I want innocent Clem back

I miss her so much ;^; I like the new Clem but the Clementine from S1 has a special place in my heart... EDIT: I'm not saying that she should be that innocent again in S3 but, just like in the trailer for E5 from S2, telltale could make more footage of the Clem from S1 so all our hearts can melt all over again.

  • She's still very cute. I noticed so many people saying that "Clem turned into a cold hearted b*tch in S2" Jesus. Exaggeration cannot be found. She just matured, and she's still adorable.

  • I know it is unpopular opinion but I like Clementine from season 2 more.

  • She's still adorable but that innocence she once had makes her so different from who she is now. But I love the S2 Clementine and I played her as a kind 11 y/o girl but sometimes as a cold heaeted betch... Only towards ppl I don't like (Bonnie, Jane) tho.

  • And I want Lee back, but y'know. Shit happens.

She still has a lot of it I feel like, maybe it depends on how you play her.

She seemed relieved when she met Sam, not knowing dogs can be dangerous but thankful to not be alone.

She also still has the innocence of not having hit puberty yet, by the end of the season she gets that there is something adults do that they think kids should not know about, but she doesn't know exactly what.

You can also play her as a very forgiving character towards Nick, the river guy, Jane and Kenny so you can still retain the parts of her from S1 where she believes in the best in most people. This is also evident in Sarah's character, the only other child in this season.

Then there is obviously AJ, it's clear that Clem doesn't start out with the bias of "annoying kids" that some of the adults do, although you can play her as annoyed by AJ later in.

  • You cant make someone innocent again, unless you completely turn back time and freeze them in place. losing your innocence is part of growing up.

  • How exactly do you think anyone in the apocalypse can remain innocent. If she did then I would say that we are dealing with a nutjob.

  • At this point in the apocalypse, I'd think about my survival instead of things that could potentially distract myself from my responsibilities.

  • I'm not saying that she should come back innocent in S3, but Telltale could make more 'footage' of her when she was still a 8 y/o child from before the apocalypse. Of course the apocalypse has changed her and made her mature way faster but still, I miss those good old times...

  • It's been roughly two years into the apocalypse.

She is never getting that back.

  • Heh, as much as I understand how you feel, that would never happen. Just replay season 1.

  • But turning her into a cold hearted and merciless survivor was the best part of the Season 2 (although I think there's still whole lot of work to do before she is as tough as Carl from the comics)

  • Then she'd be Sarah.

    I'm good with her gone.

  • No going back.

  • You want her to be Sarah?

  • I understand what you mean. I miss her old self, but she has to survive, she has to adapt. She is still cute, just that she can't be soft like before or people will take advantage of her. :/

  • I think it's great watching a character grow over the episodes. If Clem were to just stay innocent then she'd have no real development in character.

Lee throughout many portions of Season One attempted to make Clementine more independent and help her survive. If we don't see that take effect on Clem throughout Season Two then it'd feel one of the main premises of Seson One was pointless.

I miss the innocent one too, but we all change and grow up. Clem was under many traumatic experiences in a span of 2 years of her life so it's understandable where she's at now. Besides, there's glimpses of the old Clem in scenes depending on how you play her.

  • I rather have a Border Collie, than Clementine.

This is what parents say about their kids sometimes

Well, I kinda see her as my daughter so that's probably why I'm saying it lol

  • Being cold hearted doesn't mean being tough. Clem is physically small, weak, friendly, quite cheerful young girl, and she still survived shit that countless of big, tough, cold hearted people didn't.

  • I miss clementine she is cute lovely and brave i cant wait for season 3

  • I disagree with you 'Clemisthequeenofsass' because in my personal opinion I think it would be going way over the top if they had more and more S1 Clem in trailers etc.

  • It doesn't have to be in a trailer but it would be nice to see some stuff from before the apocalypse. It's just a suggestion

  • After so many coral memes, I can't take scene seriously anymore.

  • Clementine's gotta grow up, like an actual person does. Eventually kids lose the cute innocence of being a child, especially in her ZA world. It's still there imo, but she's definitely growing into quite the capable person we knew she could be.

  • I want innocent Clem back

Play season 1 again up until the ending.

  • Season 2 Clem might of lost her innocence but she still has a great deal of humanity left depending on the choices you make her do

Tough has various meanings, but one of them is that person is inclined to violent and aggressive behavior. And in Season 2 it's possible to play her that way. Clem can watch how Kenny kills Carver, she can advocate that Kenny should kill Arvo (although the group overrules that decision) and stay out of it when Kenny beats Arvo, she can kill Kenny or allow him to kill Jane etc. Tough also means that person is strong-minded. Clem shows that when she makes difficult decisions without blinking an eye. Fine example of that is when Clem tries to save Sarita by cutting off her hand. That shows that she is tougher than normal kids.

Even though she still shows some dislike towards the brutal violence, she did show coldheartedness and toughness when she doesn't show any mercy to people like Carver and Arvo.

  • I enjoyed Season 2 Clementine. She was super jaded; and that's what I liked about her, it was a realistic change from Season 1 Clementine.

  • But Megan, I'm all for that bump and grind. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

At this point in the apocalypse, I'd think about my survival instead of things that could potentially distract myself from my responsibilities.

  • i don't, people grow. Season 2 was all about Clem losing her innocence. If there was a regression/retcon in season 3, I would be quite pissed.

  • If th guy is hot then i would bump n' grind as well ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
