Would This Change Your Mind?

I was just wondering because I decided to replay Season 1 Episode 1 and right at the end Larry punches you and made me think..

If Larry didn't punch you there or even was just nicer to you in general would your choice to either flatten his skull or try and save him be different? Personally mine wouldn't because I came to a stump of who do I like better because I had run out in other options so I went with Kenny and held back Lilly while Kenny dropped the saltlick on his head.

I was just wondering this a little short topic. Have a nice day :)

  • My Mind has always been Made. I like Larry a lot, and I would never Kill another Human being. But good thread!

  • I did liked Larry lot, still if you didn't become an asshole to him, he will still threat you like shit :/

  • I kinda forgive him back there... Or perhaps I've forgotten that he nearly get me killed. This thought "Oh yeah, he tried to kill me!" didn't cross my mind when I was deciding whether to help him or not in the meat locker. Strange.

  • Mighta been because it happened so fast in ep1 and never really become a huge subject matter between characters past the exact moment itself

  • Perhaps yes, but not because of his personality. Rather because of his strength. Because of how he flattening me(and determinatly Kenny) in one punch was big indicator of his strength.

At the moment of choice in episode 2 I had all but forgotten about Larry's personality because of the situation. Instead my mind was filled with fear of his strength and even more increased relentlessness as a walker(especially given the walker of a much weaker guy almost killed me) if I fail saving him, and therefore I didn't take a chance with him and killed him. Perhaps if Larry wasn't strong, or If I didn't know he was strong I might've taken a chance trying to rescue him from his heart attack.

  • No it wouldnt

  • Well. You seem to be a big fan of Hating Larry. We should pronounce you King of the Fanclub of Hating Larry!

Heh, And that wasn't even a Good joke. Just Kiddin' though man. I don't have any beef with you, and I don't want to create any either.

  • No, grudges against Larry aside, my entire reason for ending him at the meat locker was to protect everyone in there, not because he was an asshole, but that definitely did make the outcome much easier than it would be if he was a more pleasant person to deal with.

  • No, it wouldn't change my mind. I chose to save him because it was Lilly's call on what we do with him.
