either way but you've your way of thinking so stick with it.
In that situation, you go down fighting.
I NEVER NOTICED THAT
Well, he technically did go down fighting
Just not physically
I'm talking "guns blazing." If I were Carver, I'd been on some "last man standing" Call of Duty shit.
Carver's stupidity, or just a mistake from the writers? I doubt he was actually supposed to have a gun at that moment. He was outnumbered and the situation was supposed to be completely hopless for him.
It was in his sweater. :P
GODDAMNIT LUCAS

He also slices Bonnie in the face
Luke 10/10
Why did they even have Rebecca take his gun, anyways? She never even uses it, then after she dies its completely forgotten about.
In all honesty, it would have been better for him to not have it like you said
How? Lol I just said how stupid this scenario is
I was refering to what clem is awesome said not you clem is awesome said something very uncalled for about the writers of season 2
Better than the death she really got :P
