The Walking Dead: A Live Performance (Not live anymore, though. Video in thread.)
edit: This has already happened, so in case you missed it, here's a video of the full performance (courtesy of OzzyUK):

Telltale Games is preparing to head out to San Diego Comic Con! Together with the wonderful people at Skybound, we’ve prepared a very special event for fans of our episodic Walking Dead series… The Walking Dead Live Performance!
On Saturday, July 11th at 8pm PT, cast members from the Game of the Year award-winning The Walking Dead: Season One will reprise their roles LIVE on stage at Petco Park in a series of scenes from the game.
Here’s who can you expect to see on stage:
Melissa Hutchison as Clementine
Dave Fennoy as Lee
Gavin Hammon as Kenny
Nicki Rapp as Lilly
Nicole Vigil as Carley
Adam Harrington as Andy St. John AND Larry (Terry McGovern, who voiced Larry in-game, could not make it out to San Diego, so Adam is doing double duty to fill in!)
So they're gonna do a live performance of the game's iconic scenes at Comic-con. This has the potential to be an interesting little thing.
So, what scenes do you want to see out of this? I'd like to see the meat locker scene, the RV argument, and the ending, of course.
Comments
Meat locker scene and Lilly abandoning the group by stealing the RV, plus Carley`s death, and Clem "turning" into a zombie in the RV.
Will they be filming live on a stream? Or will people just have to go and buy tickets to see it? ;ooo
It will be streamed on Skybound's twitch account.
Imagine if they made a musical out of it, kinda like this:
Tenacious Lee
I dont know, it sounds kinda wierd.
I apologize if this is a stupid question, but will the live stream be available to watch afterwards, or will I have to wake up just prior to 4AM (BST) to watch this? I have very few experiences with live streams.
This sounds so cool! I wish I could go. At least it'll be on Twitch, apparently. I wonder if they're (or at least some) gonna cosplay their character? That'd be cool, too.
Extra brownie points given if they dress up like the characters! =D
I APPROVE OF A MUSCIAL!
Sounds kinda odd.
I'M SO HYPED OMG. Wonder which scenes will they play and what decisions will they do?
Everyone is gonna cosplay as their characters? Is it going to be a comedy?
This kind of reminds me of The Last of Us One Night Live performance last year. Troy Baker, Ashley Johnson and some others re-performed live with their roles and covered some of the important scenes in the game, I'm sure the Walking Dead live performance will be similar to this.

"Saltlick! Saltlick! Saltlick!"
Sounds awesome!
I'm going to assume Adam will use that Woodsman voice from The Wolf Among Us for Larry.
Why is it weird? I think it sounds really cool. And didn't NaughtyDog do the same to The Last of Us?
Thank you so much!!
Niiice.
Well it is wierd becuase of the actors and their age.
This event is being marketed as being a part of Comic Con, yet I can't find anything that says if you have a badge you're allowed entry. Wasn't this a point of emphasis to allow current badge holders entry into offisite events? Almost every other offsite event is giving badge holders free passes.
Walker Stalker is only at Comic Con because of us, the badgeholders.
Can't wait to see it...on youtube.
Can I just speak for...idk..everyone by saying I don't even care for a Michonne game? I love the telltale created characters and seeing them develop. I know who Michonne is and don't care for any more to her story than what I see on tv. Why couldn't they just work on season 3 more? It's like they just ran out of any ideas and just said..let's wait ANOTHER year before we put it out...stalling...figured it would be out a year after the second season.
Very similar to what The Last Of Us did, I'm going to enjoy this.
i hope to hear "LEEEEEE!!" from adam harrington, that has really stuck in my head, i think if i ever meet dave fennoy that is what i will say to him when i see him
Good news you guys
You didn't like Greg doing Playing Dead? Now you get to enjoy the guy you hate, also playing a guy you hate! It's a win-win (except for the people that like Ben, Greg Miller, or both)
I also find it funny that Greg's portraying one of his most hated characters of the game. Telltale must have done that on purpose.
Also, Adam Harrington put up a small clip of them rehearsing for it
I'm really looking forward to this
WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUCK
I fucking liked Ben...
[Sigh]
LMAOO JUST A REASON TO HATE BEN EVEN MORE
I didn't know people didn't like Greg Miller, why though?
They find him annoying, I can see why but personally I don't care much for him.
I feel it kinda ruins the artistic integrity of the reading in several ways - one being that they are bringing in someone who wasn't on the cast just because they are somewhat famous from being a notable online personality. Secondly, it's also because Greg Miller's gig revolves around being lighthearted and cracking jokes, which will starkly contrast with the grim nature of Walking Dead. Of course, I'm not saying that he's going to make jokes during the reading or anything, but even so, I don't think he'll capture the gravitas of the story he is acting out. Even taking on a serious role, it's hard not to have the gut feeling that he will either act overly serious to compensate for how people normally see him joking around, or alternatively that he won't try and instead will stick out like a sore thumb among the other actors who actually earned their participation by being cast in the original game.
I don't have anything against Greg Miller personally and he seems like a nice and genuine guy from what I've seen of him online, but I think that having him involved in this was a poor choice.
There's quite a few people that work with comedy that are pretty good with dramatic roles as well. Comedy depends on quite a bit of dramatic experience as well as overall insight, so most comedians tend to have a pretty good range as a result, being well suited to the gravitas of more serious roles just as much as the less serious ones. Albeit, since Greg hasn't really done anything like this before, it's true enough that it could go either way. I'm going to try to keep an open mind about it, though.
Yeah, I should've clarified but I was focusing mostly on Greg likely having little experience or capability for the proper range and just being an Internet comedian who seemingly bumbled his way into this. I definitely agree with you that professional comedy actors can have potential for lots of range. That insight about comedy depending a bit on drama was interesting, and I hadn't thought quite thought about it like that.
My point was, as you said, Greg is not an actor and I'm going to wager a guess that his range won't be nearly as good as that of the actual actors. :P
Reminds me of the live performance of The Last of Us. I hope it will be just as good
Could they not get the original voice actor of Ben to do a live performance of his own character?
Didnt NaughtyDog characters also act? from what i gathered this will just be live voice...
So OzzyUk told me there wont be any acting just their voice... does anyone know otherwise... I thought this might be like NaughtyDogs The Last Of Us Performance but if its gonna be just their voice, how is it gonna look... will there be scenes from the game and they'll just dub their live voice, or what?
BTW. i'd like to see the ''Its over!'' scene.
