You did not answer the question, due you hate both Last of Us AND Bioshock Infinite, you only have half done.

I can't help but wonder if all of the people that voted Kenny and Lee over Joel and Tommy are people that have not even played The Last Of Us. There is no other excuse for believing Kenny and Lee could have a better relationship or partnership. Joel and his brother had their differences in the past but they parted on good terms and would die for each other.

Tommy is on Rick Grimes status where apocalypse survival is concerned since he runs his own community with elictricity 20 years into the apocalypse and Joel is on Abraham Ford status where Survival is concerned.

Joel and Tommy win hands down.

I played Last Of Us and I voted Lee and Kenny, honestly it's not the relationship part that is better, I just think Lee would win.

Making a poll last of us vs the walking dead characters on a walking dead forum is a little biased.

I thought you watched The Last of Us on youtube?

I only watched on Youtube when I posted that, one of my friends has a PS3 and not long ago I played the real thing.

Just being realistic Kenny is pretty useless at all times you face other humans...
He just gets shot, knocked over accidentally attracts walkers or just runs into an RV...
Lee on his own couldn't really do it...
So I guess Joel and Tommy...

As musch as it KILLS me to vote against these two, Lee and Kenny would get SLAUGHTERED by Joel and Tommy

Yes, I like the last of us.

Despite what people other than critics say, the last of us is quality work
  • edited August 2013
I agree it's quality, it's just in my option a 9/10 instead of 10/10, I do believe its one of the best games of this year, in a year packed full of great games, I just liked Bioshock Infinite more you know, I am just thinking of the idea of having Joel and Ellie, Booker and Elizabeth, and Lee and Clementine in one game.

Though it would never happen, I would like to see that.

Me to, they all are the best story driven games I have ever played, and they all came out in a six month time frame.
  • Joel beacuse he's a better killer and survived 20 years and Lee only killed like 25 walkers and a couple of people, not to mention he died within 4 months and Joel survived 20 years with worse things than walkers, so it's pretty clear who would win against Joel vs lee

Now I love Kenny but Tommy sadly would rekt him

  • Hilarious how you are basing everything off of combat, when tlou is basically an action game, and twd deals more with choices.

But I'm not going to get into that, we all know tlou fanboys will come running.

  • I guess Joel and Tommy, they survived for many more years (correct me if I'm wrong) and runners, clickers and bloaters are much more harder to kill than walkers.

  • Even though I love them, Joel and Tommy are stronger than Lee and Kenny because they survived 20 years being around things that are worse than walkers. Who knows if Lee and Kenny would survive that apocalypse?

  • Joel and Tommy. They're seasoned and Joel can be straight up ruthless to anyone in his way. Even if all four had started at the same time, I'd go with Joel and Tommy.

  • If we're talking about a fight than I would bet my money on Joel and Tommy.

Nothing would ever compel me to ever play TLOU ever again. Kenny's a shit fighter so it'd be 2 on 1

He might suck at throwing a punch, but Kenny's pretty good at tanking them

He'll be a meat shield that Lee just grabs and holds in front of him whenever he's about to get hit

  • Last of Us wins since they have experience and better weapons.

  • edited August 2015

Joel alone would wipe the floor with both of them

I love Lee and Kenny, but they wouldn't stand a chance, maybe Rick and Negan vs. Joel and Tom would be a fairer fight.

  • Negan would WRECK any TLOU Character

I love Lee and Kenny, but they wouldn't stand a chance, maybe Rick and Negan vs. Joel and Tom would be a fairer fight.

  • Let's add a twist: If you have to choose between Joel/Tommy and Lee/Kenny group to survive, which group would you go? Lee is a good man and will help you, but he's less prepared. Joel is a hardcore survivor, but won't give two cents for you.

  • I pick Kenny and Lee even though I hate Kenny, TLOU is the most overrated game ever and gets nothing from me

  • Kenny got pretty good as a fist fighter in Season 2.

  • Because beating up a tied up boy with one leg that's half your size makes you the toughest man on the planet.

I cant really say if Kenny is a good fighter, but he was able to kill all the russians at the end. Well not entire by himself of course, but all the others were more or less hiding. In season 1 he could barely do any damage if he hit Larry, so maybe he really isnt a good fighter with his fists. But we have seen him using different types of weapons over both seasons and he was able to use them really good.

Of course if you compare someone from Walking Dead with Joel they would "probably" lose. I dont want to say anything negative to The Last of Us (I neither really love it nor hate it, it was "ok" in my opinion), but The Last of Us isnt as realistic as Walking Dead if it comes to a combat between humans. I mean Joel is able to get shot multiple times in one fight and is able to keep fighting, he then kills like 10 or more other people. In Walking Dead no one would be able to do that under the same conditions, since they want to keep it realistic and focus on the horror and tension. Its hard to compare characters from such games. But I would say Kenny is relatively similar to Joel, they both would kill everyone that is a threat to them. And Lee and Tommy are relatively similar too, they arent quite the ones that kill everyone in their way, but they are both good fighters if they have to be.

Edit: If I remember correctly The Last of Us had a time skip of like 10 years or something like that. If Lee/Kenny have like 7 more years to learn how to live in that world they would be much better prepared. But I still say they are even teams.

Cause I don't remember Kenny punching anyone else (besides Larry in S1)

  • TLOU had a timeskip of 20 years. If Lee and Kenny are given 7 years, they'd surely be old but more experienced than ever.

  • Lee was 37 and Kenny something like 40, if they survive 7-10 more years they are about the same age as Joel is. I wouldnt call late 40s "old". Even people in their 60s can be fit, a good example is Hershel in the Walking Dead comics.

  • well ya I'm basing it off of combat, are you stupid it's a deathbattle what are they gonna do talk each other to death, and I'm not a fanboy I hate the fact Kenny isn't good enough to beat tom or joel, it just makes more sense that they'd win

If not, Kenny and Lee are fucked with a capital F.
