It had been two days since the Lord Commander had left with Edric Mormont, George Rivers, Howard McDonald, Khort, Jaremy Brownbarrow, Victor and Wulfric Ironsteed. Maester Jon and the First Builder Jorrel were in charge now at Castle Black. On these two days Robett had felt something weird, the castle was calm but he could hear suspicious whispering in the yard and in the halls, it made him feel unsafe. Of course Robett had asked if he could join the mission with Jack, he was his squire after all, but the commander had just said that Robett wasn’t ready for this mission. Since this is pretty clear... Vote is closed! And Robett decides to go talk with Maester Jon about his concerns.
The next part is pretty much done, just have to finish it and read through, so it will come later today. Oh, it's a Rambton PoV.
Rambton looked at the old wildling woman with fury in his gaze. The edge of his sword was still at her throat.
“Do it then, One-eyed crow. Do it if you have the balls for it.” Hrenhild croaked with her raspy voice.
Rambton moved the sword away from Hrenhild, and before the old woman even realized what was happening Rambton had knocked her unconscious. Taste that, old bitch.
“Don’t worry, she is…” Before Rambton could finish his sentence he saw Skadol marching towards him, holding his axe with a furious look on his eyes. Rambton quickly moved his sword and pointed it against Skadol.
“Don’t come any closer.” Rambton warned calmly. “I had all the right to knock that bitch out, you two attacked me, remember?” Skadol didn’t say anything and took another step closer.
“Listen to him, Skadol!” Lynessa shouted desperately. “Ariyana wouldn’t like this, just stop!”
“If you try to defend the crow again, Lynessa, I consider you as an enemy.” Skadol’s words had a cold tone and his eyes were full of rage. “And I kill my enemies.”
“Unless they kill you first.” Rambton answered with a sly grin on his face. They took a step closer to each other, but before either of them managed to make a move they heard a loud roar from the forest. For a moment they were all silent. Rambton looked everywhere around him until finally he found the eyes staring at him from deep in the forest. I have seen those eyes before… The shadowcat. And then the eyes disappeared, as the beast ran to the shadows of the forest.
“Shit, we should get going.” Lynessa said with a serious tone.
“And how do you expect us to do that?” Skadol growled. “The crow knocked out Hrenhild if you happened to forget.” Lynessa turned her worried eyes to the old woman who was still lying on the wet and mossy ground.
“Try to wake her up.” She said nervously. Skadol sighed and walked to Hrenhild. What is going on here?
“What’s wrong Lynessa? You saw that shadowcat leaving… And shadowcats don’t hunt in packs.” Rambton spoke with a questioning voice. “And where the fuck is Ariyana?” The expression on Lynessa’s face changed a little, she looked like she was too afraid to say anything.
“That shadowcat was Ariyana.” Lynessa muttered quickly.
“What?” Rambton shouted, he felt anger and frustration rising inside him. “Ariyana is a fucking warg! And nobody told me? And that shadowcat… It’s the one that took my eye, isn’t it?”
“No, Rambton, I don’t know…” Lynessa tried to say, but Rambton just started to laugh - a laugh full of disbelief and anger.
“Hey!” Skadol shouted behind Rambton. “Dry you tears, One-eyed crow, and let’s move out of here! Now help me with Hrenhild, you are the fucker who knocked her out anyway.”
“Fuck Hrenhild and fuck you! Fuck all you savages!” Rambton shouted to Skadol’s face, making it turn to red from anger.
“Please, try to…” Lynessa’s sentence was cut off by an arrow that flew to one of the trees right next to Skadol and Rambton. What the fuck now?
“None of you move, we have you surrounded!” They heard voice of a young man shout from the forest.
“And who are you?” Skadol growled, gripping tighter to his axe. Rambton tried to find where the voice came from but he saw nobody.
“We are Hornfoots.” The voice answered calmly. Lynessa shook her head in disbelief and muttered something. Skadol cursed and dropped his axe.
“So, I take it you are the fuckers who captured Raymun.” Skadol spoke with angry and desperate tone.
“Yes, we used to be men of Harg the Scarface. And Raymun Redbeard used to be our prisoner… Now he is our King.” With these words the young barefooted man revealed himself and walked closer to them from the woods with a longbow and an arrow in his hands. Rambton kept his sword up as this beardless boy with black hair and bright blue eyes walked towards them.
“There is no need to point that sword at me if you are loyal to King Raymun.” The boy said calmly. “Besides, look behind you.” Rambton turned his head and saw three more Hornfoots walking towards them. One of them was a huge bear of a man with thick brown beard and hair, one was a little bit older man with short black hair and a goatee, and the last one…
“Jay Snow!” Rambton shouted with a confused look on his face. Rambton knew this young pale man, and the scar along his left eye was just the final proof.
“Wait… You are Rambton Snow, aren’t you?” Jay asked with a small smile on his face.
“Last time I saw you, you slit the throat of that recruit from Westerlands and ran away from Castle Black.” Rambton said this time with a little more serious tone.
“Yeah, well that guy was an asshole. Seems like you are on the run now too, huh?” Jay said looking at the scars Rambton had where he used to have his right eye. “And you seem to have lost something too… The brothers of the Night’s Watch did that?”
“No, it was a warg… A warg with a shadowcat.” Rambton said and looked at Lynessa.
“Alright, enough of this. We should head back to King Raymun... And you should come with us.” The young boy with the bow and arrow said.
“Aren’t you going to introduce yourselves?” Skadol asked with a resentful look on his face as Hrenhild started to wake up on the ground.
“Oh, sorry. I’m Varik.” The boy said softly. “This one here is Daritus.” Varik pointed at the big and bearded man who smiled and gave them a small nod.
“Paxtan Codd.” The man with black hair and goatee said with a bored tone. Another one from south of the Wall. “And as you heard this bastard here is Jay Snow, now let’s get going.”
“I’m sure Ariyana will find us.” Lynessa said quietly and Skadol nodded. “Oh, and Hrenhild… Just follow us.” She said to the old woman who had just got up and seemed a little confused about everything around her.
Rambton looked around him as they started to move. I guess I’m a subject of Raymun Redbeard now. He looked at Hrenhild who was trying to get his head clear with the help of Skadol. He looked at Varik and Daritus who led the group. He looked at Jay Snow and Paxtan Codd who were chatting and joking about something. And finally he looked at Lynessa who walked alone with a sad expression on his face. And these are all my fellow subjects… I’m a wildling now.

