Anyone here like season 2 Clementine?
I've been on some of these threads and see some comments on how many dislike Clementine in season 2. This is due to the fact that she rarely shows emotion. In my opinion she does indeed show emotion. You see it in No Going Back. I do agree that her voice did sound alittle monotone most of the time this season. Almost as if she was sleepy. But other than that, did anyone else like season 2 Clementine?

Me.
I'd be pretty sleepy if I was 2 years into an apocalypse.
Yeah I did. I like season 2 a lot in general too. Season 2 had very high expectations that were hard to meet because of season 1 powerful ending
Agreed. I guess that's why people were so disappointed with season 2, it just didn't meet expectations. In my opinion I liked the season, sure they could have handled things differently. But overall it was still good. And lol yeah I would be pretty sleepy too. Her voice just sounded so monotone, almost as if she was bored most of the time. I still prefer season 2 Clem.
She was alright. Didn't mind her, she as the main character to play as didn't work very well though. But that wasnt her character just how to story went it just didnt work. I like old funny Clem alot more but this Clem wasnt as bad as everyone else said. Ill miss the old Clem though, when it went back to Lee and Clem that was a good moment.
Season 2 Clementine is Clementine
Yes I liked her she's the same Clementine in my opinion at least.
Do you mean as in Season 1 and Season 2 Clem are the same, or that Season 2 Clementine is the Clementine you think of when you think of Clementine, if that makes any sense :P
I loved everything about her. "Monotone" and all.
OF COURSE!
Clementine - my best character in books/show/games !
Little girl
...Up until No Going Back, she was such a strong and interesting character. And I'd even say I liked her through the majority of season 2 more than season 1.
Of course. The answer is always obvious with me. haha
Both
I did, I feel a stronger attachment to her character after playing Season 2 and actually preferred playing as her over Lee, but Clementine is Clementine, no matter what.
I can understand peoples frustration with her character. Yeah she could have cracked a smile more often, cut her hair a little more shorter, or bathed more. I'm practically the chairman of "Clem, don't be such a stuck up bitch club" But after all she's been through I'm not really surprised of the transition of her character. I was actually hoping She'll act more colder this season to begin with. It made the most sense. So yes my dear OP, I do love Season 2 clem because of her having to put on a different mask to fit her environment. It felt organic and believable to me.
Yes. I always enjoy playing S2 over S1.
She doesn't bother me, but i'm not in love with her either. i could take her or leave her.
Same
Me, myself & I.
Nope, don't really care for her now.
Yeah, I still liked her in Season Two. Maybe I'm just sentimental about getting to see her essentially grow up from the little ball of sunshine we met in A New Day because of everything we taught her as Lee. It only makes sense that her personality would change, as that's what an apocalypse does to people.
Me~! I do love the innocent Clementine from S1, but the Clem from S2 is so different from the S1 Clem that I can't choose between them. I like the S2 Clem because she has so much sass and she just cracks me up every single time when she uses it.
I like S2 Clementine. Not only that, but she's got mad respect from me as well. All our hard work as Lee felt paid off. The girl isn't just some little kid acting adorable (best way to stay alive in the ZA) anymore. We got a survivor who's smart and tough. Telltale shows her emotions using spot on facial expression and sudlety through her voice.
I still think she's a good character. It bugs me when people complain that she's become more hardened and cold. She's lived in the apocalypse for two years and has been through more shit than anyone can even imagine. What do you expect exactly?
I still love Clementine, but some fans want her to be exactly the same as she was in season one, an innocent eight year old that they can baby, which was not possible. Kids change in the best of circumstances and these arent good circumstances.
I love Clem's transformation: Season 1: Cute little girl. Season 2: Strong survivor, just like Lee thaught her.
Me too.
I like Clem and here's whay
She's got guts I mean she can take on a walker on her own and she can sew up her own arm I MEAN COME ON AN 11 YEAR OLD SEWING UP HER ARM?! that's badass to me
She is using her skills that people have taught her (like sewing up her friken arm)
She looks cool to so style XD
She knows what she's doing
And ect.
I loved her more in season 2.
as a guy i didnt really like playing as a little girl. i like to play as a man so i can hit on hot girls lol. with that said i loved clem in season one as her father figure kind of relationship and i liked her growth in season two and how telltale does a good job of showing how kids must lose their innocence in order to survive in a walking dead universe (ex. geeky girl with glaces that refused to grow up, i forgot her name) but i kind of got tired playing as a little girl, it just felt weird to me
I liked her, but some options she had/said weren't like her at all. Like, if Kenny kills Jane, you have another option to shoot Kenny dead. I felt as though that was something she'd never do because of how traumatized she was from killing the stranger in S01E05.
i liked her but like Pabster23,i prefer playing with male characters (apart from Mira of Got) but she was pretty good!
