Kenny is the shane of the walking dead game
I mean everyone gangs up on them cause they share different beliefs on what they need to do and there considered unstable and they have a temper and both were killed by the main characters.

"considered unstable"
For a minute I thought the title of this thread was "Kenny is the shame of the walking dead game"
...I would have agreed with that title.
Either way, he reminds me more of Abraham than any other character from the show.
Right?
'Considered unstable'??? Him being unstable is a fact.
I don't hate Kenny so I disagree.
Right.
I was talking about the word "considered" which should never be in the same sentence with Kenny.
Ive always believed Kenny was like Shane, both unreasonable, violent, obsessive and needed to be put down before they did more damage.
I wouldn't say Shane had to be "put down" (I don't believe Kenny does either but that's another argument). Shane's only fault imo was his love for Lori and Carl and delusional that they were his. Otherwise, he was smart and knew what it took to survive.
Any logic or reasoning behind that sediment or is "I don't hate Kenny" basically it?
I dont argue that he was smart and had a survivalist attitude that would have come in handy if he hadnt been so single minded and obsessive. I kind of figured that when he tried to murder his best friend, he was dangerous.
I actually think kenny is the best charecter in the walking dead and also shane so idk what ur talking about
Well Kenny is inShane... I'll let myself out now.
No. Shane's loss of sanity was so way better written. Kenny even though a shit pickle fuck ball never really did anything to make me think he was on the edge of sanity until the end
That is an insult to Shane. Ok all jokes aside, I agree. Shane and Kenny had great ideas on how to keep people safe. They just don't know how to be apart of a group.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion
i think he is more the rick grimes of the game, "ricktatortship" anyone
shane is a backstabber and a schemer, kenny is not that at all, he is always upfront and honest, sure he may get crazy sometimes but so does rick
nah he is more like comic rick before he takes leadership of alexandria
I see Kenny as more of the Rick of the series, and if you think about it, both Kenny and Rick's story share a lot of similarities.
For example:
Both Kenny and Rick have lost their wives.
Both men have gone off the deep end after said loss, and understandably so.
Both men share an unstoppable tenacity to keep pushing forward, in spite of their loss.
From what I understand, in the comic series Rick lost his hand to the Governor, and Kenny lost his eye to Carver; who's arguably the "game's version" of The Governor.
Both men have really cool beards, lol!
Both men will do anything to protect those they care about, and are known to exact chilling brutality against those that do either them, or their loved ones harm.
As when Kenny beat Carver to death, after the harm Caver committed both against Kenny, and the group, including Walter and Alvin.
And as when Rick killed Joe and his gang, the surviving Terminites, and when he executed Pete.
Both men turn to the people they care about for guidance.
Kenny turned to Lee, and also Clementine, who Kenny seemed to view as his like his own daughter.
Rick, when in times of personal trouble, turned to Daryl, Hershel, and even to his own son, Carl.
For me, he's the Daryl of the game. XD Though he reminds me of Abraham more.
Ugh, comparing him to Rick is an insult to Rick.
Violent is not a bad thing in the ZA. You'd rather have a sarah who's just crying or a kenny who puts those down who want to put you down. He never put his hand on clementine. (Except for when you're trying to stop him from hitting arvo, but thats not intentional)
No, id rather have someone who knows how to use force when its necessary, not someone who takes his aggression out on people who are helpless.
kenny hate is so tiresome
No more tiresome than fans who justify all his actions.
I'm a fan of Kenny, but I can agree that he has a bit of Shane in him.
I think Kenny is the most developed... Not the best.
Comic Rick and show Rick are two almost different ricks. But I still agree
TV series commandment number 1 : those who tamper with Dixion's bow or likeness, will suffer a unexpected death.
He's considered unstable by just about everyone in the group.
Read my comment above.
Wow, true, I misread it in the same way also lol
Shane planned to kill Rick but Kenny did not plan to kill Jane, it was a fit of rage he couldn't control
Rick never lost Carl nor his current girlfriend. And he doesn't think irrational?
Unable to control your anger isn't an excuse, it still doesn't change the fact that he intended to kill Jane without hesitation.
Yes accept he's better written. When he did all that crazy shit he had motivation: to protect his wife and kid. When that failed he became broken and you actually feel bad for him due to his slowing descent to madness. No one really felt bad for Shane not even in the comics.
I, uh... don't get it. I'm still right. He's considered unstable by nearly everyone in the group, whether that's factual or not.
Well naturally there has to be some differences in their stories, otherwise the events in the game, at least concerning Kenny's character, would become to predictable.
Not to mention, it would make Kenny look like a cheap copy of Rick, and the obvious vibe from the writers is that Kenny is his own character, just like ever character within the game.
Sure they may share some similarities with other characters, but it is obvious that the goal is for each character to have his own personality, and his own personal story.
Just like in the real world, though we all share common traits and experiences with others, we still are our own individual, with our own histories, and our own futures, which we can direct in any way that we choose.
And though we cannot control what happens in the rest of world, nor even totally control what happens to us, the part of our lives that is in our control, is the type of person we choose to be.
And it is that realism that the writers are trying to bring to the game, and to it's characters.
I didn't feel bad for Kenny. His negligence got his son killed, he's the one that ran away to the RV and left them to fend for themselves during the bandit / walker raid all to leave Lilly behind so she couldn't hover over him and remind him of the atrocity he committed.
And him being "better written" is quite a subjective stretch considering he has some of the biggest character plot holes and development inconsistencies out of anyone of either season.
The difference being that one was methodically planned and engineered in advance, and the other was a spur-of-the-moment rage
Both of them are reprehensible actions more or less, but the one that involved actual planning and premeditation can be seen as much more sinister in terms of motives
The character plot holes and development inconsistencies are??
Yes but him and Shane are completely different as far as im concerned
