Could the DLC be again about the 400 days people but after the events happened in season 2? For example after Carvers place gets run over, the 400 days people gets separated trying to escape because of the zombies. We play again as Shell, Wyatt, Vince and Russel trying to find one another. We see places, we found with Clem like Parker's Run/ Sunshine Mobile Home Park etc. Bonnie is a determinent character so if you didn't save her, you won't play as her. Could be smth like this.

A DLC with new characters to set up Season 3 would be kind of cool. Either that, or a view of the Howe's aftermath trough the eyes of Tavia. They really could really add some dimensions to a character some see as a traitor. Or... just maybe... a DLC showing some unseen stuff from Season 2. For example: one story can revolve around a couple who run into the group Clem and Christ ran into prior to their separation and before Carver comes and kills them all. It would be a nice change of perspective and add to what happened to Christa (or make it not as vague, especially if they are still looking for her by then). Another story can come from a person who met with the family from the end of "No Going Back" prior to their encounter with Clem and Jane.

Well it would be the same. If for example you didnt get Russel to go to Carvers place, he will be somewhere else. With other people. Might be in Wellington or at his grandmother? If in wellington, he might see Clem in there if you get her to go there. Shell and Becca be at that diner from the dlc as their people has left the place, Whyat could be crossing the states to find Eddie.... Etc. I think they can make a good dlc if we continue the story of those guys.

I was suggesting the new characters assuming they will be active role players in each episode. In other words, the DLC build up to reveal the group Clem runs into/meets/join in Season 3. This is for the new character idea however... if that clears anything up.

They were asked about a possible 2015 release and they responded only with - Hm... that would be "not this year". That means that 2015 is possible for season 3 but also 2016 which is even more certain release date beacuse lately they said that Season 3 is something we can't expect to see super super soon.

If they are active players in season 3 then it would be a good idea but if it is going to be like the previous dlc, the players showing for 1 minute... Not buying it. I could have played season 2 without the dlc with no problems. I hope that doesn't happen now.

It sounds to me like they're angling for releasing S3 toward the end of the year and potentially some sort of DLC over the summer. If you know anything about game development, you can bet they started working on S3 long before they announced in summer 2014...
