  • Left him for two reasons:

    1. I'm bound by my oath not to kill my brothers.
    2. He wasn't worth it.

Kicked off the Wall. Every. Time.

  • Making him suffer is the only option for me.

My reasoning is that Britt deserved a taste of his own medicine:

I never did tell you about your father, did I? We bled him at first; like a pig. Seemed only fair he should feel what it's like.

  • Yeah before the fight I said "I don't want to fight you, just back off." and he fought me anyway. Then when I had my blade to his throat I said "I didn't want to fight you, go away." Then when he said finish it I replied "Nope." and he died anyway. Really wish I went all 300 on his ass.

Left him for two reasons: * I'm bound by my oath not to kill my brothers. * He wasn't worth it.

  • I had to stab him in the guts and make him suffer. I gave him plenty of chances to stop fighting.

  • I started the fight and then said "I don't want to fight you!" lol xD I figured Jon Snow might be up there and hear me, so maybe he wouldn't think I'm an asshole. I kicked that bitch off the wall btw.

  • 89,9% of the players are pussies.

  • I didn't think he'd be dying by the time you decide to let him go. I'll have to replay that moment because if he was going to die, I'd have kicked him off the Wall. Not just to hide his body, but also because SPARTAAA! But I'll have to wait a while before going back to it. I'm still picking up the pieces of my mind after having it blown.

  • If you kick him off the wall, does Finn still se it?

I wanted him to live, also someone to hear that I don't want to kill him. Well, maybe he just collapses and faints?
The "chasing Gared" scene in the "next time" scene could mean that this just happens if you kill him on purpose (maybe).
Maybe it's an option for Finn to don't evven tell or at least back you up (I was nice to him. And the whole time everyone praved to be good to your brothers.Ihope it will repay)

  • I said exactly what you said, I tried avoiding a fight with him at every turn, kind of pisses me off you're forced into fighting him.

  • You must suck at math. It's obviously 88.9%... (Not intended as a serious offense, just so you know XD)

  • Well you did still kill him whether you like it or not :P

  • SPARTAAA!

  • What makes it rather intriguing is that he got sent to the wall for doing what he was told to do. Even though he is an arsehole there must have been a reason for the Whitehills to send him there: A) The Whitehills wanted him to finish the job. B) He was sent there as some sort of 'good' gesture towards the Tuttle's (Perhaps.. Duncan is the traitor?). Anyhow it seems rather weird he would get send to the wall for something he was asked to do.

  • He deserved it and I did this

  • I couldn't resist kicking him off the wall. As soon as he started backing up, I was just hoping for a chance to do it.

  • Now that I think about, yeah it is pretty strange. I'm pretty sure though that Britt would have told Gared that he was sent there to kill him. I also don't think Ludd would send one of his soldiers away just to kill a 'pig farmer', unless he knows about the North Grove.

  • Kicked him off the wall. He was given multiple chances to stand down, and didn't.

  • Yes, but the choice of making him suffer, you stab him AND kick him off the wall, it's worth it in my opinion. :P

Yeah but unlike Telltale's other choices when it's blatantly obvious they're trying to make you have the same outcome, in this situation it made sense. I thought those little fits of rage Gared had when you couldn't stop him from hurting Britt were pretty cool too.

I said exactly what you said, I tried avoiding a fight with him at every turn, kind of pisses me off you're forced into fighting him.

  • I don't blame you, the choice seemed very appealing to me.

  • I'm thinking it just looks better for the Whitehills. If anyone observes the situation, with Britt not being sent to the wall, it looks like the Forresters took the high path and sent their person involved and the Whitelhills don't care about casualties.

  • Far as I know, the thing with Finn goes down the same way no matter what.

89,9% of the players are pussies.

  • So does he die either way then?

  • I tried my best to avoid hitting him during the fight sequence, but it looks like I had to kill him in the end after all. I left him because "Make him suffer" was a different option, so I thought "Leave him" means he'll stay alive,

  • 11,1% didn't even try to honor their vows. I'd rather be a pussy.

  • Kicked him off the Wall. Because, why not?

  • I'm contemplating whether or not his scream as he falls means he didn't expect it was one of the options for getting finished.

  • Kicked him off the Wall, letting him suffer was less appealing than watching him falling from this insane height.

  • Honor our vows? We're going to desert anyway (that means we're gonna break our vows), what's the point? xD

  • I made him suffer. I have no idea why, but the fact that he was boasting about killing my sister and how he made my dad slowly bleed out...I figured, eye for an eye

  • Walked away. I'm not stooping to his level, no matter how much I loved the fight and kicking his ass like that.

  • Kicked him down the Wall. I already decided I was gonna abandon the Night's Watch and go after the North Grove, may as well avenge my family while I'm at it.

  • I hate it , because no matter what you choose. He will die,and what I understand from promo, you will be forced to desert Night Watch. That's sad, I like Night Watch and Jon. !

  • Exactly my thoughts.

Left him for two reasons: * I'm bound by my oath not to kill my brothers. * He wasn't worth it.

  • I kept my promise to Jon so I used all the dialogue options to try and avoid the fight, but damn when he said that I REALLY wanted to make him suffer. Not kicking him off the wall was very difficult.

  • There is an option where you can spare him to the best of my knowledge

  • I made him suffer too. I was very surprised only about 7% of players chose that option, considering he was one of very few "pure evil" characters without little to no redeeming values whatsoever. At first I thought we might have a private bro chat on the top of the wall but when he started talking about torture killing Gared's family like a sadistic b*****d I knew I'd give him the worst death possible.

  • 1st time: Kicked off the wall. (i didn't even look at the other options i saw that one and picked it no hesitation)

    2nd time: Left him.
