Anyone else that felt "depressed" after finishing TWD S2 (Game)?
I use the word "depression" loosely, I know.
What I chose to do:
Shoot Kenny.
Not forgive Jane.
Therefore walking alone.
I felt like I did the right thing, as they were both putting "us" in danger, by fighting and testing each other. Still, I am unsure if I should suck it up and have forgiven Jane as she seemed to try and help me understand certain things and protect me. What she did was stupid, in my opinion, but I would probably be safer with her around me. All these thoughts and many more went through my mind after finishing season 2 and I felt really anxious and sad (in a sorta good way, I guess) It messed me up for the next couple of hours. Did you feel the same way and for what reasons?

I did as well because, and I'm in the minority when I say this, Jane vs. Kenny was a much harder choice than Luke and Kenny would have been since, at the time, they were my two favorite characters from Season 2. It was a difficult choice, but when I heard the baby alive, I knew I made the right choice. What made me depressed was what happened after that when I went to Wellington and I almost left Kenny to enter Wellington. But I chose to stay with him, he's my friend, and I don't turn my back on my friends.
Also, welcome to the forums.
The thing is; I knew the baby was alive. It was quite predictable and when Jane said "I am going to show you how Kenny really is" or something like that, it became somewhat obvious. But I couldn't let go of the fact that Kenny wanted "revenge" and making a lot of noise, putting us all in danger, rather than trying to protect us. Or at least, protect Clementine. I liked Kenny since he was in season 1 and he probably reminded Clementine of the time with Lee, so it was quite difficult to make the decision to shoot him.
I wanted to go to Wellington, since I had imagined that Christa might have headed in that direction. If she was/is alive of course, and since Kenny wanted to head in that direction too, I had to support his decision. And his beard man... made him look so dad-like. Probably why I felt real crappy after finishing the game...
And thank you.
I know how you feel brother man but im sure you made a great choice
Sad and wanted more. It's always neat to think about these endings and wonder about the "what ifs".
Not really, more confused than anything.
I find depressing everything related to TWD, or to the post-apocalypse in general. Even though it's not real, you can easily get depressed just by thinking about the end of the world.
I found it depressing that I´d have to wait about a year to see a TWD episode again.
Truth be told
Not nearly as bad as the ending to Season 1 ;-;
Well the sadness started when Luke died and then I killed Kenny and lost all sanity. I cried the whole time he said his finally words. When I finished the episode I was more angry than sad but sad all the same, I wasn't sure what to feel.
To this day I'm still not over Luke and sometimes still cry over him but I'm over Kenny.
I felt sad but not depressed.
However I remember one time The Walking Dead: Season One, had just finished and the next day I woke up so sad. I just could not even think about playing the game again and I swore that I would never replay it, because it just made me feel so sad. I've never felt like that in my life, but I got over it in a day or so.
Yes, season one. After that emotional rollercoaster, I was a wreck for a good month or more. Never felt like that over a game, but even now when I replay season one, I can feel it bubble up near the end.
Now season two, the only times I felt emotional, were when Clementine got hurt. Any of the other characters could get eaten, drowned or shot. Wouldn't bother me. Yet have Clementine get hit by Carver and/or Troy and it makes me feel primal rage.
I feel the pain too brother man. But i just end up listening to nirvana it cheers me up
Well. I let Kenny kill Jane (don't like her really) and at Wellington I go with Kenny. But my tween go to Wellington. It was sad.
And when we play one more time we shoot Ken... It was sad, but not enough to cry or be depressed... Well, not for me after all. My sister had cried herself to sleep that night.
... Is it bad, that I haven't cry after Lee in the end of seson one?
Um...does feeling depressed over how disappointing the rest of Season 2 turned out count? ;_; because then yes, I was a depressed crying mess over that, I shit you not.
No, it's fine, a lot of people haven't. I mean... What? You heartless bastard! ;__;
I felt more empty because nothing was accomplished this season.
Nah, I got the good ending with Kenny so I felt more hopeful than anything.
Season 1 made me feel that way. I pretty much suffered from withdrawal.
Season 2's last two episodes, however, were bad enough for me to not really care towards the end. The ending of Episode 5 was pretty much a "ok, that's done. Moving on..." I don't think the last episode was good enough to elicit any emotion, and all Amid the Ruins made me feel was angry - at the writing and plot, not the actual events.
I'll tell you now that I exhausted the biggest sigh of relief once the episode was over. "Thank whatever God or systemic scientific theory that exists that I made it through that scorching pile of tard."
So, although killing Kenny was definitely a "hell yeah" moment, it was a small victory in an otherwise lame cobbled together mess of an episode for me to feel too good about it. But I did make it through it... quite drunk too.
Yeah... everybody are calling me that because of it. I'm sorry, but it's true. I liked him, but for me it wasn't sad enough... There's really not many thinks that can make me this sad...
I may be heartless, but I imitate Clementine voice to make my friends suffer at the "I can't" sentence.
I think depression and sadness is going to keep me from buying Season 3. I don't want to play a game where it is far too dark and far too many people die. If you put too much darkness, people will stop caring because why should they care if they all die in the end?
I think that's why I prefer Tales from the Borderlands way better, because I don't feel depress or sad once I finished an episode.