Skjorn sat silently in the tent of his Magnar. He had wished that he could’ve returned to home after his long journey, he had wished that he could’ve read something again, but it seemed like he had to march for a war now. For the last few days all he had been thinking about was what had happened to Raymun Redbeard. Did he drink my poison? And he had also thought about Barryn and his last words before they had departed. ‘Free folk has the power to defeat the crows, too many of us just seem to be cowards like you… And Magnar Krygorn.’ Skjorn tried to shake these thoughts out of his mind and took another sip of wine. As he finished his goblet he saw Krygorn walking in.
“Tomorrow we’ll be out of the Vale.” Krygorn said with a stern voice as he sat down. Before answering Skjorn had to consider his words for a while.
“Are you sure this is a good idea?” He asked as calmly as he could. “If we stayed here, at the Vale, they could never defeat us.” Krygorn didn’t answer right away, he poured some wine for himself and twiddled the goblet in his fingers for a moment.
“Trust me, Skjorn. I have thought about this, a lot. This is the right way… We must defeat Raymun before his army is too big.” Krygorn spoke with determination in his words. But sometimes determination is not enough. As Skjorn stayed silent Krygorn started to speak again. “However I do have my concerns. I have too many unreliable allies.” The look on the Magnar’s eyes was tired as he spoke. “That Fleshbearer… He and his fellow Ice River clansmen are savages who could never be trusted. The giants are loyal, but it’s a long shot to trust they make it fast enough to help us. And it seems I can’t even fully trust my own men… Barryn proved that.” Bitterness could be heard from the last words of Krygorn.
“I’m sorry for what he did… I tried my best to talk some sense into him, but he ignored my words.” Skjorn said, as the words of Barryn echoed in his mind again.
“It’s not your fault. I knew he had a dream about one day crushing the crows and conquering lands from south, but I had no idea it was this important to him. I really respected him, he is a great warrior… And now he is a traitor, and an enemy.” Krygorn drank his goblet empty and turned his look down.
“It’s unfortunate… But you don’t have to worry, the men still see you as their leader. As their god.” Skjorn put his hand on the Magnar’s shoulder.
“God… That’s what I’ve heard since I was just a boy. First I was son of a god, then I became a god myself.” Krygorn looked at the table as he spoke. “Do you know how hard it is? To be a god to someone, when you know yourself that you are just a man.” For a while Skjorn didn’t know what to answer.
“I don’t know if you’re a god or not, but by leading this people you do the work of the gods. And you can surely be proud of that.” Skjorn said and the Magnar gave him a small and joyless smile.
“Alright Skjorn, I’m sure you don’t want to watch my face all the time, go out to see people… Tomorrow we march out of our lands.” Krygorn spoke quietly and poured more wine for himself. He wants to spend some time alone. Skjorn stood up, gave a small nod to his leader and walked out of the tent.
As Skjorn stepped out of the tent he noticed that the sun had almost set. He took a deep breath of the fresh air and closed his eyes. As he opened them he saw Grekorid Delen approaching the tent.
“Grekorid! I’m sorry, but I think you shouldn’t go there. Magnar doesn’t want any visitors right now.” Skjorn said, making the man on his late forties frown and look at him with questioning eyes.
“What? But Skjorn, I really need to talk to him, it’s about my son, Denyal, and his role in this war.” Grekorid spoke with a polite but also serious tone.
“I am very sorry old friend, but Krygorn really doesn’t want to talk about your son right now.” Skjorn said, raising an eyebrow. He could see that Grekorid wasn’t satisfied with his answer so he continued. “However, perhaps you could talk about this matter with me first.”
“Well, perhaps. Magnar does appreciate your opinion… Alright, follow me to my tent so we can have this conversation in peace.” Grekorid said with a decisive voice and Skjorn nodded in agreement.
-
As Skjorn sat down he took a quick look around. He saw a snow bear skin rug on the ground, two bronze armors, several weapons – many of them had lots of gold in them. One of the richest Thenn lords. Skjorn knew that Grekorid had given much of his gold for buying the poison. He saw the man walking towards him with a serious look on his face.
“I hope you understand this is very important for me.” Grekorid said as he sat down. “My family, the Delens, have always been proud and loyal servants of the Magnar – and we will always be.”
“That is a good thing.” Skjorn answered with a relaxed tone. “The Magnar needs loyal warriors by his side.”
“But I also need to think about the future of my family.” Grekorid said, now staring Skjorn deep into his eyes. “Denyal is my only son, and I’m not likely to have any more. He is at his early twenties, I had led men to many battles at that age… What I’m saying is that he needs to get experience on leading! He is brave young man, he just…”
“I heard that he… Failed two years ago on leading a battle against some Hornfoot clan.” Skjorn remarked as gently as he could. This failure was the only thing he knew about Denyal – From what he had heard the young Delen had panicked and called his men to retreat when an arrow had hit him in the leg. That had apparently led to chaos as some of the men had followed his order and some not. By the end of it most of the men had died and Grekorid Delen had paid a huge ransom to get his son back from these Hornfoots.
“It’s true.” Grekorid answered shortly. “But he deserves another chance. One day he will lead my family, he’ll be the head of Delens.”
“Don’t you have your own men to give him?” Skjorn asked. Hard to believe that Magnar would put much trust on a young boy with such a poor record on commanding.
“I have about a hundred men under my command, but the Magnar decides what I do with those men in this war.” Grekorid said and let out a sigh. “Even without counting Fleshbearer’s men or the giants we have over four thousand men. Surely it wouldn’t be too much to ask that my son would have five hundred of them under his command. Myself I wouldn’t need any, I’d gladly march beside the Magnar himself.”
“I want to be honest with you Grekorid, Magnar will not give your son five hundred men.” Skjorn said calmly. “But perhaps he could give you, well, your own men to command and that way you could teach your son to lead.” Grekorid shook his head for an answer.
“That is not the same. He needs to lead, not to watch someone else lead. If he can’t get five hundred then three or two hundred! I ask of you Skjorn, my friend, please talk about this with Magnar… He respects you.” The words of Grekorid clearly came from the heart. He respects me because I advise him wisely.
“Alright. I’ll talk about this with him.” Skjorn said with an uncertain smile on his face.
“Thank you, Skjorn the Scholar, I’ll be in your debt.” The man said with warmth in his brown eyes and shook Skjorn’s hand. Skjorn gave him a small nod as he walked out of the tent. The sun had set. Tomorrow we march out of our Vale… To war.
[Recommend Denyal to Magnar][Don't recommend Denyal to Magnar]
The war is going to be hard enough already. The last thing the Thenns need are a few hundred men under command of an inexperienced leader, especially in a war as important as this one.

Thanks for the characters! I hope you're okay if I change Skyrnor to be the Magnar's nephew instead of cousin since he is probably a little too young to be his cousin. This way he'll be cousin of Princess Sigira - Of course other option would be to age him up a little.
Nephew is fine haha, I've got a full story for the Greymyst family but I don't want to clutter your characters up with one family haha, I'd be happy to email or comment the details if you are interested happy to have been able to contribute and really excited for the next chapter

Looks like there isn't coming anymore votes, so better close before it becomes a tie... Vote closed!
Skjorn decides that is better to not recommend Denyal to Magnar.
The next part is not finished yet, but there is a change it'll be ready later today. And if not, then tomorrow. The next part won't really be a new character, but it is a new POV. Try to guess if you want to
Sorry if i ask,but i want to create something like this, how did you do it? What program did you use to make other people send you their characters? Thanks for the answer.

Rambton
Rambton looked at the old wildling woman with fury in his gaze. The edge of his sword was still at her throat.
“Do it then, One-eyed crow. Do it if you have the balls for it.” Hrenhild croaked with her raspy voice.
Rambton moved the sword away from Hrenhild, and before the old woman even realized what was happening Rambton had knocked her unconscious. Taste that, old bitch.
“Hrenhild!” Rambton heard Lynessa screaming somewhere behind him.

I think you should stop and keep your day job
Eh, I don't actually have day job, I'm studying. And as I said before, this is just something I do for fun, nothing more - and because of that I see no reason why to stop. I'm still waiting for your advises on writing though! I'm always happy to learn
Hopefully you are studying something other than writing?

Next part will be a Skjorn PoV, it will probably come later today - it's no finished yet though so I can't be sure.
Skjorn

[Reccomend Denyal to Magnar]
Hey there, never done anything like this before, but it looks cool, So I hope you find some use for my character, the story seems great so far, and i cant wait to see where it goes.
Will giants fit into your story? I submitted one earlier but I was just curious cause I haven't seen any yet
Yes, giants will have their role to play. I'll check out the one you submitted the next time I get to my laptop (I'm with my phone now).
Thanks! I'll check out your character as soon as I get to my laptop.
Welp, not sure if you're able to do anything with it, but i don't mind if you can't.
Eira is nice and unique character and I actually already figured out a role for her! Thanks for submitting!
Thank you. I can't wait to read the next part.
